(KRYSTAL'S POV)
I'm still fuming as I storm down the hallway.
My chest feels tight. My hands won't stop shaking. Every step I take echoes too loud in my ears like the house itself is judging me for what just happened back there.
Raffaele. Fucking Raffaele.
I don't even realize I'm clenching my jaw until it starts to ache.
My phone starts ringing.
I stop mid-step and glance down at the screen.
It's Chelsea.
My heart jumps straight into my throat.
I look up and down the hallway fast, making sure no one's around. The last thing I need is Val or one of his brothers overhearing this conversation. I turn sharply and rush into the nearest guest bedroom, shutting the door behind me quietly.
I answer the call.
"Hey, Chels. What's up?"
There's a pause on the other end.
"B," Chelsea replies. "What's wrong? You sound shaky."
