Chapter 63 - Chapter 62: Dream Master

"Rinnegan, Tenseigan…"

"Then what kind of eye is this?"

Boruto stared into the mirror, studying his reflection.

His right eye's sclera was a deep gray, while the iris glowed faintly blue.

It awakened with my Tenseigan, he thought, but it doesn't seem to have any special ability—just sharper dynamic vision. Like an enhanced Byakugan, maybe.

He sighed, shaking his head.

"Forget it. No point thinking too hard about it. My current strength is enough to start that plan."

Late that night, Sarada Uchiha lay in bed, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.

Ever since she had lived with Boruto in the Hidden Mist Village, she had grown used to falling asleep peacefully in his embrace.

Now that she was back in Konoha, insomnia often kept her awake.

Whenever she thought about those quiet nights with Boruto at that seaside hotel, her cheeks turned scarlet.

Sarada sat up, rubbing her face.

"Oh no… am I really at the point where I can't fall asleep unless I'm in Boruto's arms?"

Though they spent most of the day together, a strange emptiness always crept in whenever they parted for the night.

Hugging her knees, she buried her face and whispered, "What should I do…?"

Finally, she took a deep breath, stood, and walked to the window.

Opening it carefully so as not to wake Sakura, she let the cool night breeze brush against her cheeks.

Her gaze fixed on Boruto's house in the distance.

After a brief hesitation, she made up her mind — then silently leapt from the window.

Landing lightly in the Uchiha courtyard, Sarada slipped through the quiet streets, her footsteps soft as whispers, until she reached Boruto's home.

But once she stood before his window, hesitation hit again.

"What if Aunt Hinata finds out…?" she muttered, pacing nervously. "Maybe I should just go back—"

Before she could move, an invisible force wrapped around her.

"Ah—!"

She almost cried out but quickly covered her mouth.

That same unseen force gently pulled her toward Boruto's window.

It opened on its own — and after she stepped inside, it shut silently behind her.

"Sarada, why are you sneaking around outside my house?"

Boruto sat casually on the bed, smirking.

"I…"

Sarada turned her head away, cheeks burning, her voice barely audible.

"I couldn't sleep… so I wanted to see you."

Boruto chuckled, the smile at his lips widening.

Sarada stopped pretending to be shy.

She walked straight to the bed, lifted the covers, and slipped under them, pressing herself close to him.

"Sarada, you—"

Before he could finish, she placed a finger over his lips.

"Don't talk. Just sleep."

Feeling Boruto's warmth beside her, she drifted into a deep, peaceful sleep — the best she'd had since returning to Konoha.

The next morning, Sarada slowly woke up to find herself lying in Boruto's arms.

She felt his steady breathing and turned her head.

"Good morning, Sarada," Boruto murmured as his eyes opened, meeting hers.

"Good morning, Boruto."

Realizing where she was, Sarada blushed and started to get up — when a voice came from outside the door.

"Big Brother!"

It was Himawari Uzumaki.

Sarada froze instantly. Crap. If Himawari sees me, what will she think?!

Panicking, she ducked back under the blanket, completely covering herself.

Boruto glanced at her and smirked.

"Brother, breakfast is ready!"

Himawari pushed open the door and saw Boruto sitting up on his bed.

"Morning, Himawari," he said casually. "I'll be right there. Go ahead first."

"Okay!" she chirped, skipping back out of the room.

Sarada poked her head out from under the blanket, exhaling in relief.

"That was too close… if she saw me, I'd die of embarrassment."

Boruto laughed softly. "What are you so afraid of? So what if she finds out?"

"But…"

"Relax," Boruto interrupted. "I'll have Krab send you back."

Moments later, Krab appeared in Boruto's room.

After a quick goodbye kiss, Sarada disappeared as Krab's space–time ninjutsu teleported her home.

On a deserted island in the Land of Water, a ripple of space appeared, twisting into a vortex.

Boruto and Krab stepped out into the moonlit clearing.

Boruto activated his Rinnegan, raised one hand, and said softly:

"Summoning Jutsu: Demonic Statue of the Outer Path!"

With a thunderous roar, a surge of white smoke exploded behind him — revealing a hundred-meter-tall Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

"It actually worked," Boruto said, staring up in awe.

"I thought it was sealed permanently in Kaguya's dimension and couldn't be summoned anymore."

When he tried to move it, the statue stood motionless.

"So it won't respond without Tailed Beast chakra... unless I drain my own chakra and life force like Nagato did."

He smiled faintly. "That's fine. I don't plan to make you fight anyway."

Several days later, at the Konoha Orphanage…

Inside his office, Kabuto Yakushi, dressed in a black cloak and glasses, was preparing lesson materials for the children.

"Running an orphanage is such a waste of my talents," he muttered.

A voice suddenly spoke from behind him.

"Kabuto."

The tone was calm — but it made Kabuto's entire body freeze.

"When…? I didn't sense him at all…"

He turned around slowly and found Boruto standing there, smiling.

"You're Naruto's son, right? What brings you here?"

Boruto's smile didn't fade.

"Nothing major. I just came to ask if you'd be interested in resuming your old profession."

Kabuto frowned, studying him carefully.

"Naruto's son… your words are strange. I've long since turned over a new leaf. My only goal now is to educate and protect these children."

He pushed his glasses up slightly. "What exactly do you mean by 'resuming my old profession'?"

Boruto's expression sharpened into something unreadable.

"Continue to play your role as the Dream Weaver," he said with a faint smile.
