The precise moment Thor awakened his Devil Fruit, a sudden and unnatural drop of temperature was felt across the entire geography of God Valley.
Everyone who is currently standing on the Island felt a chilling sensation, as it felt that the entire island's natural heat had suddenly disappeared into a void.
What followed immediately was a strong gust of wind that carried a sudden and violent snowstorm, which slowly changed the entire landscape of God Valley into a frozen wasteland.
[A FEW MOMENTS BEFORE THOR'S AWAKENING]
Borsalino is still catching his breath heavily due to his moving at the light speed's full potential without Borsalino having gained full control of his Devil Fruit yet. He stood alongside Kuma, Ivankov, and Ginny as they all met Dragon, who was in the middle of rescuing the remaining child in his arms, which was the infant Shamrock, amidst this hell on land.
"Where do you want to go?" Kuma asked with a gentle smile on his face. Kuma's intention is pure and kind, despite Dragon wearing a standard marine uniform, which meant that under normal circumstances, he is one of the Marines who helped set up the entire situation.
"I don't really care. The civilians that I had managed to save seemed safe now. You could decide where to bring me," Dragon said with a heavy sigh of relief in his tone, sounding as if an entire burden had suddenly been lifted off his shoulders.
"You're a member of the Marines, right? Why are you helping with the rescue of the civilians? Don't you marines only follow Celestial Dragon's words?" Borsalino asked. Despite being only three years older than Dragon, he had this kind of deep animosity against all of the marines, especially with his time spent on the Rocks Pirates ship and learning the true dark nature of a lot of marines.
"Not all of marines know the true situation, I'm fairly new on the marines myself, and just manage to insert myself in this mission due to the status of my father, I thought it was going to be a noble cause, turns out, I'll be assisting with setting up an entire genocide," Dragon then answered Borsalino's question with a burning anger. He was still disgusted with himself, but the feeling was slightly less than his earlier self-blame now that he had saved lives.
Borsalino, who had become a fairly great judge of character thanks to his time interacting with Thor, knew that every word of Dragon is true. It was something that happened so rarely with Borsalino's talks with marines in the past.
"Who's your father?" Borsalino asked, as he became fixated on a specific information that Dragon had just mentioned.
"I don't want to talk about it," Dragon answered with a serious face, which made Borsalino drop the subject immediately. Suddenly, the group felt the terrible chill that Thor's awakening had brought, which was followed by a sudden drop of snow and ice on the entire island. It was an atmospheric shift that made Borsalino turn his head towards Thor's distant figure.
"You all need to leave here now," Borsalino then warned the four. Kuma turned to look towards Dragon, as he wanted to know where Dragon wanted to come first, as he was trying to rescue them first before leaving with his friends.
"Where do you want to go?" Kuma then asked Dragon. Dragon looked one final time at the crumbling island and then took off the marine uniform he had been wearing. Dragon did not care about the cold and snow that was dropping on his skin, as he chose to stay at the cold temperature rather than wear the uniform of the Marines once again.
"Bring us to where you would go, I'll figure out what I'm gonna do later," Dragon said towards Kuma. Kuma then smiled and turned towards Borsalino, who picked up on the stare.
"No, my friend is still here; if he ever needs me, I shall be there for him. I hope we meet again in the future, hopefully under different circumstances," Borsalino said towards Kuma as he patted Kuma's back reassuringly. He was also turning towards Ivankov and Ginny, who had bright smiles on their faces.
"Thank you, uncle!" The three all simultaneously said. This title made Borsalino feel a little awkward, as he is still only 20 years old, and being called an uncle is not something that he expected at his age.
But before he could say something about it to correct them, Dragon, who was holding Shamrock, suddenly disappeared.
He was followed by Ginny, Ivankov, and Kuma himself, leaving Borsalino standing alone in the snow.
Borsalino smiled for himself for the last time as he then transformed into light once again. He goes to where he feels Thor's presence to offer support.
When Borsalino came to be at the location, he saw Thor's figure, which is more than twenty meters tall now.
His entire body is made out of a block of living ice while fighting against a figure that is made out of solid black color, like a shadow, with physical traits that are typical of demons.
Thor had been extremely serious in his fight against Shadow Rocks as it reached its final stages.
Thor's newly found strength and abilities are now helping him become more and stronger, as the more he fought against Shadow Rocks, the more he became familiar with the mechanics of his awakened Devil Fruit abilities.
Thor's ice powers had become Primordial Ice, or True Ice. It is a substance that no amount of fire or heat could melt, as it reached the absolute zero in temperature.
But the cost of this intense power is a rapid depletion of his stamina.
Despite being a different beast altogether now, Thor could still feel the exhaustion coming to him.
Now, Thor started channeling everything that he got towards his hammer. He was now planning on ending the entire fight in one blow, as Thor knew that he would not win against a battle of attrition against an apparition-like being that does not tire.
Thor's conqueror's haki, armament haki, ice, and lightning, everything that Thor could give, was now being properly channeled into Mjolnir. The weapon also underwent some physical changes.
As if responding to the growth of Thor, the hammer began to pulse and beat much more wildly. It started absorbing the power that Thor had been channeling towards it and started amplifying it.
Shadow Rocks, who had seen Thor's preparation, also started preparing his own counter, as it concentrated everything it got into his dark sword.
The same thing is happening to Garp, Roger, and Newgate's side.
They all figure out that they needed to overwhelm the haki of Rocks to defeat him, as they knew what had happened to Rocks was an effect of Devil Fruit powers.
They reasoned that it could be overwhelmed or even cancelled altogether by a single more intense haki blast, which they all needed to join together just to match against Rocks' enhanced form.
"KAGUTSUCHI'S ACE" Roger got ready as he began spinning his sword on his back, which was getting faster by the minute.
"INFINITUM EXPLOSION!" Garp did the same thing as he started circling his entire arm, winding up his punch like he was doing the same thing as King Elizabello II would do in the future.
Newgate, however, just channeled everything he had in his bisento, as he does not have the habit of naming his movements.
The three then simultaneously attack towards Rocks' true figure, and at the same time, Thor attacked Shadow Rocks with his own ultimate move.
"Ginnungagap," Thor then sent his attack. The lightning part of his powers, as well as the ice, created a massive explosion of powers that directly hit Shadow Rocks.
Both Rocks' physical figure and Shadow Rocks were blown towards a certain direction by the impacts.
They coincidentally lined up in the air, as they merged back into one figure. But the intensity of their attacks became a catalyst for an even bigger explosion of strength that directly shook the entire foundation of God Valley.
