Chapter 43 - Chapter 43: The Surprise Empress, Post-War Summary and Outlook

"Wow, my dear! This ship is so gorgeous! I love it!"

The Pirate Empress Boa Hancock woke up and found herself on an incredibly luxurious giant ship. Her deep blue eyes lit up with love as she looked around.

This ship was unlike any pirate ship or Marine warship on the seas.

In Hancock's words—it was breathtakingly gorgeous. And as a woman, she couldn't resist being drawn to glittering, beautiful things.

"Hancock, I'm glad you like it. This massive ship is my gift to you. It has everything—an indoor swimming pool, a private garden, a training room, a music room, and more!"

Victor took Hancock on a tour of the Titanic X, a luxury ship so grand that even he hadn't expected the system's reward to be this incredible.

It was no exaggeration—this ship was unprecedented in the pirate world.

"Really? This ship is ours now? You're so kind, Victor~"

The Pirate Empress's shy and charming expression nearly drove Victor wild.

What made him even prouder was that Hancock only showed this side to him. In front of anyone else, she remained the cold Empress. Any other man who dared approach her would be turned to stone instantly.

That feeling was beyond satisfying.

"But where did this cruise ship come from? I've never seen it before at Marineford!"

"Well... that's not important, Hancock. I have an even better surprise for you! It's right here!"

Victor avoided her question and led Hancock toward another area.

When she had been unconscious, he had already scouted the entire ship so that he could properly introduce it to her later. Despite its massive size, his speed made it easy to explore.

And during his tour, he discovered something any woman—especially Hancock—would dream of.

"Another surprise? What could be better than this ship?"

Hancock's deep blue eyes flickered with curiosity. To her, the Titanic X alone was already beyond belief.

But the moment Victor pushed open the door, Hancock froze, trembling. Her eyes widened, sparkling with excitement.

Before her stood a massive luxury shopping mall filled with endless racks of dazzling clothes.

A clothing paradise that belonged entirely to her—the Pirate Empress Boa Hancock.

What is love? This was love!

"Victor... thank you... I love you!" For once, Boa Hancock couldn't hold back.

Tears of emotion slipped down her perfect face. Having spent her youth protecting herself and her sisters, then rising as an untouchable Empress, she had never felt such warmth and sweetness—until she met Victor.

Overwhelmed, Hancock leaned in and kissed him.

Victor savored the taste of the world's most beautiful woman, reluctant to part for a full ten minutes.

At last, he pulled away slightly, still holding her hand as she rushed toward the endless rows of dresses.

"Victor, what's wrong?"

Hancock's pretty face flushed with rare shyness, her charm enough to drive any man insane.

"Hancock... there's one more little surprise. Let's head to the room first. I've prepared a soft mattress—perfect for practicing new moves..."

And with that, Victor carried the Pirate Empress Boa Hancock to their private chambers.

...

Marine Headquarters, Marineford

The war that shook the world had ended.

Marineford—the very island symbolizing justice—was left in ruins.

When Victor, the Whitebeard Pirates, and the Red Hair Pirates all withdrew, the battle was finally over.

In terms of casualties, neither side had a decisive victory. But in terms of meaning, the Marines had suffered a crushing defeat.

With their headquarters destroyed, Fleet Admiral Sengoku led the remaining elite Marines to temporarily relocate to G-1 Branch, where they prepared for a critical post-war meeting.

One of the main agenda points: the threat level of Victor, and the bounty to be placed on his head.

...

Meanwhile, Victor sat on the deck of the Titanic X. Hancock, tired but still thrilled, was off trying on new outfits, while he took a moment to summarize the war's aftermath.

He held a high-tech Smart Pointer—another system reward he had underestimated.

It could not only locate and navigate, but also automatically control the ship's course. Truly, a cheat-like tool.

The ship's current destination: Amazon Lily.

Originally, Victor had used the Smart Pointer to locate Luffy. As he suspected, Trafalgar D. Water Law had rescued Luffy and brought him to Hancock's island.

Victor still had things to say to Luffy, so it was the perfect destination.

Now, it was time to review his rewards.

Current Items:

Second Generation Kitetsu

300 million Berries

Power Pill ×1

Devil's Blessing ×0.5x

Titanic X

Smart Pointer

(Abilities like the Thunder Fruit, Poison Immunity, Mastery of Rokushiki, and Advanced Haki were already fully integrated into his body.)

Out of all these, his favorites were the Power Pill and Devil's Blessing.

He had tested the Power Pill personally—it worked wonders. And as for the Devil's Blessing…

If he collected one full dose, he could eat another Devil Fruit.

If he somehow collected ten, wouldn't that surpass even Blackbeard's unique body? The thought alone thrilled him.

Even more exciting, the system revealed that—aside from his direct skill rewards—he could gift other rewards to others.

The only exception was Devil's Blessing, which could only be shared with Hancock. But that was more than enough.

It meant Victor could make Hancock even stronger. Cultivating his Empress would be as thrilling as it was rewarding.

Then there was his sword. While his Thunder Fruit ability paired well with swordsmanship, the Second Generation Kitetsu felt mismatched.

Fortunately, after killing Shiryu of the Rain, he had claimed Thunderstorm(Raiu), Shiryu's blade. With a name like that, its compatibility with his powers was undeniable.

Finally, after witnessing the bonds of the Whitebeard Pirates and the presence of the Red Hair Pirates, Victor had made up his mind.

It was time to form his own crew—

A pirate crew led by Victor and Hancock.
