Chapter 67 – A Painful Lesson

He had already inquired in advance. The rules at Shrek Academy were not very strict.

To encourage individuality among its students, the academy did not prohibit fights between students; in fact, once students reached the second year, such conflicts were sometimes even rewarded.

Because the academy deliberately indulged its students, the regulations concerning combat were almost nonexistent.

Rule one: no killing.

Rule two: No upperclassmen may initiate bullying against underclassmen.

Aside from that, everything else was left entirely to personal discretion.

As Tang San stepped into the shower room carrying a basin, Dai Huabin silently began timing in his mind. At the same time, he recalled how, just two days ago, Tang San had blocked his White Tiger Intense Light Wave using only his first spirit skill.

Feeling that relying on luck was far too risky, Dai Huabin suddenly pulled a small, exquisitely carved wooden box from his storage ring.

He opened it, revealing a pill of deep crimson that radiated an almost threatening aura from the center. Hesitation flickered across Dai Huabin's eyes.

This pill had been given to him by his mother. There were three in total, each capable of temporarily unleashing the user's cultivation to an explosive degree.

The purpose of this pill was simple: if he ever faced Huo Yuhao, he would finally have the power to personally defeat him, to exorcise the nightmare that had haunted his heart.

Such pills, however, carried severe side effects. Even though this one was far superior in quality to ordinary pills, consuming it would still affect the user's cultivation progress for a significant period afterward.

Should he use it on this guy?

The memory of Tang San's smug, detestable expression from two days ago flashed vividly in his mind. As the mental countdown in his heart reached its mark, a flash of ferocity gleamed in Dai Huabin's eyes.

"Three pills, huh? Then you'll be first!"

Without another word, he shoved the pill into his mouth and charged into the shower room.

----

After the cleanup was finished,

Huo Yuhao, taking a deep breath in the now-spotless dormitory, faintly heard dull noises from outside the door—sounds that unmistakably resembled a fight, fists striking flesh.

What's happening? Who's fighting?

The thought barely formed in his mind before a voice rang out from the corridor.

"Holy sh—! Everyone, come quickly! A naked guy is fighting in the shower room!"

"Seriously!?"

"...?"

What in the world...?

Hearing the murmurs outside, Huo Yuhao froze for a moment, his mind struggling to catch up.

Carefully, he peeked out toward the end of the corridor, toward the bathroom, only to find the doorway already packed with wide-eyed onlookers, some of whom occasionally gasped in shock.

Curiosity—and a sense of urgency—drove him to release his spirit perception. Instantly, the scene inside the shower room unfolded vividly in his mind, as if projected three-dimensionally before him.

There, a fully dressed youth with white hair covering his body was locked in combat with another completely naked boy, water droplets still clinging to his skin, whose martial Spirit appeared to be Blue Silver Grass.

Unfortunately for Huo Yuhao, he knew both of them.

The fully dressed youth was Dai Huabin.

The other, entirely naked and thrashing, was the boy from Heaven Dou City whom he had met several times before—and whom he suspected might be the reincarnated Tang San.

Bang!

Veins bulging along his neck, Dai Huabin let out a furious roar. The Blue Silver Grass vine that had restrained him shattered with a snap, and immediately, a massive tiger claw struck toward the naked Tang San.

Tang San's pupils contracted sharply. He had never expected that, in just two days, Dai Huabin's power would have increased so dramatically.

Something about this was clearly abnormal.

Suppressing the surge of panic, he barely blocked the strike with his Mysterious Jade Hands. His body was violently pushed backward, and the terrifying force shook his internal energy and blood flow into a turbulent roar.

Swallowing the metallic taste that had risen to his throat, Tang San bared his teeth, roaring at Dai Huabin:

"Dai Huabin! I didn't think you could be so despicable!"

Dai Huabin sneered, voice cold as ice:

"Two days ago, when you attacked me in the chaos, why didn't you call that despicable!?"

With that, he lunged forward again. His tiger claws whipped through the air, slicing with a deafening roar. He was determined not to give Tang San a single moment to catch his breath.

Indeed, Dai Huabin had timed everything perfectly.

Tang San was, as expected, unarmed while bathing, and the cramped space of the shower room prevented him from even using the Tang Sect's Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track.

Combined with the pill's effect, Tang San's three Blue Silver Grass spirit skills were completely ineffective against Dai Huabin's overwhelming strength.

After several exchanges, blood already trickled from Tang San's lips.

This couldn't continue!

Tang San faced two choices: he could either unleash the Clear Sky Hammer martial spirit or dash back to the dormitory for his hidden weapons.

After a brief moment of thought, he made his decision.

He would retrieve his hidden weapons.

The Tang Sect's Mysterious Heaven Skill, first rule: never let anyone who cannot be fully trusted see the extent of your true strength.

As a Tang Sect disciple, this rule was ingrained in Tang San's mind. He would never expose his trump card under the eyes of so many spectators.

In his previous life, he had once used hidden weapons in front of his teacher, Yu Xiaogang, while killing a Datura Snake; the immediate consequence was a frantic cover-up that compelled him to consider silencing his teacher.

Even if he could win now, killing Dai Huabin was impossible, and revealing the Clear Sky Hammer in front of everyone would be a foolish move.

Since his hidden weapons were already known, the optimal choice was to use them to defeat Dai Huabin.

Decision made, Tang San wasted no more time. Covering his important parts with a towel, he spun and dashed toward the shower room exit.

The sight of Tang San barreling toward them, his movements wild and unrestrained despite the towel, left the onlookers at the door in complete disbelief.

"Holy sh—! Don't come any closer!!!"

The impact of this scene on their young minds was catastrophic.

After a brief moment of paralysis, the youths, bright and cheerful as sunlight, seemed to witness for the first time the dark side of the world.

Frightened out of their wits, they shrieked and stumbled backward as if they had encountered a deadly plague.

"Trying to run!?"

Dai Huabin, fully aware of Tang San's intention, roared in anger.

But before he could pursue, Tang San's palms shot forth several strands of Blue Silver Grass, entangling the shower gel and other bathing items, hurling them at him in one swift motion.

Yet, the pills had amplified Dai Huabin's power; such trivial items had no effect. Seeing the two buttocks swaying in front of him, he immediately unleashed his second Spirit skill:

White Tiger Intense Light Wave!
