Chapter 1 - Act I Chapter I - The Heavenly Wing

Midnight in the mysterious land, the goddess had fought with many heroes and beings that are rumored to be on par with her as her existence and presence ruptured reality. Her wings came out. They were heavenly and shined brighter than the concept of light itself.

The Goddess had existed countless years and fought for peace and freedom and love. She fought endlessly through time and space. As she fought endlessly, she glared at the god-level threat heroes with omnipotent abilities.

"Heaven asks for peace… So answer this, what are you fighting for? What are you trying to achieve, you mortal heroes?"

"The world is fine as it is, if only peace existed, no war, no crimes, would life be the same enjoyable concept that's within existence? Or would it just be boring? Explain you damn goddess!"

The questions hung through the air above the goddess' head. Her silence would have proved the humans right, that is if she hadn't found an answer to the questions. The goddess glared at them seriously.

"Whether or not it is about the crimes and wars and such a concept that defines it, I don't care about it. It doesn't involve me, although I seek peace between the realms of heaven and earth and other special races in existence. The joy in people is what makes me happy. If there's any problems with the world, I shall fix it as a goddess."

Her words had hit the humans hard like a truck. They hesitated in speaking up, processing everything she had said. They glanced at her as they stood there in silence. One hero was brave enough to glare at her with eyes full of death and hatred. He had a smirk on his face, containing malice behind it.

"None of that matters Ms. Goddess, you have to understand that suffering, pain, crimes and war are normal in this world. You may believe in peace, but we believe in normalizati-"

He was cut off while his body flopped onto the dark crimson floor of this mysterious place. Blood squirted out of his half body that was cut in half. The Goddess had shot a glare towards him, in which resulted in death.

The other mages glanced to their right to see their commanding mage was split in half. Shock built up in their body. They had never seen such dangerous power and speed of an attack before. It was a threat to mankind, all of existence perhaps.

"You believed in peace right? So why kill him?" he said, trembling in fear.

"I killed him because beliefs aren't what you expected. This goddess may believe in peace, but I believe in mass destruction and absolute chaos!" The goddess' voice was different, it was some kind of absolute being or thing possessed by her body to kill others. It was deeper than usual.

"You're not the goddess… wait— don't tell me…" the fear built up quickly in the men as they stood there paralyzed. The "Goddess" had stood there with a smirk, her body changed into what is said to be chaotic and pure horror.

The mages glanced at it, and what they saw was something they weren't supposed to see. They stood there paralyzed, their souls left their bodies, then collapsed to the floor, lifeless and motionless. They had died from this unknown existence. This 'thing' laughed manically as it glanced at the horrified and traumatized mages. The mages were known as the 7 Heavenly Guardians. They stepped back in fear, and it glared at them once more.

"Don't think of running away! I'm the Demon King! The Strongest of them all!" it appeared to be the Demon King. He shouted with a smirk.

The 7 Heavenly Guardians moved away as they trembled, but then, they were gone. They don't exist now. The Demon King laughed manically as he stood there, having complete control over the Goddess' body.

5,000 Years Later, Rumian Kotegari had sat down on his chair in front of his desk at home. Rumian had turned his computer on, and started watching some videos with headphones on. He yawned and his eyes started drooping, causing him to fall asleep on his computer.

A few hours goes by, the world trembles as an Earthquake happens. Rumian woke up from it, felt the shaking and left the house.

"Huh… another Earthquake, starting to happen a lot frequently now." Rumian yawned and stretched out his limbs outside under the midnight starry sky. He stood there waiting for the earthquake to be finished, but then a bright headlight from a car came by.

He glanced over noticing the car, seeing the car swerving into his place. Rumian's eyes widened and didn't have time to react, which led the car to hitting Rumian into his wall. It was a drunk driver that hit him and drove away.

Rumian then bled from his forehead as he got flung through his window, then having shards of glass in his torso. He laid there in agony as he bled to death.

What… just happened? It all happened so fast.. Rumian thought to himself as he stayed down in his pool of blood. He hadn't thought much. His heart was slowing down, major organs and intestine damage and his brain was shutting down.

