Chapter 100 - The Foundation of the Inner World

After figuring out his own advantages—

Yunchuan also became calm regarding the disappearance of his spirit rings. It was just a few lousy spirit rings. If they were gone, then so be it.

Sorting out his thoughts, he once again shifted his gaze toward the small chaos-colored hammer in his hand. Looking at this hammer that had completely changed its appearance, he felt that its original name could no longer be used.

After all, that previous name filled with excessive chuunibyou—"Heaven-Shattering Earth-Splitting Thunderbolt Flash Blazing Flame Supreme Clear Sky Hammer"—was mostly because the hammer spirit had too many exaggerated special effects.Giving it that name had mainly been a form of self-mockery.

But now that the hammer spirit had become low-key and restrained, continuing to call it that ridiculously long name was obviously inappropriate.

He needed a new name.

What should he call it?

Chaos-Extinguishing World-Destroying Divine Hammer?Two-Essence Heavenly Gang Supreme Divine Hammer?Void-Shattering Myriad-Laws-Dominating Hammer?Heaven-Emperor Supreme Ultimate Annihilation Divine Hammer?

No, no—too chuunibyou.

Yunchuan repeatedly shook his head.He felt that he was no longer the same person he used to be.He had to choose a name that was low-key yet meaningful. Besides, a longer name didn't necessarily mean it had more presence. All of the above still felt too chuunibyou and too flamboyant.

"Forget it. Why not return to simplicity and just call it Hàotiān Hammer."

In the end, Yunchuan made his decision. He felt that only this gray, chaos-colored hammer in his hand qualified to be called the Hàotiān Hammer. As for Tang San and Tang Hao's hammers, they weren't worthy of bearing the name "Hàotiān."

After all, the term "Hàotiān" in ancient Chinese culture literally referred to the heavens themselves. Thus, those two simple characters actually symbolized an omnipotent Creator God—the Maker of All Things.

Hàotiān Hammer… the hammer used by the heavens. If it couldn't casually annihilate a world, how could it dare use the name Hàotiān Hammer?

"My other spirit—how is it?"

Putting away the chaos-colored Hàotiān Hammer spirit, Yunchuan recalled his other spirit—the Life Goddess Spirit. He wondered what it had become after his transformation.

The moment he thought of this—

A burst of multicolored radiant light suddenly illuminated the entire cave!A noble and elegant goddess manifested before him.

Yunchuan examined his Life Goddess Spirit and discovered that its appearance hadn't changed much—still a stunning blue-haired, blue-eyed beauty. But the verdant green long dress she originally wore had become a shimmering multicolored gown. Its surface displayed mountains, rivers, sun, moon, and stars—seemingly containing all things within creation!

"Right now, I've stepped out of the soul master framework. I no longer need to absorb spirit rings to become stronger. So my spirit itself isn't that important anymore. Of course, that doesn't mean it's useless. For example, my hammer spirit can be used as a life-bound treasure. But what use does this Life Goddess Spirit have now? A separate incarnation outside the body?"

Looking at the Life Goddess Spirit, whose form was condensed to the point of being nearly physical, he pondered. He felt that he might figure out other uses for it in the future, so he didn't dwell on it.

"These remaining ores should also have their uses. I can't waste them."

After withdrawing the Life Goddess Spirit, Yunchuan turned toward the large pile of rare ores remaining inside the cave. He targeted a relatively small piece and tried to pull it toward himself with soul power. But the moment he attempted this, the ore trembled and—floated up on its own, slowly drifting toward him.

This strange scene stunned Yunchuan. Then he suddenly realized—

"Is this telekinesis? Spiritual power materialization? Or simple thought-control over objects?"

Yunchuan couldn't figure it out, so he simply named this ability Mind Power—meaning the power of one's thoughts, using intent to control objects.

Looking at the human-head-sized stone floating before him, Yunchuan didn't hesitate. He raised his right hand, forming a hand-blade, and chopped down—Crack! The stone's outer shell shattered into dust, revealing a walnut-sized, faintly purple core.

Because of Mind Power, he didn't even need to use his hands. He simply opened his mouth, and the purple core flew into it.This time, however, the rune between his brows showed no reaction.

Before he could spit it out, he felt the crystal-like organs within his body simultaneously emit light—five lights of white, yellow, red, black, and green, representing the Five Elements. The radiance converged, illuminating his entire body—and the purple stone in his mouth liquefied under the glow and melted into every part of him.

After absorbing the faint purple stone, Yunchuan silently felt the changes in his body. While his physique didn't become stronger, the purple stone seemed to contain something his body inherently needed—filling in a kind of internal "deficiency."

"Why do these extremely rare ores have such effects on me?"

Yunchuan didn't know, but he guessed:

Perhaps these naturally-formed mystical ores each contained some kind of unique law, principle, or Dao belonging to this world?

Like the five ores he had absorbed earlier—each representing a different Five Elements Law or Dao.

Therefore, what he absorbed wasn't the ore itself, but the "law" and "Dao" within it.

If so, it explained why even though they were merely minerals, he could absorb them and receive tremendous benefits.

"If these unique ores work… then other unique things, like immortal herbs—or even spirit rings from spirit beasts! If I absorb them, will they also benefit me?"

Yunchuan suddenly had a bold idea, and he couldn't wait to experiment.

Looking at the remaining large pile of ores—

Yunchuan felt that breaking and eating them one by one would be too troublesome. He wondered:Could he use Five Elements Force to directly dissolve the ores outside his body and then absorb them?

With that thought, he began channeling the Five Elements Force—not converting it into soul power, but using the pure Five Elements Force originating from his organs.

He slowly extended his right hand—five fingers spreading open.

White, yellow, red, green, black—Each fingertip ignited with a different colored glow.

The five colors converged and radiated outward—enveloping all the ores piled within the cave.

Under the Five Elements radiance, rays of various colors emerged from the strange ores—red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple, black, white—countless colors, shimmering brilliantly.

Only after every ore had released its unique light—

Yunchuan withdrew the Five Elements Force. The five-colored light swept the multicolored rays together and returned to his body—like ten thousand streams flowing back to the sea.

He couldn't help but close his eyes, silently savoring the feeling of his internal "deficiencies" continuously being filled.

The brow-rune began emitting strange waves, helping him refine the lights entering his body.Centered around his five organs and the Five Elements, the multicolored lights blended into various parts of his body—like constructing a building—gradually completing the framework.

A long time passed.

When Yunchuan finally understood all the changes inside his body, he opened his eyes. Those previously strange and beautiful ores had become nothing more than a pile of shattered debris—true garbage.Their cores had already been refined into pure essence and absorbed, leaving behind empty shells.

After fully absorbing the essence of the ores, Yunchuan didn't feel any huge boost in power. At most, his body felt more solid and more balanced. No new special abilities appeared.

But he understood—this didn't mean he gained nothing.Quite the opposite.

These multicolored essences didn't directly strengthen him—they fortified his foundation, deepened his heritage, and prepared him for his future goal:

Creating his Inner World. They were laying bricks for that future.
