I am the author of Naruto: I cultivated passively and I'm here to talk about the similarities and differences between my energy type that I picked in this Naruto Martial Arts setting.
We know Chakra and Qi-Blood work the same. However, these energy systems have a vast number of differences.
To put it simply, Chakra has a limiter called bloodlines. These bloodlines are the established rules within the Naruto world. If you want to have higher chakra reserves as a kid, there are only two ways.
To eat and grow little by little or to have a bloodline.
Of course, some bloodlines don't increase the chakra capacity in their bodies. Instead, there's the Susanoo-Summoning Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan and the Hyuga Clan's All-Seeing Byakugan.
In short, these dōjutsu can improve someone's capability or fighting prowess.
All in all, power.
Chakra is severely restricted by Kekkai Genkai and ordinary people are just sitting ducks in front of the gigantic roots of Wood Release and god-like Full Body Susanoo.
Maybe Naruto is all about the output aspect, which I meant is spewing fire out from the mouth and much more unimaginable levels of destruction instead of refining the energy and strengthening the body.
What I think about Naruto is just like a cultivation/wuxia-like thingy. It's only my opinion on this matter.
Now, back to the Qi-Blood.
My Qi-Blood energy system is nothing new in the wide universe of Chinese Wuxia/Xianxia novels out there. It's not even my creation to begin with.
However, I think that it's fascinating to think about the Wuxia settings in Naruto.
Immortal and Martial Cultivation are also the same yet different from each other.
Immortal Cultivation is about accumulating spiritual energy from the dantian and comprehending the Dao to break through the ruthless limits of lifespan.
Qi-Blood is about strengthening the body to produce earth-shattering strikes and also comprehending the heavens to become powerful.
I'm going on a huge tangent here, so let's stop there and talk about the book itself.
There will be some delay on my chapter update since I don't have a back-up for these things. Basically, I have no extra chapters like a guy in the middle of a dark room, constantly trying to find his phone.
As for the power stones, just keep it guys. I am doing this fanfic for my overall growth as well as to see whether I improved or not.