Shit— this is it then… I didn't get to complete college nor find myself a girlfriend, although that wouldn't have mattered anyway. His mind became clouded with darkness and negativity while his vision was blurry.

His vision soon faded into darkness, then he could feel his soul being transferred to somewhere else. Although he wasn't completely sure, he could feel that his body and mind had given up on him. Then Rumian woke up, he was in a crib. He noticed it immediately the moment he opened his eyes slowly. He was unsure of the situation he is now in. Rumian's eyes widened, seeing the immediate changes of his limbs and environment.

I feel lighter, my limbs… feel smaller! Where am I? There were questions in his head that floated around. He was unsure, until he glanced down, feeling like he is missing something that is apart of his body.

Wait— am I? There is no way! I'm a girl now?! Rumian had shouted in his head, now leaving more unsolved questions about his situations. His parents, Mark and Mitsuki Kotegari, came in to check up on him.

Well shit…. She cursed in her mind as she noticed her parents. She sighed quietly as they both walked to her crib.

"Good morning Itsumi! How did my little sweetheart sleep?" says Mitsuki as she glows brightly, smiling. Mitsuki glanced up at her and her father, as she tried to speak. Mitsuki stirred around in her crib with her hands up, asking for something.

"Uppies Itsumi? You want uppies?" Mark asked with a smile as he picked her up. Itsumi smiles and giggles cutely as she's been lifted up from her crib.

Itsumi laughed, and cried as the day went on. Itsumi played and slept, enjoying her time.

19 years later, Itsumi had grown tall, more gentle. Itsumi left the academy and walked straight home as she read her book on magic. She continued reading and walking, then heard bone crunching noises in the alleyway. She glanced over, and noticed what was truly happening.

Itsumi walked through the alleyway as she put her book away and glanced at them.

"Hey. What's going on?" Itsumi asked the robbers with a gentle tone. They looked over to her direction and smirked. They walked over to her, towering above her and their smirk grew wider.

"What's a young lady doing out here? Trying to get her ass beat too?" He stood there smiling while Itsuki's calm demeanor stayed. The man was confused, her demeanor is as calm as water.

"Leave the lady alone. She's only a young one." Itsumi sighed and stood in front of them, not fazed about their intentions.

Her demeanor angered him and Itsumi glanced at the young girl who was sitting there crying, bleeding from her nose.

Broken nose… bruises and scratches… I see. Itsumi analyzed the young girl and glared back at the men. Itsumi puts down her bag, and they glance at her, ready with their hands up, feet at the back.

"Ready to get your ass be-" Itsumi had cut him off as she roundhouse kicked him on the side, sending him towards the wall.

"Why you!" He shouted. He winded up his punch, but was counterattacked with an elbow to the stomach then a sweep kick to the legs, causing him to fall on the ground.

The young girl held her shattered and bloodied nose as she watched what's going on. Itsumi dodged the attacks from the group of men with ease and pinned one down with such force, it had knocked them out. It was an abnormal amount of strength.

The group of men glanced at her, shocked and filled with fear as they stepped back.

"Holy shit! She's strong as hell! Let's retreat!" said the man as they retreated. Itsumi walked over to the young girl, and squatted down.

"Hey little girl, did they harm you anywhere else besides the nose? Where's your parents?" Itsumi asked politely with a smile as the young girl sat there against the wall.

The young girl was actually deaf, she couldn't hear anything, so she used sign language. "My side hurts a bit and my parents are at work, they couldn't pick me up they said." She signed as Itsumi watched her.

Ah… so she's deaf, alright then. Itsumi thought to herself as she sighed. Itsumi uses sign language to interact with the little girl.

"I see, let me take you to the hospital, just don't walk home from wherever you're coming from alone ok? Itsumi signed as her smile grew wider. Itsumi carried the little girl and walked to the hospital.

The little girl nodded as she's being carried. Itsumi arrived at the hospital a few minutes later and the nurses and doctors came running out seeing the injured girl.

