(KRYSTAL'S POV)
I'm still standing frozen with Raffaele a few feet away from me, half in shadow, half bathed in the golden light bleeding from the hallway behind him. His jaw's tight, his eyes sharp, the look on his face is unreadable. But the longer he stares, the more I feel the heat of it—that same dangerous, slow-burning intensity I clearly remember from the night he broke into my apartment.
Only now, I'm the one nearly naked.
My heart pounds against my ribs like it's trying to punch its way out. The cool air brushes against my bare skin, raising goosebumps all over my arms, my stomach, and my thighs. For a second, I wonder if it's fear making me tremble. Then his gaze drops, tracing the glitter on my skin, sliding lower over every forbidden inch, and I realize it's not fear.
It's him.
He's practically undressing me with his eyes. His jaw flexes, and his tongue slides over his bottom lip like he can already taste me.
