On this Thursday morning, Lucas and Francesco started to interview awakened who wanted to join the Helios guild again.
There were over 200 applicants planned to interview today.
Most of the applicants today were from different cities that came here for an opportunity to become stronger.
Many people lost their homes and people important to them to the monsters from the gates.
Since a lot of them had a lot of rage inside them, Lucas had to focus on the deeper part of their emotions that he could see with his Odin's Eye unique ability through mana.

After some preparations, the interviews started.
Lucas and Francesco interviewed a lot of groups of awakened applicants again for almost the entire day.
In the end they talked to around 250 people and hired 68 of them.
Lucas looked through the list of people he made from the new recruits.
Of the 68 recruits, 29 had a class.
Of the 39 without a class, 26 had a F-rank weapon mastery skill and 13 had no skills at all.
Lucas and Francesco soon met up with the strategy department to discuss what to do with all the recruits.
At the end they planned to have a few main teams with a reliable captain and members who had a class and a lot of smaller teams with members without a class yet.
Lucas would first decide how to organize all teams with members who had classes and after that the captains could recruit members from the smaller teams as soon as they get a class.
The smaller teams of members without a class yet would be organized by Francesco and the strategy department.
Francesco would do that starting today and Lucas starting tomorrow since he had another mission soon today on this evening.

After the meetings adjourned, Lucas left for Dielsdorf.
When he arrived with a large team from the logistics department, they were greeted at the city border by a small group of military personnel.
Dielsdorf didn't have an association branch, but a military squad was still dispatched here to help the citizens.
They were all very happy that Lucas came to help.
Apparently almost half of the city has already been taken over by monsters. The orcs from the C-rank gate did the most damage even though there aren't many of them.
Every awakened that was still in the city were keeping the monsters back in shifts so that the remaining citizens could escape.
They had recently heard that Lucas Strom was coming, so they were motivated once again.
Right before Lucas arrived, a big wave of over a thousand monsters charged at the defending awakened who had less than a hundred people.
They were all fighting for their lives against hundreds of F and E-rank monsters and dozens of D-rank monsters.
Luckily the orcs weren't here right now or they would be massacred.
Right when they were starting to lose control over the battlefield, dozens of monsters suddenly lost their lives.
The awakened of this small city could see Lucas, Krasbert, Grishna and Elara killing every monster in sight with ease.
Lucas also used fireballs in front of others for the first time. He decided to make them bigger so they would hit more monsters at once. The fireballs had less power, but they were still enough to kill multiple low ranked monsters.
After seeing the display of strength by Lucas and his avatars, the awakened of Dielsdorf gained strength again and started pushing harder.
After 30 minutes, every monster in sight was dead.
Lucas was relieved that it was over.
'Although it wasn't difficult for me, I prefer fighting a few strong monsters over fighting hundreds of weak ones. It's very annoying and time consuming.'
He was suddenly startled when every around him started cheering loudly.
"We did it!"
"Yeahhh!"
"Those damn monsters didn't stand a chance!"
"It's all thanks to the Helios guild master!"
"Yes! All hail Lucas Strom!"
They kept chanting his name and the guild's name for a couple minutes before they finally stopped from exhaustion.
They all sincerely thanked Lucas and some even asked to join his guild.
Lucas responded.
"No need for thanks everyone. And if you want to join the Helios guild, you can apply anytime. If you have concerns about not wanting to leave your home city, you can just wait until we build a guild branch here and then apply."
"Really? That's great!"
"Yes thank you sir!"
They exchanged some more words before Lucas said he had to take care of the gates and left.
They all looked at him in awe and admiration.
Once Lucas was in his car on his way to the C-rank gate, he looked at his system notifications.
'Elara reached level 14 and Grishna level 16.'
'I finally have enough avatar points, let's goo!'
Lucas now had 52 avatar points and couldn't wait to use them for his first B-rank summon.
Once he was close enough to the C-rank gate, he got out of his car.
A couple dozen orcs were already roaming around outside of the gate. Lucas summoned his avatars. This time including Ghost.
They quickly killed every orc that broke out and then entered the gate.
Once they were inside, it took them less than 30 minutes to eliminate every single orcs inside the gate, including the orc chief.
Lucas was very happy right now.
'This is the first time I have killed more monsters than Ghost. I am finally stronger than all my avatars. I wonder how strong the new B-rank summon will be.'
Lucas collected all the corpses while his avatars looked for materials.
Once they were all finished, they stood ready before Lucas and he finally decided to use his avatar points.