"Is she ok?" said the nurses with concern and worry in their tone of voice.

"Shattered nose, bruises and scratches. She's deaf so make sure to interact with her with sign language or paper." said Itsumi with a calming and soft voice.

The nurses nod as they go back inside to tend to the little girl's injuries with the doctors. Itsumi watches them go back inside and waves as she leaves. The sun started setting, then Itsumi headed home. She yawns and stretches as she continues to walk.

Today's been a long day… pretty exhausted. Itsumi's thoughts are calm as she arrives home and takes off her shoes. She put her shoes inside and went upstairs as her parents were in their room with their door locked.

Itsumi glances at their door, confused about it as she hears their TV on. Itsumi puts down her bag in her room and knocks on her parents' room.

"Mom? Dad? I'm home!" says Itsumi calmly as Mitsuki unlocks the door. Smoke comes out of the room as Itsumi immediately notices this.

She takes a glance inside of her room, and immediately notices that it's just her, but she feels off about the room.

"How was work, mom?" she asks as she enters the room. Mitsuki glances at her with confusion and tries to hide a fact from her with a smile.

"It went well darling!" says Mitsuki with a suspicious, but not so obvious smile on her face.

Itsumi analyzes the room with her [Analyze] Skill and the more she examines, the more things she has found, like footprints. Itsumi started becoming suspicious about what's happening while she was out doing work in school and helped a girl out. Mitsuki glances at Itsumi, having questions flow through her head. Her face expression changed from a smile to a worried and concerned expression as Itsumi continued analyzing the master bedroom.

Smoke was flowing out of her bathroom, and as Itsumi went in, she noticed substances in the sink and under the sink and a man laying in the bathtub. Her eyes widened in shock as well as the man who was lying in the bathtub.

What the—?! Is my mom on drugs?? This is a serious crime! But… I don't want to jump to conclusions, I can't assume these are mom's, and who the hell is this guy?! Itsumi shouts in her mind as she stands there confused, stuck in a paralysis state for a second.

Itsumi left the bathroom and stood in front of Mitsuki as she avoided eye contact and worked on cleaning the room, while trembling in fear a bit. She tries to play it off and pretends it's nothing, but Itsumi glares at her with a calming gaze.

"Mom… can you explain to me about something?" Itsumi asks as she is having trouble processing the sight that was laid in front of her.

Mitsuki is startled and immediately stood up straight and turned her attention to Itsumi, sweat dripping from her face.

"Yes sweetie?" Mitsuki asks nervously.

"Who was that in the bathtub…? And are those substances yours…?" Itsumi asks with a bit of betrayal in her voice, confused and not sure.

Mitsuki stayed silent for quite awhile, and she let out a guilty sigh.

"Come here sweetie, I have something to tell you…" the guilt and sorrow was heard in her shaky voice.

Itsumi sat down on the bed with Mitsuki. She glanced at Itsumi, having trouble finding the words to say without making the situation worse.

"Sweetie… your father and I aren't doing so well, your father left me because of work problems. I work late, and your father cares about the money," says Mitsuki, trembling. "We've been working or at least… trying to work on our relationship, but nothing worked. He cared about his work more than the family we made." Mitsuki adds on as Itsumi listens on her bed.

Itsumi listens carefully, knowing there's more to just that. She sat there, gripping onto the bedsheets in confusion and a little bit of anger. Mitsuki could sense her anger and confusion and sighs in acceptance.

"That's why I have a man over while you were out doing your schooling, for these past few weeks, I've been struggling without your father. That's why the substances you saw in the bathroom were a way to cope, having a man to make me feel happy and substances are a way for me to cope with this… pain." Mitsuki's voice trembles more as she breaks down into tears.

Itsumi could hear the pain and fear in her mother's voice, and scoot over. She then pulled Mitsuki closer to her as she hugged her to comfort her.

"Mom… you need desperate help, like serious help. I'll try to find you a therapist." says Itsumi as she remains calm and accepts her mother.

