The spiritual wind blew gently over the hills of the City of Eternal Clouds, a small town on the vast Celestial Lotus Continent, territory of the lower world.
In this city, power determined everything. And the power was sustained by the five great families: Jun, Gu, Yun, Wan, and Yan.
Each controlled part of the region's economy, security, and spiritual resources, but all bowed before Governor Yun Hao, a cultivator in the Core Formation Realm — Intermediate Stage (5.50), whose authority was absolute.
In the eastern sector of the city, a clan remained discreet but respected: the Jun Clan.
Although it was not the most powerful, it was known for its discipline and honor, and for its cultivators of solid talent.
The current patriarch, Jun Xiao, was a middle-aged man with a serene gaze and a firm posture, a Master in the Spiritual Foundation Realm (4.35).
His wife, Gu Qingluo, born into the Gu clan, was also in the same realm, famous for her beauty and intelligence.
Both were respected by everyone — and even more loved when the sound of a cry echoed thru the mansion.
"It's a boy..."
"His name will be..." Jun Tian."
That nite, the skies were illuminated with nine colored rays, as if destiny itself were celebrating the birth.
However, no one noticed the true meaning of that phenomenon.
Only Gu Qingluo, holding the baby in her arms, felt something — a strange calm.
The child's eyes, still newly opened, reflected a soft light, as if they were looking beyond the world.
— "Dear... he..."
— "I know." — replied Jun Xiao, serious. — "He was born under an unusual spiritual convergence." But we must keep this a secret. A talent like that attracts both blessings and disasters.
And so it was done.
Childhood and Caution
Jun Tian grew up as an ordinary young man.
Even with an innate talent that made Qi flow naturally in his body, he hid his true potential.
Since he was little, he avidly read all the texts on cultivation, ancient stories, and legends of the gods.
While others trained to exhaustion to accumulate Qi, Jun Tian cultivated knowledge and understanding of the Dao.
"The heavens do not grant power without cost..."
"Whoever wishes to touch the Dao must first understand themselves."
These were words he repeated in silence, watching the city's youth boast about their small achievements.
Few knew that within him a superior spiritual foundation was already forming — even without ever officially entering cultivation.
At ten years old, his perception was already terrifying.
When he saw a master manipulating Qi, he could see the flows and irregularities in the techniques, as if his eyes could perceive the very spiritual fabric of the energy.
But he never revealed this to anyone — not even to his parents.
In public, he feigned failure.
His spiritual talent tests always showed mediocre results, and the elders considered him just another unremarkable heir.
"So disappointing... to be the child of Jun Xiao and Gu Qingluo and still be so ordinary."
"Maybe the strong blood of this lineage has diluted."
These were the words that echoed thru the clan's corridors.
But Jun Tian just smiled in silence.
He understood that the true danger came from envy, not from weakness.
The First Signs of Destiny
One nite, while observing the moon reflected on the clan's lake, Jun Tian had a strange feeling.
The waters began to vibrate slightly.
Suddenly, nine colors reflected in the water mirror — the same ones that had appeared at its birth.
"Why do these colors always appear in my dreams...?"
He approached and, for a moment, saw his reflection split into two — one white and one black.
When he blinked, everything had vanished.
But, deep in his mind, a nine-petaled flower shone softly... the Lotus of Nine Colors had begun to awaken within him.
That very nite, Jun Xiao, who was meditating in the ancestral hall, felt a light pressure on his soul.
He opened his eyes and whispered:
"A chaotic energy... coming from the east?" No... impossible. That aura... came from my son's house?
He ran, but when he arrived, everything had already calmed down.
Jun Tian was sleeping peacefully, with a slight smile on his lips.
And on his forehead, for an instant, a Yin-Yang symbol shone before disappearing.
The Beginning of a Hidden Journey
From that day on, Jun Tian began to have dreams of emptiness, with a flower slowly spinning at the center of a forming universe.
Without understanding what it was, he began to record everything he saw — the colors, the sensations, the voices.
Gradually, he began to understand patterns of energy and vibration, laws that even the clan's elders could not explain.
He still didn't know...
But within him lay the same power that would one day merge all laws, transcend the Dao, and create the path of the Cosmic Divinity.
