As the future "Desert Tyrant," once he was raised to 4-Stars, his accomplishments would be no less grand.
"CHAAA!!—"
On the field, Arbok hissed, and the scarlet in its dragon-head pattern lit up once more.
The entire pattern seemed to come to life, erupting with a powerful Dragon's Aura.
Gyarados, on the other side, felt this powerful pressure. It instantly felt challenged, and the fury in its ferocious, angry eyes began to skyrocket.
"ROOOOAR!!!!—"
Gyarados bellowed. The terrifying aura created by the combination of Intimidate and Pressure, now unchecked, surged back toward Arbok like a tidal wave.

This left Kenji completely astonished.
He knew that a normal level 25 Pokémon would be instantly crushed by Gyarados's aura, too terrified to even move or fight back.
Even Pokémon many levels higher than Gyarados couldn't completely shake off the effects.
And yet Arbok, despite being so many levels lower, had perfectly nullified Gyarados's aura!
Kenji was both shocked and delighted.

The next instant, Arbok's coiled body shot out, transforming into a black lightning bolt as it charged Gyarados.
