The elephant in the room were the several fire clan members waiting on the other side of the gate. There was a very visible force of goblins around the gate, but since none of the goblins could actually see the gate, they couldn't exactly do anything but wait.
Layla and Kurt were making their way to the gate, Sara was already there so they at least had eyes on the other side. Kurt still wasn't sure what he was going to do, sure maybe they could get a surprise out but really they were out numbered, and they had no idea what powers the opponents had. And they had to assume they had some being from the clan and on this mission.
Once they got there Sara had met up with them, "So I'm not sure me and Kurt can handle all of them."
"Yes that seems like it would be difficult, I think we should discuss where to go though."
"Where to go?"
"Yes, I would think it's possible there are more than we can see, but if I can close the gate, me and Kurt can run, I can fly and he can jump."
