Chapter 6 - Even Sengoku Couldn’t Foresee This

Compared to Sengoku's careful reasoning—

Others in the chat had also given the question some thought, but none of them had access to as much intelligence or as broad a perspective as Sengoku.

Right now, the chatroom was buzzing with excitement.

Roronoa Zoro: I pick option 8. The leader of the Revolutionary Army in the other world has to be a great swordsman!

There was no real reason behind his choice—each option could make sense, so Zoro simply went with "swordsman."

Kaido: What kind of brat are you? It's obviously the powerful soldier! War—only war—can change this world!

No complicated reasoning there either. Kaido chose the "soldier" purely because that's what he was—a betrayed soldier.

Douglas Bullet: I agree with Kaido. Anyone who stands at the pinnacle of the world has to be a betrayed, battle-hardened soldier!

Nico Robin: An archaeologist. Only an archaeologist can understand the true nature of this world—and change it.

Dr. Clover: Well said, Robin.

Vegapunk: Nonsense. The answer's obviously science! Only technology can reform the world! The power of science—I choose option 2.

Cobra: I think a righteous king of a great nation fits too. Someone with both influence and strength.

Cobra joined the discussion as well—partly because his health had been poor ever since the Alabasta incident,

and partly because, even in death, he wanted to leave something behind for his daughter, Vivi.

Crocodile: Long time no see, King Cobra. A monarch who almost got his throne stolen by a pirate… Do you really think you could become a revolutionary leader capable of shaking the world? Speaking of influence, I'd sooner pick the Celestial Dragon.

Doflamingo: A Celestial Dragon who throws away his divine status? What's the difference between that and an idiot? Pathetic.

Garp: Enough chatter. I pick option 5—the Navy hero's son. That's more than enough.

Monkey D. Luffy: Sounds good! I'll pick the same as Gramps!

Garp's words even made Sengoku's heart tighten.

With only three winners and so many picking option 5, it would all come down to speed once the countdown ended.

Katakuri: Damn, this is hard… even my Observation Haki can't see the right answer. Too tough.

The ten seconds slipped away quickly amidst the banter in the chatroom.

When the countdown hit zero, the entire chat exploded—everyone turned into a "quiz master," answering in an instant.

[This round's correct answer is—Option 4!]

[Top three correct responders: Sweet Commander Katakuri, Whitebeard Edward Newgate, and former Marine Admiral Zephyr.]

[Katakuri's reward: Conqueror's Haki Infusion Awakening Card. Grants instant mastery of advanced Conqueror's Haki infusion.]

[Whitebeard Edward Newgate's reward: Five-Year Resurrection Card. Can perfectly revive anyone who has died within five years. Can be combined—two cards create a Ten-Year Resurrection Card.]

(Note 1: The usable years decrease by time since death; the remaining time converts into reduced age. For example, a Five-Year Resurrection Card used on someone dead for two years revives them three years younger. Cannot be used on the living.)

(Note 2: If a deceased person receives a Resurrection Card, it binds automatically and cannot be used on others. If revival isn't possible, it stacks toward total revival time. Living users may apply it to others.)

[Former Marine Admiral Zephyr's reward: Ten-Year Perfect Restoration Elixir. Fully restores the body from all injuries, disabilities, hidden wounds, and diseases. Also rejuvenates the user by ten years.]

Katakuri: I just picked randomly, going with my gut—and I actually got it right…

Katakuri was stunned. Even his future-sensing Observation Haki couldn't foresee the quiz result, so he'd simply chosen on instinct.

Right after picking, he'd regretted it—option 4 had looked like the least likely.

Who could've guessed it was actually correct?

And even better, it was the reward he wanted most—awakening Conqueror's Haki Infusion!

Though his Observation Haki was unmatched, he'd always been a bit behind in Conqueror's Haki.

The Mochi-Mochi Fruit gave him versatility but lacked sheer destructive power—that had always been his weakness,

the one thing separating him from the level of a true Emperor.

Now, that weakness was gone.

With awakened Conqueror's Infusion, he finally had the confidence to stand against his rampaging mother, Big Mom herself—to protect his siblings.

Whitebeard: A commoner orphan, huh? Looks like fate's on my side.

Whitebeard's voice was heavy with emotion.

The reason he chose option 4 was simple—because that was exactly what he'd once been: an orphan from a fallen nation, a powerless boy.

Everything he became afterward came from his own hands—fighting on the edge of life and death again and again.

Sengoku: Impossible… how could it be 4!?

He couldn't accept it.

His deduction had been airtight—"the hero's son" was by far the most logical choice.

Even if not, any of the other options made more sense than "a powerless orphan."

After all, starting as a nobody and ending up leading a revolution that shook the world? That was far too much of a stretch.

Below an orphan's status, there was only that of a slave.

Roger: The hell are you guys talking about answers for!? The real discussion should be about the rewards! Resurrection items are real—and that bastard Newgate's already got one!

Golden Lion: That resurrection item's sweet, but what a shame—I'm already dead. If I were still alive, I'd rather have Zephyr's damn repair elixir.

Even in his spectral state, Golden Lion felt the sting of jealousy.

The resurrection card was tempting—but that restoration potion was just as amazing!

In fact, if he were still alive, the elixir would be even better for him.

It could fix his severed legs, remove the helm lodged in his head, and even make him ten years younger.

If his legs were whole, if his head were clear—if his body were young again—how could he ever have lost to those rookie pirates?

His crippled body had limited his mobility.

Even with the Float-Float Fruit, his speed wasn't enough.

And that damned rudder in his head weakened his Haki—his brain could be pierced at any time. Living had been a constant gamble.

Brook: Now that I think about it… if you're a living skeleton like me, does that count as being alive or dead? Would I need the resurrection card or the restoration potion?

Nami: That's a good question—but before you ask, maybe try winning a quiz first.

Tony Tony Chopper: Forget revival! I want to study that restoration potion! If it can heal any injury or illness, then it's basically… the ultimate medicine!
