Chapter 3 - %100

"I call you to think about it one last time, Eren. Your store has almost become one of Konoha's most important business magnets. If you need money, I can lend you as much as you want on the condition that you hand over the management of the store to the village in your absence, so you can take the vacation you want sooner and know that the store will be here waiting for you when you return, but if you make hasty decisions like downsizing your store, all your years of hard work could go to waste."

"I think I have given this enough thought, Hokage-sama. When I was young I felt compelled to make money, but as time went on I realized that I didn't need so much money and that I actually preferred the quiet. Besides, the pressure I created made it almost impossible to start a business in Konoha from nothing. I realized that I was unwittingly standing in the way of my sister and Minato's legacy, the growth of the village. Even after I return from vacation, I will keep it as a smaller store so that the same consequences don't happen again. Please don't let anyone monopolize one type of product, Hokage-sama."

Even though I spoke half truths and half falsehoods during the conversation, my emotional speech about the village managed to affect Hiruzen. He approached quietly, patted me on the shoulder, turned around and disappeared in the same silence.

I think I increased my credibility with Hiruzen quite a bit when I was just trying to make an excuse, though he always trusted me more because I wasn't a ninja.

With Hiruzen's departure, I didn't hesitate any longer and immediately went to the ninja mission center, which had just opened its doors. I posted a simple class D mission to try to find some ninja to help me transport goods to the orphanage.

Because of the cost and the ease of the task, I soon had as many people as I wanted, so I told the attendant that I wanted the recipients to be at my shop at noon and left.

I then went straight to the orphanage and found the orphanage manager who was busy preparing breakfast for the children.

After a short negotiation, the woman reduced my initial offer of 50% to 25%. Fortunately, her persuasiveness must have convinced the template, as the template similarity did not decrease.

Then I returned to the shop and changed the prices of the products I would continue to sell, my face reddening as I imagined the reactions.

Meanwhile, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed the tobacco I had forgotten to sell to Hiruzen.

Normally I would put a 30% profit margin after all expenses on the products I sold, and that was a pretty good amount, but trader Rekt is not the kind of person to be satisfied with that.

I didn't increase the price of my products all at once, of course, but I raised them all to 50% profit margin first.

My plan was to take some products off the shelves over time and then put them back on the shelves with an increase after a while. That way, when the Hokage asked me about it, I could pretend that the source from which I got the products was the main reason for the increase.

After thinking about it for a while, I decided that wasn't such a good idea either, because this is a fucking ninja village.

The level of my trickery would only be enough to fool ordinary people. Anbu, on the other hand, could easily figure out what I was doing with an hour of research.

After some more thought, I started to remove the labels from all the products, trying not to imagine the problems to come.

Because I love my life, I will sell my products to the ninjas of the village for only a little more money, but when I see faces in the village for the first time, I will scrape the flesh off the bones.

After a moment of silent contemplation, I decided that this plan was less risky and stopped thinking about it.

Now it was time to do the template mission.

[Template mission 2: The golden rule of trading: 1000% is the ideal profit level. When selling at least once, increase your profit level to 1000%. Tip from Trader Rekt: Big profit, takes big balls!]

[Mission duration: 20 hours]

After looking around for a while, my gaze was forced to linger on the black tobacco again.

Sighing, I laid the whole black tobacco on a hand-woven wicker basket and placed it in a prominent place in the shop. Then, with a red face, I wrote the following on a white piece of paper and hung it on the tobacco;

/Don't say we haven't heard. The legendary black tobacco of the land of volcanoes is in Konoha\

\This magnificent product will be on sale at half price for today only/

They say that in the volcano country, only those who can smoke this tobacco are true men

80,000 ryo per kg

"Maybe because I don't normally use tobacco I find the taste too bitter. Maybe it is a good tobacco. Hmph!"

When I finished convincing myself enough, I checked the system notifications that came in when I removed the prices.

Trader Rekt must have been particularly pleased with the way I priced tobacco, which was increased by 20% in one go.

If I was his apprentice and he was with me, he would undoubtedly want to come and pat me on the head.

The percentage of similarity I had reached was already 60%. In a strange way, being Trader Rekt seemed to suit me.

As I had predicted, my store was never ending.

And my situation wasn't even that uncomfortable.

When I look at it in general, I've already inherited all his sales habits. I guess there's only one thing left to do to increase the percentage.

Actually, two things, but since there are no zombies in my world, I don't need to make my store zombie-proof.

So what I need to imitate is Trader Rekt's human relations... fuck!

.....

Around noon the genins I had been waiting for arrived and started moving the goods from my shop to the orphanage.

