Cain narrowed his eyes.
At that moment, the group of Tyrantrum was not far from the Tyranitar.
The system scanned the data of the Tyrantrum group's leader.

With a Dark Blue quality and level 75, he had already crossed the Elite threshold, reaching the Intermediate Elite Four level.
Truly something rare.
Encountering two wild Pokémon who had surpassed the Elite level in a place like this was uncommon.
Even though he still didn't know what kind of world he was in, it was probably a paradise for Rock-type Pokémon.
The Tyrantrum leader and the Tyranitar leader didn't get along.
But it had to be admitted that the Tyranitar's strength far exceeded that of the Tyrantrum.
In fact, any single Tyranitar overpowered an individual Tyrantrum, which is why they needed large numbers to even dare challenge them.
That Tyrantrum leader probably couldn't even easily defeat the strongest subordinate Tyranitar, who was already at level 74.
Still, the numerical difference was overwhelming.
"Tyran!"
The Tyranitar leader roared, once again transforming into the terrifying beast of the sandstorm.
"Tyran!"
"Tyran!"
The other Tyranitar also roared without hesitation.
"Roar!"
The Tyrantrum leader responded with a thunderous cry, defiant.
Too bad this was a rocky territory filled with Rock-type Pokémon—otherwise, they would understand why the Tyrant of the Sandstorm was so named.
The ability Sand Stream didn't have much effect on the Tyrantrum.
Even so, Cain noticed that the Tyranitar displayed unwavering courage—perhaps inspired by their leader, or maybe forged through battle after battle.
Among the Tyrantrum, aside from the leader and those in the front, the others showed slight tension and respect.
Such was the fame of the Sandstorm Tyrant.
No more words were exchanged; this wasn't their first fight.
The Tyranitar leader charged straight at the Tyrantrum group.
The rest followed immediately.
Around them, the green energy faded, replaced by a thin layer of sand.
Even if the Sand Stream ability didn't give them a direct advantage against the Tyrantrum, used differently, it could still be useful.
Besides, the class Pupitar had given that morning had helped the Tyranitar understand new ways to use sand, rock energy, and earth power.
"Rooaar!"
With another roar from the Tyrantrum leader, all of his forces charged as well.
Even the most fearful among them did not back down.
Fear may be natural, but this battle would directly affect the future of their clan—they couldn't retreat.
Neither side was right or wrong.
Such are the laws of nature in the wild world: the strongest survives.
Cain and his Pokémon remained still.
Pupitar, although visibly worried, was no longer naïve enough to join the fight.
It was clear he understood that this scale of battle was not something he could handle yet.
A clear sign of his maturity.
Before, Pupitar would have charged in without thinking about the enemy's strength.
He had grown.
Cain watched from a distance as the two sides prepared to clash.
The Tyranitar leader raised his fist, gathering a massive amount of energy, along with his overwhelming physical strength.
If it were a normal Pokémon, it would probably be knocked out in a single blow.
Boom!!
The first contact was between the two leaders—Tyranitar and Tyrantrum.
But the result was surprising.
Tyranitar sent him flying with a single punch, making him roll several times across the ground before stopping.
Even so, the other Tyrantrum didn't seem surprised, as if they were already used to it.
Immediately, two more Tyrantrum leapt in to intercept the Tyranitar leader, stopping him from advancing.
Meanwhile, the Tyrantrum leader got up unsteadily, and without a moment's hesitation, locked eyes on his opponent and charged again with his jaws wide open.
The rest of the battlefield followed the same pattern.
The first Tyrantrum to get close was always the one who fared the worst, but had to immediately get back up.
Otherwise, their companions wouldn't be able to hold off the Tyranitar.
The Tyrantrum outnumbered the Tyranitar by more than three to one.
So each Tyranitar had to face three or more Tyrantrum at once.
That was the only reason they could hold their own against the Tyranitar group.
It wasn't their first battle.
Both sides knew each other well.
The fight quickly became intense.
Everything boiled down to a pure clash of fists and brute force.
Very soon, both sides began to accumulate injuries.
The intensity was obvious.
But it didn't take long for the balance to be broken.
From the Tyrantrum group, two of them broke away from their opponents and sped toward the interior of the valley.
The rest of the Tyrantrum continued successfully holding off the Tyranitar assault.
Upon seeing them approach, Cain understood their intentions.
Some Tyrantrum had probably evolved or improved, slightly tipping the balance.
But their leader knew that completely defeating the Tyranitar was nearly impossible.
Their best option was to hold them off while sending a small squad to steal resources.
The resource in question: water.
And if Pupitar or Larvitar tried to intervene, they would simply be ignored.
"Tyran!"
The Tyranitar leader also noticed the maneuver and roared in fury.
But with so few Tyranitar available, losing one on the front lines would make it even harder to hold back the other Tyrantrum.
Still, he didn't have many options.
He was already preparing to release one of his allies from combat to return to the valley to defend it.
If they didn't move now, they wouldn't reach the intruders in time.
Cain and Pupitar also saw the two Tyrantrum coming, though they noticed they weren't the target.
"Puppp!" Pupitar understood the situation and cried out to Cain.
"Don't worry," Cain responded without hesitation, accepting Pupitar's request.
As a trainer, if you can't trust your own Pokémon's decisions, then you can't call yourself its partner.
"Puppp!"
After receiving Cain's approval, Pupitar smiled with determination and shouted to the Tyranitar leader: "Leave those two to us! You keep fighting your battle!"
