"Professor, how do you know Cero Doble?"
Nelliel was amazed that Sora could swallow a Cero.
"I used Spiritual Pressure to strengthen my stomach, allowing me to spit the Cero back out," Sora explained briefly.
Cero Doble wasn't as simple as it looked. It used the stomach as a container to temporarily store the Cero.
This required an extremely strong stomach. Sora had now mastered the ability to strengthen his organs with Spiritual Pressure.
"Strengthen your stomach with Spiritual Pressure? That sounds complicated!" Nelliel didn't really get it.
Spitting back a Cero was an instinct for her; she didn't need to know how it worked.
"Professor is too strong. I have no hope of winning."
Nelliel felt her strength was on a different level after evolving, but she still couldn't figure out how strong her Professor was.
"You've already improved a lot. That new move you used was pretty good, very powerful." Sora nodded lightly and looked at his other disciple.
"I brought something today, something that can make you evolve into an Arrancar."
He had brought the half-finished Hōgyoku. After more than ten rounds of detailed testing, it was confirmed that using it to evolve Hollows had no side effects.
Harribel wasn't an Arrancar yet. It was time for her to evolve.
"Evolve into an Arrancar?" A ripple crossed Harribel's calm face. "Do you mean... the same way Nelliel evolved?"
Harribel and Nelliel had been together for over twenty years. She had, of course, asked Nelliel about evolving, but Nelliel just said the Professor helped her.
"It uses a higher-level power as a catalyst to make you an Arrancar." Sora took out the transparent, multi-sided box. The orb inside gave off a faint blue glow.
This Hōgyoku wasn't the one Aizen made. Sora had also mastered the technique.
After Aizen made his, Sora used Soul King fragments to make one too. This one used more fragments, and its power was greater than Aizen's.
Sora estimated his prototype Hōgyoku already had at least half the power of a complete one.
His Hōgyoku could affect Hollows from the outside. Aizen's still needed to be implanted inside a Hollow to work.
This was all thanks to the collections of the Shihōin and Tsunayashiro clans. If not for the Soul King fragments their ancestors left, Sora couldn't have made this prototype so quickly.
"What is that?"
Nelliel and Harribel gathered around, curious.
"The Hōgyoku. It can speed up your evolution." Sora thought for a moment. "Harribel is already at the limit of an Adjuchas, just one step away from Vasto Lorde."
"This time, she might evolve straight into a Vasto Lorde-class Arrancar."
"Really? Little Harri can evolve into a Vasto Lorde too!" Nelliel seemed even happier than Harribel about the news.
"Let's begin."
With a thought from Sora, the Hōgyoku floated out of the container.
It floated in his palm, giving off a dark blue glow.
Sora could feel the life inside it.
The Hōgyoku had its own consciousness; it wasn't a dead object.
Its consciousness was different from a normal being's. Sora couldn't talk to it directly.
But the Hōgyoku could understand the desires around it and make them real.
Sora reached out and closed his hand around the Hōgyoku.
Just then, threads extended from the Hōgyoku and pierced Sora's fingers.
The blue color inside the Hōgyoku slowly turned black.
The next second, the Hōgyoku released a blinding light that completely covered Harribel.
Harribel felt a rush of Spiritual Pressure pour into her body.
Sora's Spiritual Pressure was being poured into Harribel in a strange way.
If you keep pouring water into a full container, it will break.
Under the impact of the Shinigami power, Harribel broke past the Adjuchas bottleneck. Her Spiritual Pressure skyrocketed.
The white shell that covered almost all of Harribel's body began to show dense cracks.

The white shell on Harribel's body broke into small pieces and fell away, revealing her flawless brown skin underneath.
Most of the shell fell off. Her upper body was left with just shoulder armor, arm guards, and some shell covering vital parts of her chest.
The shell on her lower body fell away, leaving only a few pieces that formed a skirt armor.
The shell below that also fell off, revealing long, strong legs. It stopped falling when it reached her knees, leaving a pair of white, boot-like leg guards.
"Little Harri, your body is amazing!"
Nelliel moved closer and touched Harribel's hip line.
"Such strong power..."
Harribel clenched her fist. She felt stronger than ever before.
"Congratulations. You've evolved into a Vasto Lorde," Sora smiled.
Harribel was already at the limit of an Adjuchas. Now she had broken through and evolved into a Vasto Lorde-class Hollow.
"It's all thanks to your help, Professor!" Harribel knew this wasn't an easy step. Countless Adjuchas had failed to cross this line.
The system panel also showed a new message:

Received reward: 100,000 General Experience.
Received reward: Hirviendo.
Hirviendo was one of Harribel's signature skills. It could release high-temperature water to attack enemies.
Many of her other moves were variations of this skill, just different ways of using the hot water.
"Try to communicate with your inner self," Sora said with a smile. "Like Nelliel, seal your power."
"I'll try."
Harribel closed her eyes and focused.
She quickly found the instinctive ability, and her form changed.
The last bits of white armor and the large white sword in her right hand vanished, turning into a Zanpakutō.
"Don't catch a cold!" Nelliel blushed and threw a cloak over Harribel.
But in that instant, Sora confirmed the location of Harribel's Hollow hole.
"Hm..." Sora said calmly. "You are both Vasto Lorde-class Hollows now. You have what it takes to stand in Hueco Mundo."
He remembered there was a special mission he hadn't finished.
The "Birth of a New King" mission required him to raise a King of Hueco Mundo. This could only be done by taking control of Las Noches.
Barragan had been dead for years. Other Hollows had taken over Las Noches. Nelliel and Harribel needed to defeat them and take control.
