The caravan leader and the Reigai student were important targets, making it necessary to leave someone on guard.

"No problem! But please allow us to contact our captain or vice-captain after we return to the Seireitei," the Shinigami quickly agreed.
They didn't know what crime the Suzuki Company had committed and feared they would be locked up immediately upon their return, unable to contact anyone.
"You may." Yoruichi wasn't going to take them at their word. She had her subordinates stay alert and keep a close watch on them.
Yoruichi and the Onmitsukidō took the members of the Suzuki Company and the several 11th Division Shinigami back to the Seireitei.
Seeing the situation, the 11th Division members knew the Suzuki Company was in deep trouble and caused no issues on the way.
