Chapter 184 - Chapter 185

Chapter 185: This Must Be a Dream!

"Yo, Obito, look who I brought to see you."

Zetsu's voice came from outside the door, but Obito inside lay collapsed on the bed like a dead dog, motionless.

His entire face twisted and convulsed. Drool flowed streaming down from the corner of his lips—as horrifying as a rabies patient.

"Obito..." A clear voice sounded from the doorway, the voice full of worry and concern.

Obito didn't need to look up to know—that must be Rin's voice.

"Hehe..."

Obito laughed with a neurotic quality, his body twisting crookedly as he sat up from the bed. Looking at "Rin's" familiar face, tears uncontrollably streamed down.

"Obito..." Rin opened both arms, running toward Obito.

Who knew Obito would suddenly charge up like a mad dog. His arm swept up, piercing through the body of this "Rin" at the door.

Blood flowed down along Obito's arm, covering his face, mingling with his tears to roll down together.

"Fake, all fake!"

Obito shouted loudly, viciously throwing the "Rin" in his hands to the ground.

"This is all a dream!"

"A nightmare!"

"Uchiha Yasushi, you're so vicious!"

Sure enough, with "Rin's" fall, the surrounding environment twisted and shattered again, transforming back to its original appearance.

No blood, no corpse—naturally no Rin either.

The awakened Obito curled on the bed, holding his head with both hands, weeping bitterly.

Even though what he killed was a fake "Rin," the pain in his heart still didn't diminish by half.

Not knowing how long he cried, the sky gradually darkened again. Footsteps sounded outside. Zetsu's cheerful voice came from outside the door once more.

"Yo, Obito, look who I brought to see you."

The door opened. Zetsu's figure appeared at the entrance, holding someone in his hands. She looked haggard, her vitality very poor, but without doubt—that was the "Nohara Rin" Obito longed for day and night!

"Hehe... hahaha..."

Obito laughed like a madman, laughing until tears came out.

He extended his finger pointing at "Rin," the muscles on his face twisting and convulsing—looking exactly like a lunatic.

"Obito..." Rin stepped forward worriedly, her gaze hesitant, obviously somewhat at a loss.

She couldn't quite decide whether to take this opportunity to simply commit suicide and completely escape Yasushi's control.

But she didn't need to do anything. Obito had already made the choice for her.

Obito suddenly rose, charging over like a whirlwind.

Rin subconsciously opened both arms, wanting to embrace Obito. Who knew fierce light would blaze in Obito's eyes. His arm swept up, piercing through her body.

Obito's arm angled upward diagonally like a thick flagpole. Blood once again flowed down his arm, once again covering his face.

"Fake, all fake!" Obito screamed loudly, blood mingling with his tears rolling down.

"Obito..." Rin looked at the crazed Obito, subconsciously reaching toward him, wanting to say something. But ultimately she just smiled, her small hand gently falling on Obito's eyes, lightly brushing downward, using a gentle voice to softly comfort:

"This is fine too."

"Just treat this as a dream. Close your eyes and sleep. After the dream ends, nothing will have happened."

"No one will use me to threaten you anymore."

"You won't have to go against your heart doing those painful things."

Obito's whole body shook, as if struck by lightning. His expression showed alarm and uncertainty as he looked at the person hanging on his arm.

But immediately, fury appeared on Obito's face. He reached out, throwing the person on his arm heavily to the ground.

"Uchiha Yasushi, what tricks are you playing!"

"Don't think you can deceive me!"

"I know—this is still a dream!"

"What big twist are you planning?"

"I'm telling you—I won't fall for your tricks!"

"I'll never fall for your tricks again!"

"Hehe... haha..."

Obito laughed excitedly, waving both arms, pacing back and forth in the room, waiting for the genjutsu space to shatter and restore to the room's original appearance.

But after walking several circuits, he only saw "Rin" on the ground convulsing all over, blood flowing everywhere, intestines and organs spilling out. He still didn't see the genjutsu space shatter.

An ominous premonition suddenly arose in his heart. This familiar feeling—could it be...

No way!

"No!"

"No!"

Obito suddenly stopped, holding his head with both hands, looking at "Rin" on the ground barely clinging to life.

Even dying, this "Rin's" face still wore that gentle smile.

Words he'd previously ignored suddenly flooded into his brain.

Obito's knees went soft. He knelt before Rin, tremblingly extending his hands toward her.

That glaring crimson stained both his hands, making him dizzy and disoriented.

Feeling Rin's chest had stopped rising and falling, Obito's entire person seemed about to split apart.

"Hehe..."

"This must be a dream!"

"This must be a dream!"

Obito screamed, both hands tightly holding his head, completely unable to accept the reality before him.

He'd actually killed Rin again!

After screaming several times, Obito suddenly awakened. He quickly raised his head, calling loudly toward the door:

"Yasushi, I know you're here!"

"You're definitely here, right?"

"Please, save Rin!"

He knocked his head forcefully against the doorway "bang bang," continuously begging.

"I'll do anything you want, just save Rin!"

"I beg you!"

"I beg you!"

Obito kowtowed with great force. After just a few times, his forehead shattered, blood flowing freely, mixing with snot and tears to flow down together.

"Hahahahahhahahaahahhaa!"

Amid Obito's pleading, Yasushi laughed wildly, making a grand entrance. Leaning against the doorway, he smiled theatrically.

"Obito, this time I didn't lure you into attacking!"

"You did it yourself!"

"You personally killed Rin!"

"I was wrong, Yasushi, I was wrong. Please, I beg you!"

Obito rolled and crawled to Yasushi's feet, hugging Yasushi's legs with both hands, continuously crying and begging.

Yasushi looked down at this former behind-the-scenes mastermind big boss at his feet, now reduced to a pitiful appearance—like a pug wagging its tail begging the master for mercy.

"Come, kneel properly. Let your master put a dog collar on you first, then we'll discuss your mistress's matter."

Yasushi smiled and began forming seals. Obito, fearing delay in treating Rin would be fatal, hurriedly knelt straight, allowing Yasushi to brand the Caged Bird on his forehead. Throughout he didn't move a muscle, very cooperative.
