Chapter 75 - Chapter 74: Magic Tree Binding Kill VS Genuine Tree Binding Kill

"This isn't a medical technique!" Itsuki explained calmly. "I'm just using life force to stimulate cell activity, speeding up the healing of Kiba and Akamaru's injuries."

Life Ninjutsu? Kurenai Yuhi's expression turned slightly serious.

This was far beyond standard medical ninjutsu. If the operation was done incorrectly, serious problems could occur.

And from Kurenai's understanding, any ninjutsu involving life generally demanded a huge price from the user.

Itsuki noticed her concern and waved a hand. "Don't worry, Teacher Kurenai. My body is quite special. I'm only transferring a little vitality. It won't affect me much."

After repeated confirmation, Kurenai's expression softened, and she looked at him with a hint of surprise—and perhaps a little eagerness. "If that's the case… could you do me a favor?"

Someone near Kurenai needed life force to recuperate.

Itsuki paused for a moment, then thought of Yakumo Kurama—the girl with the strongest Genjutsu bloodline, capable of controlling the five senses and even creating a virtual world.

Yakumo had been one of Kurenai's early students, but her frail body could not support her bloodline, preventing her from becoming a ninja.

Her imbalance of chakra even caused her to develop inner demons.

Using vitality to help her recover could work, but first, her inner demons needed to be resolved.

Yakumo was a pitiable person, and it would be a waste if her abilities couldn't develop.

Itsuki, who had not considered it before, nodded firmly when Kurenai mentioned it. "Teacher Kurenai, you don't need to be so formal. I want to learn Genjutsu from you, so I'm your student. Whatever instructions you give, I'll help, no matter how difficult."

Kurenai had not dared to hope for too much—she just wanted to try.

Seeing Itsuki speak with such confidence, she chuckled. "Even so, if you lack talent for Genjutsu, I won't teach you. So first, let's test your ability!"

Talent? This was Itsuki's specialty.

"Teacher Kurenai, please go ahead! Don't go easy on me just because I'm young. Use your highest-level test!" Itsuki held his head high, radiating confidence.

Talent was his strongest suit—even more than his masculine charm.

"So confident?" Kurenai murmured, amused. She assumed it was just childish pride.

But suddenly, the scene before Itsuki shifted.

He felt dizzy, and when he looked carefully, he realized he had been bound to the trunk of a tree.

A binding game?

"The test has begun!" Kurenai appeared above him, holding a kunai.

She lightly traced the blade across Itsuki's face. "This is the Magic Tree Binding. Untie yourself if you can, but I won't hold back until you succeed!"

Itsuki tilted his head slightly, taking in her close figure.

Kurenai was one of the few women who could almost be called perfect in figure, radiating both femininity and charm.

Even the composed Itsuki felt his heart skip a beat.

"What's the matter? Didn't you ask me to use the highest-level test? This is only average at best," Kurenai said with a smile, sliding the kunai toward his neck.

Itsuki snapped back to focus and smiled faintly. "Looking at you like this… it reminds me of my mother when I was a child. I was a little distracted. Teacher Kurenai, I suggest you pay attention now!"

Kurenai didn't understand, but there was no time to question him.

Itsuki's chakra surged, breaking through her illusion restraints effortlessly.

"Magic Tree Binding Kill!"

With several hand seals, a massive tree sprouted from behind him. Vines erupted, wrapping toward Kurenai as if to restrain her.

Though skilled, Kurenai was caught off guard.

She slashed the nearest vines with her kunai, leaped back, and formed a hand seal to release the illusion.

"Untie!"

Her chakra exploded—but the tree remained.

The illusion wasn't broken? How was this possible?

Saplings erupted in every direction, growing into giant trees, each sending vines to bind her.

"What… is this?" Kurenai muttered, utterly confused.

Itsuki had seemingly turned her own Tree Binding Genjutsu into reality—and expanded it into a multi-target restraining skill.

Could it be that this child was a true master of Genjutsu, while she was… just a Jonin?

Her movements slowed, and a vine grazed her lower back.

She lost balance as several more vines wrapped her into a spread-eagle position among the trees.

"The little guy is surprisingly capable," she thought, trying to remain calm.

She focused her chakra to dispel the illusion—but failed. Every attempt was blocked.

"Could it be… real?" she whispered.

Itsuki stepped forward, smiling, and carefully released her. "Teacher Kurenai, although I used real Wood Release, illusions are inherently about perception—real and unreal at the same time. I just made you think my Wood Release was an illusion. Isn't that… a kind of Genjutsu talent?"

Kurenai froze, speechless. The child wasn't just talented—he was extraordinary.
