After Celine frantically sprinted out of the room, Adam let out a quiet sigh and returned to his large executive desk, sitting down in his comfortable leather chair to resume his official duties.
Caleb stood nearby, feeling deeply guilty for saying what he shouldn't have said earlier.
He looked at Adam apologetically and said, "I am really sorry for what happened earlier, Adam. I honestly had no idea that she was in here with you."