"You're so smart Itsumi, you got it from me… it's nice really." Mitsuki responded with such pain as her tears fell down her cheeks, down onto her lap.

"But… It doesn't change the fact that I used cocaine and a man to keep me from falling so deep, and I have fun with the man. We drink and get drunk and high out of our minds… I made this choice, and I hate it so much, but it feels so… good at the same time..." Mitsuki mutters quietly to herself in that last sentence. Her guilt and fear and impulsiveness has grown more.

Itsumi continued hugging her as she put up a smile. There was silence for a while until the man came out of the bathroom naked.

Both Itsumi and Mitsuki glanced over and looked away quickly, covering their sight with their hands in embarrassment.

"Cover yourself up first babe!" Mitsuki shouts with embarrassment creeping up in her voice. The man went back into the bathroom to change, then came back out in fresh clothes.

Mitsuki and Itsumi sigh in relief as the man walks up to Itsumi. He sits down next to her, knowing he wouldn't be accepted as her step-father even after what Mitsuki confessed.

"So I would like to introduce you to Michael, he'll be your new father Itsumi. I know it isn't what you want, but it's what I hope we can get used to together and be a new happy family." Mitsuki smiles a bit, feeling a sense of relief that Itsumi accepted her as her mother still.

Itsumi glances at Michael and sighs in relief as well. She then put on a genuine smile.

"Nice to meet you, sorry about this, but it already happened. Now let's make some memories together ok Itsumi?" He smiled at Itsumi, feeling the guilt, but it wasn't too revealing. Itsumi glanced at him and nodded.

"Pleasure to meet you too Michael." she says respectfully as Michael and Mitsuki glanced at each other and nodded in agreement of the idea of change.

Michael stood up and stretched as he went down to the kitchen. Itsumi and Mitsuki glanced at his direction as they both stood up and followed him down. While Mitsuki followed down, Itsumi went outside to get the mail that was delivered to Mitsuki.

The mailman had walked away from the house, and glanced back before disappearing with a mysterious and malice aura. She sighed and fully disappeared through mist that formed around her body. Itsumi picked up the mail and went back inside the house to drop it off on the coffee table.

The lady who disappeared from Mitsuki's home, had arrived in the Underworld.

The Underworld or known as The Demon World, is a separate universe that is infinite in size, of its own space-time continuum while being governed by different laws, and has its own levels of rings known as layers. The Demon World is known to have 4 layers, each being infinite in size and is their own respective and independent universes (universal layers) and space-time continuums. There are Lesser Demons, Spiritual Demons, Abstract Demons and Higher Demons, and each rules over the different layers of the Demon World.

In the Underworld, the so-called "mailman" wasn't really a mailman, but someone else. As she entered the Underworld, her appearance had changed as she entered through a portal from the material world.

"Ah… Satan, it's been awhile. I have been lurking in that pitiful and disgusting material world." she said seductively as she walked towards Satan's throne.

"It seems you're here, one of the three Gorgons, what brings you to the Underworld?" says Satan as he sits tall on his throne.

"Found a special victim I can target. Her name is Itsumi Kotegari." she says with a very seductive tone. She had stopped in front of his chair with a smirk.

Satan glances at her with an amused expression on his face. He stood up, towering over her with a smile full of malice. She looked at him with curiosity.

"Good… very good indeed, we'll kill anyone who steps in our way, isn't that right… Medusa?" says Satan as there was a deep growl in his voice.

"Of course!" says Medusa, standing tall, while unfazed by Satan's abnormal height.

Medusa, one of the three Gorgons, was an abnormal and a myth of an existence. Her hair started moving around, which caused the other demons to panic. She was the monster innocent humans fear. Her hair was very snake-like and her body was demonically beautiful.

Months later, Itsumi continued training with magic, and then stretched. She went out to a café, and as she walked there, she heard a loud explosion in the far distance. She glanced over at the direction of the explosion and had vanished from thin air.

