Chapter 98 - Enlightenment of the Five Elements

Yun Chuan was feeling extremely peculiar at this moment.

The moment the five elements were complete within the five organs of his body, he felt as if his entire consciousness had been infinitely elevated! Observing his own body from a macro perspective, the sensation was truly extraordinary.

A complex diagram of his meridians appeared before his eyes, resembling mountains and rivers, with blood as water and the meridians as canals.

What caught his attention most were the five luminous orbs, each attached to a different organ: the red orb in the heart, the green orb in the liver, the yellow orb in the spleen, the white orb in the lungs, and the black orb in the kidneys.

In traditional Chinese philosophy,

the world itself is built from the Five Elements. The Five Elements are the foundation of the world!Everything in the universe is formed by the transformations and interactions of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. Mastery of the Five Elements is equivalent to controlling the world itself, granting the power to create or destroy!

The human body is like a miniature universe. As he observed within himself, he first focused on the heart. His entire heart was enveloped in a vivid red flame, looking like a small sun, burning fiercely, radiating heat and vitality!

Suddenly, the raging flame in the heart halted.

It felt as if time had frozen, the entire scene suspended.

Gradually,

the bright red flame disappeared, replaced by fiery red runes emerging from the surface of the heart.

These runes were extremely intricate, carrying a subtle, ancient, and profound aura—like the manifestation of some universal law, or perhaps the incorruptible truth of the cosmos.

Each fiery rune moved across the heart as if it possessed a consciousness of its own. Though the motion seemed chaotic, careful observation revealed an underlying supreme order.

Yun Chuan's mind was irresistibly drawn to these runes. Each movement imparted a peculiar insight, conveying information, making him feel as if he understood something, yet also as if he had grasped nothing.

After some time, the runes moving on the heart gradually stopped. As the last rune ceased, the runes merged into the heart, which became increasingly bright and fiery!

Yun Chuan was completely immersed, sensing the spirit of Fire, the will of Fire, the essence of Fire…

It felt as if he had become all the fire in the world!Where there is fire, there is him!

Where fire exists, so does his existence! An incredibly wondrous feeling.

At this point, the runes had fully merged into the heart, forming a crystal-clear blood-red heart in Yun Chuan's perception. It was like a blood-red crystal, beautiful and warm, radiating a faint glow.

Before he could indulge, the crystal-red heart suddenly blazed brilliantly! It throbbed with a "bang, bang" rhythm.

A phantom Five-Element ring appeared within Yun Chuan's body.

The fire representing the Fire element suddenly split, extending toward the Earth element.

These two were like dry tinder and blazing fire—instant ignition!

The Earth element, stimulated by Fire, began to undergo intense transformation.

The spleen, representing Earth, rapidly grew with the assistance of Fire, forming the shape of a miniature mountain. From the size of a grain of rice, it suddenly expanded to fill the entire spleen, seeming illusory yet perceptible, then abruptly froze.

It gradually transformed into deep yellow runes on the spleen's surface, emerging and moving…

Yun Chuan sank into contemplation once more.

Upon emerging from this reflection, the deep yellow runes merged into the spleen. He entered the same wondrous state as before, only now it was Earth instead of Fire.

Yun Chuan felt as if he had become the Earth itself.

Vast!

Ancient!

Majestic!

Countless beings lived upon his body. He silently provided nourishment for all life, rejoicing for the virtuous and angered by those who recklessly destroyed the land!Feeling the weight of Earth!

The compassion of Earth!

At this moment, the deep yellow runes fully merged, forming a crystal-clear spleen, resembling the finest yellow gemstone, glowing faintly.

The Earth element, like the heart before it, emitted energy along the Five-Element ring toward the lungs.

The Metal element, stimulated by Earth, also rapidly grew.

Soon, with a "boom!"

Yun Chuan experienced another wondrous state.

Sensing the invincibility of Metal!

The strength of Metal!

The perseverance of Metal!

The unyielding spirit of Metal!

The lungs, now transformed into white crystal, emitted a Metal attribute along the Five-Element ring toward Water.

Stimulated by Metal, the Water element quickly transformed the kidneys into black crystal.

Then Water moved along the ring toward Wood, forming a green crystal liver with its assistance.

Through the cycle of mutual generation and restriction among the Five Elements, Yun Chuan could feel constant changes occurring within his body and mind.

The five crystal-like organs radiated different colors:

White—rigidity.Red—fire.Black—flexibility.Green—vitality.Yellow—stability.

The Five Elements generated continuous energy flows that purified and refined his physical body. He could feel the elemental power of each organ affecting the body differently:

Metal strengthened the body, making it indestructible.

Fire filled the body with boundless explosive power.

Water made the body flexible and elastic.

Earth made the body denser and more solid.

Wood invigorated the body, making it resilient and regenerative like a cockroach!

The elemental forces endlessly purified Yun Chuan's body and mind, leaving his spirit calm and his consciousness extraordinarily clear! The passionate Fire, gentle Water, steadfast Metal, solid Earth, and vibrant Wood.

They were like playful children, running rampant inside Yun Chuan's body, while enlightenment reverberated deep in his soul…

Time passed imperceptibly, its duration unknown.

When Yun Chuan finally opened his eyes,

the entire world had changed!Previously, he had been like someone with thirty-thousand-degree myopia, no different from a blind person. Now, he felt like a newborn, seeing the world for the first time, curious about everything around him.

"Could it be that to those legendary immortal gods, the world truly looks like this…" he wondered, examining his surroundings, feeling as if he had glimpsed the world's true form for the first time! The sensation of being sober in a world drunk with illusion was simply exquisite.
