Chapter 2 - New Abilities

And now, an entity had arrived. One who did not belong.

High above the calm blue of the East Blue sky, space shimmered like a broken mirror. From that tear in reality, ROB stepped through — the once-omnipotent being now clothed in a mortal form, his dark hair fluttering in the ocean breeze.

He floated there in the sky, barefoot, staring down at the sprawling world below with a faint smirk.

"Hmm… so this is One Piece," he said, his voice echoing faintly across the wind. "The world of dreams, freedom, and… stupidity."

He chuckled softly as he watched a distant pirate ship being chased by a Marine vessel — cannon fire lighting up the ocean like fireworks.

"Chaotic," he mused. "But I like it."

His eyes glowed faintly, divine senses spreading outward in all directions. He could feel it — the energy of this world, the laughter, the bloodshed, the endless hunger for adventure. Every soul here was chasing something, no matter how impossible.

'So this is what fascinates mortals,' he thought. 'They fight, fail, and still dream.'

He floated lower, just enough to let his feet touch the air like invisible steps.

"Well then," he said with a grin, "let's see what all the fuss is about."

With that, his figure began to blur. The divine glow that once radiated from his form dimmed until it vanished entirely. His overwhelming presence dissolved into the still air as he descended, weightless, through layers of drifting clouds.

Moments later, his feet touched solid ground.

He stood at the shoreline of an empty island — small, quiet, and untouched by civilization. The waves rolled lazily onto the sand, brushing against his bare feet with cool foam. The salty breeze carried the scent of freedom, and the soft roar of the ocean was the only sound breaking the silence.

Before him, the sun began to rise — a golden disc climbing over the endless horizon. Light spilled across the sea, painting it in hues of amber and crimson. For the first time in eons, ROB felt something stir inside him — not awe, exactly, but something close.

"Beautiful," he murmured, watching the light dance across the waves.

Then, his eyes narrowed thoughtfully.

'I need a name,' he thought, running a hand through his dark hair. 'Something normal… something that fits this world.'

After a short pause, he smirked.

"Kael Riven," he said aloud. The words rolled easily off his tongue. "Yeah. That'll do."

He glanced around the island. Nothing but trees, sand, and seagulls.

'Now what? I can't just conjure a ship and start sailing around like some god-tier tourist. That'd ruin the fun.'

As he pondered, movement on the distant horizon caught his attention. A ship, a merchant ship cutting gracefully through the water. Kael's eyes sharpened. It looked oddly familiar.

He focused, enhancing his vision. The wooden hull, the patched sails, the nervous-looking boy on deck… and just behind them, a pirate ship bearing a pink Jolly Roger with lipstick and a heart-shaped skull.

He chuckled.

"Ah… Alvida."

It hit him immediately — this was the very beginning of One Piece. The moment where Luffy meets Coby.

'Damn,' he thought, smirking. 'I'm at the start. That's… actually kinda boring. But not bad either.'

His gaze drifted skyward as he folded his arms.

'Now then… what power do I use here? I can't go around being omnipotent. That's no fun.'

Inside his mind, a vast cosmic archive stirred. Infinite energies, divine concepts, forbidden powers — all at his fingertips. He could erase islands, create gods, rewrite destinies. But where was the thrill in that?

He sighed.

'If I use everything, there's no challenge. I'll limit myself to one ability… something interesting.'

He snapped his fingers. A circular portal of light appeared before him, floating in the air. Inside, a giant wheel materialized — divided into countless glowing sections, each labeled with a name: Satoru Gojo, Ainz Ooal Gown, Accelerator, Madara, Rimuru, Anos, Sukuna, Goku, Escanor… and thousands more.

Kael grinned.

"Alright then. Let fate decide."

He flicked his finger, and the wheel began to spin — faster and faster until it became a blur of light and color. Wind whipped across the beach, the air humming with divine energy.

After a few moments, it slowed… ticked once… twice… and finally stopped.

Kael leaned forward to see the result.

His lips curved into a slow, satisfied smile.

"Not bad," he said softly.

Golden sparks crackled around his hand as his chosen power began to awaken.

[Genryūsai Yamamoto's Abilities Activated]

Immediately, Kael felt every previous ability vanish — as if they had never existed. In their place surged raw, fiery power: the essence of an old man who had commanded fire and battle for centuries. The heat hummed along his veins, the air around him shimmering as if reality itself feared his presence.

He smiled, feeling the overwhelming strength settle into his body.

'Alright… let's see what the old man can do,' he thought, a faint spark of mischief lighting his eyes.

In the blink of an eye, Kael vanished.

Moments later, he appeared on the deck of the merchant ship — right in the middle of Alvida's crew as they looted and threatened the sailors. The pirates froze, startled by the sudden intrusion.

"Where did he come from?!" one of them shouted, eyes wide with disbelief.

"It doesn't matter! Attack him!" another barked, drawing a rusty cutlass.

Three burly pirates charged forward, confidence in their stride. Kael waited, calm as the ocean breeze, his black eyes glinting.

As soon as they were within reach, he struck.

Three lightning-fast jabs — precise, unstoppable, infused with the heat of an eternal flame — slammed into their faces.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Bodies flew like ragdolls, sails of their pride shredded as they landed far out in the sea, splashing violently. Water erupted around them.

The remaining crew froze, mouths agape.

Meanwhile, below deck, Luffy and Coby were talking, oblivious to the chaos erupting above. Kael observed them for a heartbeat, amusement flickering in his expression.

'Hmm… I'm strong. Pretty strong. Well… better leave before I mess up the storyline too much,' he thought.

With another flash, he vanished again.

BOOSHHH!

A wave of wind tore across the ocean, ripping through sails and sending seagulls scattering. The sea itself seemed to recoil from his speed. For a moment, Kael's laughter mingled with the roar of the ocean — sharp, amused, and untouchably godlike.

And just like that, he was gone — leaving only the stunned cries of pirates and the lingering heat of a power they could barely comprehend.