Itsumi arrived in seconds, and analyzed around with [Analyze] and the more she analyzed, she couldn't find anything but destruction. There was a large crater in the center of the City of Chronystele. A bullet was fired, breaking the sound barrier, but Itsumi had reacted and blocked the attack with her blade with ease.

Is it an arsonist? And the bullet that was shot… why would anyone do this here in Chronystele? Itsumi's thoughts remained calm as she continued analyzing, until she glanced at the direction from where the bullet was shot from.

Another bullet was fired, but this time, it was moving much faster than before. Itsumi had used her blade to block the bullet. She barely blocked it, almost getting hit.

Magic imbued bullets huh…? Interesting approach.. her thoughts were quiet. She stood up and charged into the direction, creating sonic booms in the air. Itsumi looked around, trying to find some clues on the shooter and where they are, until she notices a hole in an abandoned ceiling.

She went through the ceiling and hid on the second floor of the abandoned building. It had appeared it was a few cult members who were armed.

They were separated from each other as Itsumi jumped down silently. She started taking them out one by one by slitting their throats. Itsumi sighs in exhaustion, until another enhanced bullet is fired.

Itsumi dodged it in time and glanced at the direction and started sprinting to that spot. As she ran to the location, bullets were being shot. She blocked the bullets with ease after adapting to the speed and had finally arrived at the location.

It was an abandoned warehouse, but couldn't sense the presence of the shooter or the mana that's within the body of the shooter. She was left unsure. Itsumi examined the warehouse quietly and had set off a trap, which caused an angel-level axe to swing downwards. Itsumi noticed this and ducked as the axe swung by her.

An angel-level axe? A weapon that destroys the evil within supernatural existences like spirits and demons… how do they have access to these types of weapons? She was confused. One last bullet was fired by the shooter from above. That was when Itsumi noticed him.

She jumped and landed on him which resulted in the shooter dropping their magic imbued gun.

"Hey. Killing others huh? With a magic imbued bullet too, pretty smart if you ask me.." says Itsumi calmly.

The shooter glances at her and smirks as his appearance changes, revealing horns and claws and marks.

"You caught me… how surprising, not many people can catch up let alone figure me out." he says. Itsumi glances at him and slices his head off cleanly.

"Yeah well— it's not hard either…" Itsumi responds as she sighs and notices the mark on his body. She examines the mark with her skill [Analyze]. Her eyes glowed a blue-ish color, and as she analyzed it, she had gotten some answers.

Hm? This mark… so this demon is from the Underworld huh? I can tell someone had sent them to assassinate me… Itsumi had processed the information as she stood up.

Then, out of the blue, a large gust of wind had occurred while inside the abandoned warehouse. Itsumi shivers and glances behind her, noticing someone on the first floor. It was Medusa, one of the three Gorgons.

"Hello Itsumi Kotegari, I didn't expect to meet you here in this abandoned playhouse." said Medusa, with a malice smirk. Her tone was always seductive, using her charm and beauty against Itsumi.

She glares at her, and had immediately noticed her beauty, but then, Itsumi felt her body becoming weak.

What—? Come on body, don't give out on me.. could it be seduction magic? Maybe… I'll have to find a way to bypass it. Her mind becomes more strategic, analyzing everything around her.

"Aww~ how adorable, trying to adapt? Well you're idiotic if you think you can re-" she was cut off as Itsumi had appeared in front of her with her sword swung. Medusa had dodged her attack and glanced at her with her smirk widening.

"Such an interesting body… your adaptability is quick!" she shouts as she attacks with her hair flowing towards Itsumi like a snake. Itsumi dodges and slices her hair.

Damn… she must be Medusa.. one of the threeGorgons… Petrification is the one thing I should watch out for.. Itsumi's thoughts slowly become panicked, but she then charges towards Medusa again, and swings her blade. Medusa had counterattacked with petrification, petrifying Itsumi's blade.

As Itsumi drops her sword, she then tackles her down and takes out a dagger and slices her eyes, leaving her petrification useless.

"Ow! Fuck! You'll pay for that you little bitch!" she yelled in anger as she regenerated her eyes.

