Chapter 137: Obito's Malice
After deceiving Zetsu and sending him away, Yasushi left the room, planning to find Orochimaru and cause trouble for Sunagakure together.
But as soon as he stepped out, he saw Obito standing in the corridor, laughing sinisterly.
Before Yasushi could say anything, Yashiro and the others immediately became alert, protecting Uchiha Sachi behind them, leaving not even a crack exposed.
"Hehe, why so tense?"
Seeing Yashiro and the others' rigid expressions, Obito felt immensely satisfied. He deliberately rose on his tiptoes, trying to peer around them at the person behind.
"Yasushi, your behavior is too childish! How dangerous is the shinobi world right now?"
"One careless moment, and this brother you just revived will die again."
"Then you brothers will have barely reunited for a few days before facing separation by death once more, parted forever."

"Hmph! Sachi's safety is mine to protect, no need for your concern!"
Yasushi snorted coldly, his eyes revealing the Mangekyo pattern as he stared at Obito with threatening intent.
"No one can harm Sachi in my presence!"

"Is that so?" A cruel smile appeared at the corner of Obito's mouth. His body instinctively wanted to activate Kamui, but his form only wavered slightly before he forcibly stopped the motion, his face turning ashen.
"Oh my!" Yasushi couldn't help but laugh mockingly, dispelling all the dark atmosphere on his face.
"Haha... Obito, you should find a way to clean out those Parasitic Destruction Insects from your Kamui dimension! Otherwise, such a powerful spatial technique is just wasted. What a shame!"
"Uchiha Yasushi!" Obito's anger immediately flared up again as he shouted, "I clean them out once, and you put more in! What's the point of this?"
"Huh?" Yasushi's face immediately showed shocked surprise. "How is that possible?"
"Those Parasitic Destruction Insects are nanoscale poison insects only Aburame Torune could cultivate. How could I breed such things?"

Obito glared at Yasushi through gritted teeth, knowing full well these incidents were definitely Yasushi's doing, but he couldn't find any evidence. He could only swallow his broken teeth with blood, forcibly enduring it.
"Hmph!" He snorted coldly, his gaze shifting toward the people behind them, his threatening intent abundantly clear.
After scanning once to clearly express his malice, Obito turned to leave, but then heard Yasushi speak from behind.
"Ah, Obito, I forgot to tell you something."
"The Uchiha gained another clan member—it's Hiruko!"
"You don't know yet, but after he absorbed Kakashi, he gained Uchiha clan genes. Now both his eyes are Sharingan!"
"What?!" These words struck like a thunderbolt, completely stunning Obito. "What do you mean absorbed?"
"I mean eaten and fused into his stomach—that kind of absorbed!" Yasushi said with a broad smile.
"On the way back, we happened to pass by Konoha Village. I figured since we weren't doing anything anyway, why not help Hiruko increase his power? It would benefit our Akatsuki's grand plan too!"
"So we extracted Kakashi and let Hiruko absorb him."
"That battle was quite dangerous—even Jiraiya came chasing after us!"
Yasushi described the detailed process vividly, and Obito's face grew paler and paler.
"Uchiha Yasushi, I'll kill you!"
The string in Obito's mind finally snapped. The Mangekyo in his eye spun wildly as he charged forward like the wind, clapping his hands together.
"Wood Release: Cutting Technique!"
The half of his body supplemented with White Zetsu immediately turned wooden. A sharp branch rapidly grew from his palm like a spear, stabbing straight toward Yasushi.
Yasushi didn't even dodge. He also clapped his hands together, responding in kind.

Yasushi's body didn't turn wooden, but the Hashirama cells he possessed were more potent than White Zetsu cells. The branch spikes he generated were naturally thicker and sharper.
Like mirror images, both used the same jutsu simultaneously, attacking each other.

But Yasushi and Obito were both exceptions.
Yasushi relied on the tremendous healing ability of his Yang Release, while Obito depended on the White Zetsu-supplemented half of his body.
Two wooden spikes crossed in midair, their barbed tips both precisely targeting each other's hearts.

In the instant before impact, both involuntarily shifted their bodies, moving their hearts out of the way before allowing the spikes to pierce from the side and exit through their backs, bringing up fine sprays of blood.
Yasushi deliberately chose the half of Obito's body not supplemented by White Zetsu, so both of them sprayed blood profusely, drenching each other from head to toe.
But Yasushi didn't care at all. Instead, he firmly grabbed Obito's hands, clamping them like iron pincers, shouting gleefully.
"Right now! Kill him!"
Shadows flickered behind him. Yashiro and two others simultaneously appeared behind Obito—one blade stabbing at his head, one slashing at his neck, one piercing his leg. All targeted the flesh half of Obito's body.
"You're asking for death!" Obito startled, instinctively activating his Kamui ability again.
But the moment he phased, a swarm of Parasitic Destruction Insects rushed toward him inside the Kamui dimension.
Poison insects within, powerful enemies without. In that critical moment between life and death, Obito's mind finally cleared.
Looking at his hands firmly gripped by Yasushi, he immediately made his decision.
Full body phase!
The instant he phased into the Kamui dimension, he blocked his head with his right hand.
His right side was supplemented with White Zetsu and could be discarded and replaced at any time, but his head couldn't be contaminated by the poison insects.
In the instant he blocked the Parasitic Destruction Insects, Obito's left hand immediately grabbed his right arm and yanked hard, tearing this wooden limb off and tossing it to the ground.
Simultaneously, his feet moved rapidly, running toward the other side of the Kamui dimension space, away from the Parasitic Destruction Insects.
No blood flowed from the severed limb—only a few wooden fibers hung on by threads. The moment the arm hit the ground, it immediately turned purple at a visible rate.
Then those Parasitic Destruction Insects crawled along the Kamui dimension's floor like a tide, surging toward Obito once again.
"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!"
Obito immediately formed hand seals and exhaled, spewing a fire dragon that repeatedly incinerated those insects until they were completely burned away, finally allowing him to relax.
By this time, his right arm had regrown as well.