The next thing I had to do was to find some carpenters to downsize my shop, but as soon as I walked out the door I was met with an unexpected scene.

This time it was really unexpected because it was the first time I had seen Sasuke since he was a baby at Kushina's house.

Like every Uchiha family member, Sasuke rarely left the clan's borders. Moreover, since Kushina's death, the Uchiha clan had been under even more pressure, which made it even less frequent for Uchiha to leave the clan.

Sasuke, who was only five years old, was probably leaving the clan's territory for the first time because there was a great caution in the way he looked at me.

It was the caution hidden in his eyes that made me guess that this was his first time leaving the clan lands.

I guess it was the first time he encountered every village and the villagers started avoiding him like they did all the Uchiha. I can only imagine what he went through, the sarcastic looks he received from the villagers and the undisguised gossip that started as soon as he turned his back.

When Sasuke looked into my eyes, he was probably looking for the other villagers' gaze in my eyes out of fear.

I'm sorry, Sasuke, but even though I normally think of myself as a compassionate person, I'm sure this look won't turn into a trauma for you. After all, once you return to your clan, your clan members will fill you with Uchiha arrogance and you won't care about all those stares anymore.

----

I didn't disappoint Sasuke's expectation and I looked Sasuke in the eye like Trader Rekt looks at the players, like a piece of shit, and I lifted my nose in the air.

"Shi shi kid! This is not a charity. As I always say, "No ching ching, No trade"

Before Sasuke could open his mouth, Itachi appeared in front of me with a flicker.

Itachi didn't scare me much, because I knew better than anyone that he was an extreme truth-teller. Itachi was one of the last people in this village who would attack me unless I did violence directly to Sasuke.

Itachi looked surprised when he appeared in front of me. He was probably surprised by my unexpected behavior. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay here because I couldn't wait to get rid of this damn template early and get back to my business.

Fortunately, Itachi was both an anbu member and a regular member of the hard missions during this period. Knowing Trader Rekt as well as I did, I could show a little more friendliness to someone as rich as Itachi.

"Hohoho my dear wallet. I mean! My best customer! I mean, Itachi. Uchiha Itachi. What brings you here? Sorry for being rude, I'm not having a good day."

God damn it! I shouldn't have apologized at the end.

"He's my brother, Sasuke. I'm here to shop."

After surprising Itachi once again by telling him that I already knew it was Sasuke, I told them that it would take until tonight for the shop to open and kicked them out.

I laughed at Itachi's little surprise at not getting the same polite treatment from me that he always got from me, and went about my business at full speed.

First I checked the address book to find the names and addresses of the carpenters I had worked with before, then I paid them a visit and picked up the two who were available and went back to the shop.

I didn't wait for the other carpenters to have free time, as I wanted to get the work done as fast as possible, so I brought the ones I could find, so I needed to give them a few powerful helpers to make their work easier.

Without much hesitation I walked into the ninja mission center and as soon as I walked in I told a few of the free ninjas who were looking around at the missions that I needed them urgently.

Thanks to my no-holds-barred attitude and my hard work to get things done quickly, by 6:00 p.m. all the preparations in my store were completed.

Just as I had hoped, the interior design of our store looked a bit like Trader Rekt's store. Of course, every corner of my store had been neatly organized by my employees before I was fired.

Speaking of which, it's almost halfway through the month and I have to pay them for the first month's work. When I close the store in the evening, I'll distribute their salaries before I go home.

"Wow, I almost forgot you can be fair about some things."

After making sure everything was in order, I opened the door to my store and waited for the first customers of the day. Fortunately, I didn't have to wait too long.

My customers, mostly unfamiliar faces, looked at the change in my store and came up to me to ask what was going on.

Of course, finishing the template in my head early took precedence over explaining to my customers with whom I had no real intimacy, so I dismissed each of them like a grumpy old man.

Meanwhile, I kept getting notifications from the gyan side that my template similarity was increasing.

It was night before he realized it.

"You've changed, Eren. You didn't used to be so rude!"

After dragging the young girl out of my store with tears in her eyes, I was finally able to close the doors.

[Template similarity rate +10]

■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Probably the thing I liked the most about this template was that I was able to freely tell this girl, whom I considered a curse of my good looks, what I thought of her.

When the girl, who wasn't even a ninja, and most importantly, who I had never seen while watching the anime, was hit by reality, I got another +10 similarity from the template, bringing my similarity to 100% for the first time.

[in English] Congratulations, server. If you don't drop your template similarity below 90% in the next three days, you will receive early completion rewards for the best rate].

"Hmh this template seems to be easier than I thought... Did I forget something?"