Damn! Regeneration too? She's a quick fighter, maybe quicker than I am… I'll have to kill her quickly. She thinks to herself as she swings her dagger going for her head. Medusa had headbutted Itsumi hard, causing Itsumi to get off of her and fall backwards, but Itsumi got back up.

Medusa tries to use [Petrification] but Itsumi has already recovered and sliced her head off. Medusa's head flew off completely, landing on the ground, blood splattering. Itsumi glances at her body and checks her body for any information she can use on the Underworld.

Nothing in her pockets. No information on the underworld, I'll have to find it somewhere in a library then. Itsumi thoughts calmed down after her fight with Medusa and left the warehouse.

Satan has been watching the fight of course, spying on Itsumi noticing her potential. He smirked with malice as the underworld trembled a bit from his presence.

"That city destroying snake had died fighting a girl. I underestimated you Itsumi, underestimated you indeed!" says Satan as he laughs. His laugh echoes through all of the 4 universal layers of the Underworld. It had seemed Satan's presence, if released completely, is enough to destroy the entire Underworld.

Itsumi had left the warehouse, and traveled to the swordsmith shop downtown in Chronystele. She walked a mile to get there, and as she arrived, she noticed the different swords the salesman was selling.

"Hey, I'd like to purchase a sword please?" says Itsumi with a polite smile. The salesman glanced at her and smiled back at her and picked up a sword.

"Will this work for you?" he says as he shows her the elegant long and sharp blade.

"Yes, that will work! Thank you!" she says as she smiles brightly. The salesman nodded as she paid for the sword and waves as she leaves.

"Good luck on your journey!" the salesman says as he waves back at her.

She then leaves the area and continues on with her journey. As Itsumi walked to the library, she noticed some eagles flying around as she continued walking. Itsumi arrives at the library and enters, then she looks for some books on the Underworld or scrolls through the internet.

Let's see… Itsumi clicks on a link showing the unknown world, and she starts reading it.

The Underworld or known as the Demon World by knowledge, is a place where demons live, it's hell basically and the opposite of heaven… Itsumi reads the news in her mind, and continues doing research on the Underworld.

After a few minutes of reading, she stood up and left the library. She yawns and stretches as she leaves to the train station underground. She purchased a train ticket and went into her train which leads outside of Chronystele. Itsumi sat down on her seat and waited until her destination arrived.

As she sat there, she drifted off to sleep while the train started to move. The train was a bullet train, it moved pretty fast through the underground tunnels.

A few hours later, she had arrived at her destination as she woke up and stood up then left the train. Itsumi left the train station and noticed it was nothing but a desert area.

"Yup… this is my destination alright." she chuckled nervously as she walked on the hot sand.

Itsumi first went to a store that opened up, and purchased some clothing, and as she purchased them, she started changing. Itsumi was now wearing a black suit with a black trench coat, white belt, leggings and gray high top boots.

Itsumi has her hands in her coat pockets as she walks into the desert which seems like it goes on endlessly. As she started walking, the desert started trembling as sandworms came out of the sand. It was high magic sandworms, ones that had the magic capacity to destroy entire cities and a full country.

She glanced at them and sliced them with ease, but they started regenerating at such a speed, it seemed abnormal. Itsumi notices this, and has realized, swords don't work on these creatures.

"[Soul Corruption]." Itsumi's magic on souls had erupted into the sandworm's soul. All the sandworms had then collapsed and died completely.

Normal sandworms don't have souls as they aren't living things and are controlled by magic, but high level magic sandworms like these do, like they have a spirit controlling them.

Itsumi started walking far into the desert, which revealed sand mountains and nothingness ahead. She continued walking through the hot desert on foot, but then she noticed a vehicle. As she walks towards it, she gets in and tries to turn it on, but it doesn't work.

"Huh… I have to hot wire this junk then." Itsumi starts hotwiring the buggy then it turns on. She smiles and starts driving it until she finds a city or something interesting.

As she continues driving on into the desert, she finally sees, after what feels like an eternity, a desert temple. She stopped the buggy and hopped out then walked inside.

