Chapter 1 - Preface

Hey there,

I'm so glad you're here, and I truly hope you enjoy this story as much as I loved writing it.

"Transmigrated As A Succubus With A Homewrecking System" is the second book in The Fate of The Prodigal Trilogy. The other books in the series are:

— Transmigrated From Homewrecker To Hockey Star's Bride (ongoing)

— Reborn As A Demon Hunter After Doomsday (coming soon)

This trilogy weaves together three interconnected stories of rebirth and transmigration, playing with some of my favorite tropes:

- Sports Romance (Hockey)

- Marriage & Contract Relationships.

- Love.

- System Tasks.

- Second Chances.

The trilogy's title is a nod to the "Prodigal Son" parable from the Bible—a story about a lost soul finding redemption. That spiritual theme of grace and returning home is the heart of this project. I'll be honest, I was a little nervous about releasing these books, as it's my first time diving into transmigration and system-based novels.

But then I found my inspiration in an unexpected place: Taylor Swift's "The Fateof Ophelia." I loved how she reimagined Ophelia's story from Shakespeare's Hamlet, subverting the original tragedy into one where she is saved by love. That idea really resonated with me and gave me the final push to share this with you. These three books mean more to me than anything else I've written, and I'm crossing my fingers that you love them too!

A Few Key Notes:

- Stand-Alone Stories:

All three books can be read independently! However, if you decide to read the whole trilogy, keep an eye out for the Easter eggs and connections I've hidden between them.

- Update Schedule:

- Transmigrated From Homewrecker To Hockey Star's Bride: Daily updates starting in November.

- Transmigrated As A Succubus...: 3-4 updates per week in November, switching to daily updates in December.

Your support and excitement genuinely fuel my motivation and the story's momentum, so thank you for every read and comment!

- On Themes & Content:

This book does not glorify evil or condemn any religion. While it draws on spiritual allegories from my own faith to interpret the realm of demons and angels, it's a work of fiction meant for everyone. Please don't feel excluded by the biblical reference—the core message is about redemption and love.

- Content Warnings:

I'll do my best to note chapters with violence and gore, but I may occasionally forget. If you come across a scene you can't stomach, please feel free to skip it or drop the book if it's not for you. Your comfort is important.

- Romance Focus:

As the themes suggest, romance is a central, driving plot—not just a subplot. And for clarity, this is not a reverse harem story.

- Let's Chat! I'd love to hear from you. Your comments, genuine reviews (even the critical ones!), suggestions, and wild predictions for the next chapter are always welcome and so appreciated.

Thank you for reading all the way to the end. Now, without further ado, I hope you dive in and enjoy the book, xx!
