Chapter 11 - XI: Moment of a Lifetime

Emi called Louis during the day,"How's your Gran's place, Where even are you?", Emi asked. Louis answered Ireland. "Wait what? Hey guys! Who knew Louis is Ireland?" They all were shocked, because if had kept that for two years, they would've had the same reaction. They chat with him the whole day about work and his personal life. When that was over, he helped Granny with the cooking and someone rang on the doorbell. "Where you expecting someone Granny?", Louis asked, while Granny nodded. He was asking who is it, but she just said open the door and you will see who it is. He went to open the door and to his surprise, Emi, Henry, Lily and Nicole were standing at the doorstep. Louis was as clueless as ever trying to evaluate what was going on. "Your grandmother called us and asked if you could do a surprise visit for you.", Emi said. He looked at Granny and she gave a warm smile walking towards him. Louis suggest that he would be a tour guide. "Bí cinnte go dtagann siad chuig an dinnéar.", Granny said, while Louis nodded and the others not understanding a word. They left to go explore Galway. First was the Spanish Arch, something that was their first options: Historic sites first. They took pics that they would keep. Nicole and Louis went to the shop to buy some Red Bull. "So, umm, what are your plans for today?", Louis asked. Nicole looked at him smiling, "You are our tour guide.", she said which made Louis red, but he tried controlling himself. Second was Lynch's Castle, a type of a building that turned to a museum. Nicole and Louis were talking non-stop and Emi was getting jealous of him and her. Henry went over to Emi and asked, "Do you know where the restrooms are?"

Emi nodded and decided to go with him. Meanwhile, Lily were going through every single place in the Lynch's Castle. She really loved artifacts and belongings to ancient people. She was taking pictures of every artifacts in the building. Continuing, Henry asked Emi, "Are you jealous of our little emo?" Emi blushed looking like a ripe tomato. She was denying and hiding her face. She looked at Henry and his grin said it all. "You like Louis.", Henry laughing at her like a horse showing teeth like it's a casual thing while she was trying to convince him that it's not true. Henry told her that he won't tell if she confessed till the next two weeks Thursday. Emi angrily looked at him, "You wouldn't, because I will deny.", she said. Henry grinned even more deviously and showed her a voice recorder. Emi tried to snatch it, but he's 6'0 and she's 4'11. "And even if you took it, you would go so Red even Mars is brighter than you. Henry left to go use the bathroom and came back looking for Lily and Nicole. "Emi has a crush on Louis.", Henry said. Lily and Nicole were super excited and looked at each other, "I bet a whole ass meal and a hundred dollar champagne that they are getting together.", Lily said. "No way, she'd chicken out, because she can't talk to me.", Nicole said. Louis walked up to the chatty group, "Hey, what're you talking about." They were dead quiet not knowing what the slightest to do. Finally, Nicole said, "We were wondering why you didn't tell us your family is rich."

Louis didn't know even the foggiest clue how to answer. Emi came out and noticed them speaking to Louis and decided to walk a bit faster to hear what the hell is going on. Next was the Galway Cathedral. "This is huge.", Emi whispered. The gang saw a priest holding a Bible. They saw Lizzy and her child and after the bible lecture was over, they introduced each other. "I'm Lizzy and this is my child Jason.", she said. Lizzy looked at Louis, "Louis, why didn't you tell me you had marvelous friends." Louis said that he forgot (typical) They took pictures and Lizzy took Jason home to his dad and they all went to a pub. "Did you know that Louis was a cellist?", Henry asked. Lizzy was sitting next to him and said, "You still have the cello?", while Louis looked down a bit embarrassed. "I enjoyed playing it that I couldn't throw it away." , he said. Then Emi asked, "I was wondering, why do you have PTSD? Didn't you stay in Ireland your whole life?" Louis looked at her, "No, I was in the CIA for two years as a field agent and witnessed something that I can't get out." They looked at each other saddened by what he said. After that conversation, they went back home and Granny offered them separate room to sleep at. They were thrilled at the sites and couldn't wait for more, but they want to help Louis too. It was a double-edged sword.
