Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: Trok'Gayian Part 2 - For Our Future Part 2.

Ines uses her Gaseous Summon to get an aerial view of the surroundings.

I don't need her method to orient me. The violet sky is illuminated with the recognizable Northern Lights (Aurora Boreal), or the Southern Lights (Aurora Austral), shining brightly with their aqua green glow, creating an uneven circular pattern. Implying that i'm located at one of the poles, and the planet is small, probably not bigger than a moon.

Before displacing us to warmer lands. I give the Scroll to Seinnissia. She is stunned after reading the content, promptly returning the item to me. "Put it in your inventory".

{She must mean the, dematerialization}.

The item disappears, and i probe on my idea.

{Inventory Panel}.

{What?!. Why is empty?!. I know i have the object storaged in me… , Is that different?. Storage Panel…}.

Another interface pops up.

{They are two distinct spaces. The latter is probably related to the Looter Subclass, Randomier… , and i believe this designations are based on my own knowledge, not on what they actually are. Or perhaps. It's just automatically simplified so that i can understand, and employ them}.

"Vuir. Why did you store a Pillow?".

I reply with a whisper. "Ask me again when we are alone".

Seinnissia gives me a suspicious look, but accepts with a nod. "As you wish". She and I started walking south, or north. Intending to reach the equator.

"Where are you two going?!. Our friends, and lessonmates need our help!". Admonishes us a burly man with orange eyes, and blackish purple hair with blue touches, wearing a green bodysuit with prefabricated parts, denoting the design is synthetic, not organic like Seinnissia's or mine.

{This man's suit, and Ines's Combat Gambeson, must be created the same way Anahí made her Vagrant Robe, or Amanda built her Vanguard armor…}.

A peach shockwave hits the young man, sending him back to the lagoon's cold water.

"Our friends?". Scornfully states my Future Wife, her Emts overflowing with rage. "Our classmates?. They aren't!. And even if they were. I wouldn't help them, at all. They chose to come. Is their obligation to survive, to prove their worth. Or perish for their stupidity".

"You are a Sunderzen!". He scolds. "Your duty is to protect Clamour!".

"Are we on Clamour?". Comments my Fiancée. "Or in Loutharn?. No?. Then don't bother me, and don't confuse the role «We», the Sunderzen have. Repel invaders who threaten to reduce our territory which almost reaches 23% of Clamour. That's why we protect it. Because it is our domain".

"A territory is nothing without it's residents?!".

"What makes you think Clamour is not overpopulated?. We don't need more residents, the Barriers are at the limit… , Oh. It must be «That». You come from an Exodus, and you don't understand anything regarding Clamour's safety. Get rid of the mindset of your destroyed world, because you're not on it anymore, «Decolored Peasant»".

"Don't get mad, Mommy". I murmur softly, mellowing the angered state of My Feisty Fiancée, carrying her on my back, resuming with our departure, running nearly at 130 kilometers per hour, a speed that is a biological impossibility for any anthropoid organism. However. The Stats and bodysuit, allow me to bypass the biomechanical limitation.

{I can go way faster…}.

The cold gale crashing against me, should be an inconvenience. But Seinnissia radiates heat to keep me warm. While my lower body is constantly emitting Wine Emts, preventing my legs from freezing, especially my toes.

Similarly to us, Ines and the Elven Amazon are coming behind, maintaining their distance. Not only are they slower. The pair must be using us as bait, just in case we encounter any creature, or hostile along this unknown path.

Four and a half hours of uninterrupted journey comes to a halt. Changing the environment from an inhospitable tundra, to a taiga, and now we are almost exiting a cold coniferous forest, by following the river's flow.

{Civilization tends to develop near sources of fresh water. But so far, we haven't seen the slightest hint of intervention, indicating, or suggesting the presence of intelligent life, at least in the way we comprehend «Intelligent»}.

Even so, animals seem scarce, and insects are nonexistent. Although it could be due to the area we arrive, or that i haven't paid enough attention, ignoring several cues and waves in my sight. The Gift of «Kinetic Domination», proving to be effective and annoying.

Besides the river, Seinnissia uses her peach Emts to rise droplets into blobs of water. I purify the liquid spheres with my natural lube.

Waiting for Ines and the Elven Amazon, each duo keeping tabs on the other, because Seinnissia has a Summon watching them, just as they use Ines's Gaseous Summon to hover above us.

{This Summons are like surveillance battle drones}.

During our wait. I talk with my Fiancée, explaining the details of my extra short stay in the Relativistic Portal. She does the same, though her span was of ten days.

In addition, she gives me several tips and pointers on how to improve the control, manipulation and effectiveness of my Emts.

Yet, i barely made a progress. Not enough to start Summoning on my own, but i can start drawing immaterial glyphs in the air, a few lines to be precise, and they disappear almost as fast as i create them, but making an ethereal graffiti whenever i want, is kinda interesting.

"Your progress is astonishing Vuir".

"It is?". I confess with doubt. "I feel so clunky and out of tune with this". I light up my hand with a layer of wine light.

"Emitting Emts takes a few months of practice. Retracting the Emts is minimum a year. You did it in a few hours".

"I see… , Perhaps it is because of the Lube, they possess a similar deployment, but is a lot less volatile and complicated than the Emts".

Ines, reach us, accompanied by Farllette Falloneer, the Elven Amazon, who is casting glyphs in the air, Evoking a Summoning…
