Chapter 1 - The Beginning

I closed my eyes, as i took a brief sigh, and looked upward.

I had just overheard the verdict: I would be stripped of my powers, memories, and traits in my next reincarnation cycle.

'What if I ever have a will to make my own decisions?'

Powers are bestowed and blessed by gods. But to have such beings decide my fate, that is a delusion I refuse to accept.

In the world we live in, the decisions and paths we choose often lead us into contempt... outside the line our guardians choose for us.

Life isn't fair.

Yet the gods are cruel in their decisions.

Choice must be made by the soul alone, yet they sought to decide over my entire cycle of life.

I may not call myself the greatest, but my people accept me willingly.

They live, laugh, and embrace peace.

I resolve their conflicts peacefully.

They derive joy and love in harmony.

But when violence is present, they are deprived of joy and peace itself.

It seems the God of Reincarnation has willingly chosen the dark side, choosing to forsake me entirely. My memories, powers, and all will be wiped out when I enter another lifetime.

However, I made sure of one thing before coming into your presence.

My blood is imprinted upon a sacred seal. I have made a divine contract whereby my entire existence, powers, luck, and memories are stored in a Divine System.

Therefore, I come now to seek your aid.

The God of Fate looked up to me, with cloud dust pointed at me in the form of a finger "Even as a young one, you possess the traits of your mother. You are wise."

The help and aid I sought from the God of Fate was granted, but a set of trial tests was stated before me. And I was left with only two options.

1. Accept Fate: It was stated If I die during the trial tests, no matter what plans I had, I will be left with no memories, traits, or powers of my past existence, as was already the decision of the God of Reincarnation.

2. Defy Fate: It was stated If I survive the trial tests, my plans... the system I created to restore my memories, traits, and entire powers will be successful, overriding the conclusions made by the God of Reincarnation.

I stared deeply at the one word: DEFY. Who would ever think that after being forsaken by the God of Reincarnation, one could break such a protocol? Yet, here I stand.

My plan requires the aid of the God of Fate, but its success rests on whether I can manage to Defy Fate itself. If I succeed, my will and decisions will be entirely my own.

This is my path.

And this is only just the beginning.