"Hello?" she asks, yelling in the empty desert temple while examining it.

Itsumi continued walking through the desert temple, until she found a chest in the center. She was suspicious about the chest and looked around for traps. There wasn't any, so she walked towards it and opened it.

It was a potion of immortality. Her eyes widened and took it and gasped in shock.

"Immortality… one of the rarest things that could happen to anyone! I thought immortality was just a myth!" she shouts in excitement and leaves without it. She went back to the buggy, but noticed the entrance had disappeared completely.

Her eyes widened a bit and glanced around. Itsumi sighed and drank the potion of immortality, which now she can't die from old age.

Itsumi wipes her mouth, and she falls backwards and sees the entire temple is now upside down.

What the fuck?! This must be an abnormal temple… maybe a hyperspace? Whoever can manipulate hyperspaces can shift structures like this… her thoughts remained calm until she noticed a man in a cloak.

The cloaked man walked into the same room as Itsumi and glanced at her. Itsumi glances back at him and is confused whether he is an ally or enemy.

Itsumi uses [Analyze] but her analysis failed. It had seemed that the cloaked man had nullified her analysis.

Her eyes widened in shock and stood up. She stares at the cloaked man.

"What is this place?" she asks calmly.

"You are in my hyperspace dimension. The moment you entered here, you were already part of it." he says as he removes his hood.

"Let me out." she calmly responds.

"You'll have to fight me to get out." the cloaked man responded as he disappeared.

Itsumi notices his disappearance as her eyes widened in shock. She examines the room, and notices the temple has changed into a space-like dimension. The cloaked man had attacked her from above, but he was too fast for Itsumi to block or dodge.

The cloaked man had kicked her, sending her into different asteroids. Itsumi crashes through multiple asteroids and stands up and notices the blood dripping from her forehead and she wipes with her sleeve.

Damn… he's too fast, what magic is he using to move this qui- her thoughts ended as the cloaked man had appeared behind her and kicked her again.

She lands onto land which wasn't there in the space-like dimension before and coughs up blood a bit.

Holy shit! That's not enhancement magic… he's actually moving with just sheer speed alone! Her thoughts started running wild a bit as her heart beats quicker than usual.

Sweat drips from her forehead as he appeared in front of her already, but then he goes in for a punch but Itsumi had blocked his attack in time. His light speed movements were catching her off guard, but her body was slowly adapting.

"You're adapting fairly quickly.. interesting." says the cloaked man. H Itsumi had stepped back, but his movement speed was too much as they continued clashing hand to hand.

Itsumi finally threw a punch, and had finally landed it through strategy. The cloaked man was sent flying backwards and landed with no scratches.

Itsumi then vanished in thin air and appeared instantly and kicked him with immense force, sending him back into asteroids, causing him to bleed a bit. Her body was adapting quickly as he got up.

"Damn, nice, you finally landed a hit on me." he says with a smile.

His smile widens, but it wasn't malice, it was genuine as he snaps his fingers destroying his entire hyperspace dimension and putting the desert temple back to normal.

"That was a test." he says with a bright smile as he glances at Itsumi.

"A test…?!" she exclaims in shock.

The cloaked man nodded and chuckled. Itsumi glances at him with confusion and shock.

"You passed, you can leave now." he says as he guides her to the exit.

"What's your name?" she asks.

"I like to remain anonymous, sorry!" he says apologetically as he smiles more.

Itsumi sighs and gets into the buggy and waves at him as she drives away.

The cloaked man watches her leave in a buggy and sits down on a sand bench inside. He smiles and is glad that he fought someone like her.

"If I had used 1% of my power, I would've beaten her too easily. Hopefully she stays safe on her journey. With my abilities of manipulating space and time and dimensions on a universal scale, I could've just won too quickly. Glad I went easy." he mutters to himself quietly as he chuckles.

Itsumi continued driving in the buggy into the far distant land of the desert. She continues to drive, and notices a city in the distant, finally driving towards it as she yawns from exhaustion.
