Rosie came across one of the demons that had finally come too close. She wasn't trying to impress anyone more than she didn't know who was the strongest, Kurt. He looked at the faceless corpse of Horus.
She probably didn't think it was anything more than an imitation.
Rosie clashed with a demon. Their speed accelerated.
As Kurt came at the Horus, Horus shot back with some power. The power Kurt could deflect but it was unlikely anyone else could. The same he had done with Mordor.
Kurt's slices started to warp reality coming towards Horus's corpse. But before he could get the Lich to appear instead of another corpse. Horus had appeared as a skeleton on the ground and rose again towards, but not towards Kurt towards Rosie.
He looked and saw Rosie had been battling the shadow demon at odds. He looked at the situation and realized something.
They had chosen correctly, the demons were there for Kurt and Horus and luck was there for Rosie.
