Passing through the portal, Anderson found himself standing in an open, flat green field that seemed to go for miles.
[Welcome to the Goblin Dungeon]
[First wave will begin in 5 minutes]
[Number of Enemies: 1]
[Wave 1 of 20]
"Five minutes... should be enough time to get used to my magic," Anderson said, sitting in the lotus position on the floor.
Closing his eyes, he tuned out the winds of the wind, the cool breeze, the gravity on his body. He focused solely on the energy he felt within him since waking up.
"It's cold...yet warm...like a fireplace during the winter," Anderson softly said to himself as he felt the mana.
Feeling the spiraling mana move inside of him, Anderson traced the path until he found the source, his mana core at the center of his chest.
"Now...to control it,"
Like commanding his hand to move, he urged the path of his mana to focus in his palm. As if second nature to him, the mana flowed into a single point in his palm. Releasing it, Anderson opened his eyes to see a large stream of dazzling green flames shooting from his hand.
"....A-amazing," Anderson spoke, the child-like smile of excitement plastered on his face.
[Remaining time 10 Seconds]
Standing up, Anderson dusted himself off and got ready. Once the timer hit zero, a pillar of pixelated light appeared ten meters from him. Slowly forming was a short green humanoid creature with a stocky build, dressed in crude leather armor, holding a club.

[HP: 100/100]
[Skills: Club Mastery{Lv.1}]
"Well, they seem stronger than the goblins from the show," Anderson said, looking at the goblin.
[That's because they are]
[Monster commencing attack]
The next moment, the goblin let out a yell of anger as it charged at Anderson.
"Alright, let's do this," Anderson spoke, holding his hand out.
As the goblin closed the distance, Anderon waited until the goblin reached the three-meter mark. Once he did, Anderson released a wave of flame magic.
Unable to defend against it, the goblin was hit with the wave of fire and stopped in its tracks. As the green flames burned the goblin, it also ate away at the goblin's armor, skin, muscles, and blood until all that was left was a small pile of ashes.
"Isn't that too strong for a skill that's level 1?" Anderson asked
[That's because the properties of the flame naturally ignore 50% of defense and burns until the intended target is dead]
"Well then...Thank Chaos for me," Anderson said with a grin.

"One enemy again...okay,"
Slightly curious, Anderson watched as the next goblin appeared. This one bearing iron armor, a short sword, and a wooden shield
[Lv.5 Goblin Warrior]
[HP: 250/250]
[Skills: Sword And Shield Mastery{Lv.5}/ Dash{Lv.5}]
This time, as the goblin was able to move, it looked at Anderson for a moment, studying him and the score earth around him. Not showing any emotion, the goblin didn't speak as it changed at Anderson.
Letting out a deep breath, Anderson watched the goblin closely. As it reached his range, Anderson fired a ball of fire, but then the goblin did something he did not expect. It threw its shield to meet the fireball head-on. As they connected, the shield exploded, and the smoke created a smoke screen.
Taking a step back, Anderson was caught off guard as the goblin appeared by his side, his short sword a few inches from his abdomen.
"Shit!" Anderson cursed as he fell back, as the blade barely missed him
Holding both his hands out, he used a large portion of his mana and fired a wall of fire towards the goblin. Trying to slash at the fire with its sword, the goblin was surprised to see that its blade was turning to dust as if it were rotting away. Dropping the sword, the Goblin took a step back.
But it was too late, as an ember had reached his armor, beginning to burn it away alongside the goblin that tried to shake it off.
Falling to the floor as a burning corpse, the goblin became victim to the never-ending flame.

"Damn, I got careless...I only survived because of the properties of the fire," Anderson sighed as a cold sweat ran down his face.
Thinking of the blade mere inches from stabbing his Anderson would not help but be frozen in shock.
"Pixel, stop here, open the gate," Anderson spoke, leaving the dungeon.
Apparing back in this throne room, Anderson sighed.
"Alright, I was too confident...I need to get a weapon. If an enie gets that close, I can't completely rely on my magic," Anderson said, opening the store and moving to the weapons section.
