Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: Higashi’s Recent Frustrations and Everything Going Wrong

Higashi has been extremely annoyed lately; nothing is going his way.

Akane—this is the chick he's had his eyes on for a long, long time.

Ice-queen beauty face, explosive figure, the perfect fusion of purity and seduction.

From the very first glance, Higashi resolved to train this chick into his personal bitch, and after learning her background was ordinary with basically zero backing, he was 90% confident he could take her down.

By chance discovering she was involved with baseball club member Shono, that probability shot up to 100%.

That time in the PE storage room was supposed to be the perfect moment to pin her down—Higashi could almost smell the slutty fragrance on that little chick. But… the whole plan was completely ruined.

Anji… no, it should be called Satoru.

This guy's appearance wrecked all of Higashi's schemes.

To the point that every subsequent opportunity was also interfered with by him.

Not only did Higashi fail to get Akane into his arms, but the latter even resigned from her position as baseball club manager.

Higashi originally thought it was no big deal—as long as Shono was still in his grasp, he wasn't afraid Akane wouldn't submit.

As a result, when he went to the baseball club after school to ask, Shono's words left Higashi completely stunned.

"…Akane says she wants to break up with me." Shono looked at Higashi: "Coach, what exactly did I do wrong?"

Shono's despairing eyes made Higashi furious—he almost wanted to vent his anger by punching the kid in the jaw. Can't even keep your own girlfriend in check and you come asking me!?

But Higashi quickly realized something was wrong. He had previously used Shono's starter position to threaten Akane. If Akane could now discard even Shono, naturally she wouldn't care whether he was a starter or not…

This was bad!

You have to understand, that bastard Satoru still has the recording from when he wanted to molest Akane. That thing was originally the equivalent of a nuclear bomb—as long as Shono wasn't removed from the starting lineup, it wouldn't be released. Now that both of them no longer cared about it, wouldn't that mean they could detonate it anytime?

Plus, earlier today during PE class, he had gone out of his way to try and screw over Satoru…

This was bad! Absolutely cannot let that recording leak.

Higashi's heart burned with anxiety. He looked at Shono and suddenly, as if struck by inspiration, revealed a grin full of yellowed teeth:

"Shono, you didn't do anything wrong. It's just that Akane has fallen for someone else…"

"What! Impossible, Akane she…"

"Nothing's impossible. That guy is called Satoru, a student in Class F. She was sweet-talking you while cheating on the side. I personally saw them being all lovey-dovey before… I didn't mention it earlier to spare your feelings. But I guess she was afraid the paper couldn't wrap the fire, so Akane chose to break up with you…"

"It was actually like this!!" Shono's despair vanished, replaced by spreading rage. He got it—he completely got it.

No wonder Akane slandered Coach Higashi so much; it turns out the coach had caught her in the act! Was she trying to drive a wedge between him and Coach Higashi, that woman…

He gnashed his teeth, making unwilling "creak creak" sounds.

Higashi was very satisfied with the expression Shono was now showing. He narrowed his long, thin eyes and spoke in a slightly tempting tone: "So, Shono, do you want to get revenge on that pair of adulterers?"

Shono raised his head: "W-What should I do?"

Higashi had investigated Akane's home address. After letting the baseball club members train on their own, he rushed out of school, hailed a taxi—if he was fast, he might still intercept her before she got home!

Sure enough, just as he expected, under the dim red sunset, he successfully spotted Akane's slender back.

"Akane… you really think you can just quit the baseball club like this?" he said sinisterly.

Akane was especially sensitive to this voice—she immediately turned around.

Their eyes met, and then Akane's cherry-colored lips trembled slightly, somewhat in disbelief: "…Higashi… why are you…"

Akane's slightly terrified expression made Higashi involuntarily snort with laughter—turns out it was still the Akane he knew.

"Coach Higashi?"

Arisa, walking with Akane, frowned. As fellow White Hill High students, she had also heard of this PE teacher's reputation. Earlier on the train, she had chatted with Akane, who said she had already quit the baseball club without explaining the reason, but now the baseball club's supervising coach showing up here… there had to be a connection between the two events.

Higashi didn't recognize Arisa; he only vaguely remembered she seemed to be Rena's little lackey.

He paid her no mind: "Akane, come with me. I have something to discuss with you."

"I have nothing to say to you." Akane gripped her backpack straps tightly, her eyes unnaturally glancing elsewhere as she spoke.

Higashi laughed, baring his rough mouth full of big yellow teeth: "Akane ah, you really don't care about Shono at all anymore? If you're not willing to come with me, then Shono… hehe."

Akane grew a bit tense, her pupils trembling chaotically: "…What did you do to Shono… to Shono?"

Her reaction was within Higashi's expectations. Although Akane had broken up with Shono, they had still dated for a while… as long as he used Shono to threaten her, heh—if the "starter position" didn't work, he'd use "personal safety" instead. He wasn't afraid this chick wouldn't worry.

Higashi didn't answer. Akane could only turn back to Arisa and say:

"Arisa… you go home first. We… uh, the baseball club still has some things to coordinate with Coach Higashi."

"Oh, okay…" Arisa nodded. She felt uneasy about Higashi. But since Akane said so… she patted Akane's backpack. "Then be careful."

Shono? Arisa had heard the name—he should be from the baseball club. What was his relationship with Akane?

It felt like nothing good was going to happen. Should she notify Satoru?

Arisa took out her phone. Uh uh, she didn't seem to have Satoru's number…

Higashi walked ahead with a sinister grin, while Akane followed behind with her head lowered.

The distance between them was neither too close nor too far.

No one around. Higashi spoke: "I'm telling you, Akane, Shono is in my hands right now. If you don't believe me, you can call him… see if he can still pick up."

He laughed creepily, conveying the meaning: If you don't obey, I'll do anything to Shono.

Akane hurriedly took out her phone, as if dialing a number. After waiting quietly for a while, her expression changed: "You exactly…"

Of course it wouldn't connect—Higashi thought smugly; after all, this was pre-arranged with Shono.

Higashi suddenly felt a surge of great-vendetta-avenged pleasure. Seeing that this street seemed empty, he turned around and crooked his thick finger at Akane: "Akane, come here…"

Might as well start teaching her some adult matters right here.

Akane hesitated for a moment, as if steeling herself by biting her lip, then slowly walked toward Higashi.

Higashi felt even more thrilled. Hahahahaha, though there were setbacks earlier, the "fruit" obtained this way might be even sweeter…

"Kneel!" Higashi commanded.

Akane bent at the waist, and Higashi's smile grew more twisted and euphoric.

The next moment, Akane's legs—along with her uniform shoes—snapped up cleanly and decisively, fast enough to create a gust that slightly flipped her skirt. Thankfully, Akane didn't have the habit of shortening her school skirt, so no exposure.

Then, this kick of hers landed hard right between Higashi's legs.

Higashi's smile abruptly stopped, his face instantly turning deathly pale.
