Layla remained quiet. Kurt remained quiet. There was a lot of tension in the air. And a smell. A smell of death, even after they took the bodies it still went.
"Umm, Kurt?" said Layla, said meekly.
"What is it?"
"I think maybe we should tell Carl, or at least one of the people here to tell him."
Kurt gave a low snarl. Again she was right. None of this was Carl's fault. "Fine, I'll go see."
"Be careful though, we still don't know if any are waiting out there."
Kurt made his way out of the warehouse slowly, checking the sides. It seemed like there was nothing. He walked to the main office. And came in. The receptionist looked at him.
"Is it? Is it over?" the receptionist said.
"We think so, is Carl here?"
