Now, this event was marked as a sense of understanding.
From Yoichi's practical demonstration, the Sannin gradually realized the profundity of Martial Arts as another applicable way to improve and evolve their own strength.
To be honest, Tenjin met a mismatch.
During the fight, Yoichi's control over the fight with his physique completely overshadowed Tenjin's achievements in Taijutsu as well as his experience.
If Yoichi met a cunning shinobi or someone capable of suppressing him, perhaps the fight could be uncertain.
With the blatant flaws exposed, Yoichi felt like he lacked something more than power that he couldn't quite put a finger on in the meantime.
"Shall we go? It won't be too long before the officials notice this ruckus."
Jiraiya scratched his head, feeling the stares of different onlookers around.
"Oh well, it's time to go. Fortunately, it's finally done. Otherwise, we'll be dead thanks to this heat!" Tsunade responded, wiping the sweat on her forehead.
With that, Yoichi along with the three walked out slowly but surely.
The children around instinctively paved a way to these superstars, still unable to process what had just transpired.
At first glance, it seemed that Tenjin was the winner in all aspects.
Strength, combat experience, and age.
However, their preconceived notion was torn into pieces by Yoichi's tyrannical force, beating Tenjin in a miserable way as a Hyūga member.
All of the people including the children knew that the Hyūga Clan was superb at Taijutsu and the field of perception.
But now, Tenjin has been defeated by a 5-year-old child who did not even resort to using his Sharingan and beaten him in his strongest expertise.
"Is that really our peer? Why do I feel like that child is a demon in disguise?"
"How terrifying!"
"I mean, look at those scars. It could be that he took a beating before he got that strength."
Among the chattering of the children, a few of them marveled at Yoichi.
That display of strength was frankly something memorable in their minds.
Soon, the 4 silhouettes disappeared.
The children then scattered quickly as this shocking occurrence was enough to be a headline for tons of rumors or gossip to linger for a few weeks.
That power is no ordinary Taijutsu... I wonder where he learned that.
While being assisted by his colleagues, Tsuyoshi reflected for a bit before he smiled bitterly.
The child whom he could almost beat in the previous encounter drastically improved and saved his ass from being humiliated, salvaging their clan's reputation with dominance.
Who couldn't be upset about it?
As the youngsters scampered away, the word of mouth soon started to wreak havoc.
By an hour, the talk of the village was on Yoichi's greatness over the Hyūga and Hyūga's miserable defeat at the hands of a 5-year-old brat.
Unknowingly, the emphasis of these rumors was just hanging out with his friends, sumptuously eating at a BBQ restaurant.
...
...
...
"This is such a big travesty. We could not be passive with our approach, not unless you penalize them with proper punishment!"
Banging the door open, Danzo's voice was heard in the Hokage's building.
Due to Yoichi's swift progress, Danzo felt that his plans couldn't keep up with this accelerating situation.
Now and then, Danzo's subordinates kept monitoring Yoichi's development for the past few months.
With the child's keen perception, all the reports remained undefined and murky, unable to distinguish his true capability or strength.
However, with this showcase, the unexpected growth clearly indicated that Yoichi's improvement during these months wasn't abysmal.
I must nip the bud before it grows into something even Hiruzen cannot control! This is for the future of Konoha!
"Mind your manners, Danzo! This matter ends here, there's no point in trying to discipline children for the sake of your vanity!"
Hiruzen was angered, looking at his impatient friend before he sat down in his chair.
At this point, Hiruzen assumed that Yoichi could easily graduate now based on the reports he had received.
Beating up a bona fide Chūnin and coming out unscathed was truly another league of its own.
Not only that, but what the child defeated was a Hyūga, an exceptional youngster with an extraordinary edge in Taijutsu.
Along with Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru — the future generations would surely flourish and protect the village.
However, he was left with another predicament: how to control the child.
Yoichi also had a close connection to the three and Hiruzen couldn't resist rubbing his temples from the tension.
"Is this truly what you wanted?! Let me remind you, these things would happen again if you let them do what they want!" Danzo rebuked.
Pitting both Hyūga and Uchiha against each other was a preferable conclusion in favor of the Hokage's office.
Ever since the establishment of Konoha, these top-tier clans had remained as entitled yet disobedient main factors in governing the village.
Many clans were historically independent, a powerful force before the village system was developed.
Therefore, some of these clan members have been struggling to set aside their great pride and are unable to integrate into the unified society, leading to internal friction.
To stain their reputations, the ordinary citizens must be enlightened and fight back, bringing a fair pretext for Hiruzen along with his associates to punish them in the eyes of the public.
"Danzo! I am the Hokage!" Hiruzen slammed his table, voiced out his anger with a hint of sheer authority.
"Hiruzen, you'll regret this!"
Violently slamming the door, Danzo stormed out of the office.
I must recruit a Jōnin to eliminate that brat regardless of the Uchiha's overly protective attitude! What I am doing is to ensure the village's future.
Danzo's eye flashed a treacherous glint as he walked into the Shimura Compound, planning for something significant.
"Haaahhh... What a problematic case!"
Hiruzen sat down and puffed his pipe, carefully thinking about what to do with Yoichi as well as this mess.
For a while, he mulled over a lot of goals until he saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
*Flick!*
"Hokage-sama."
Hearing the snapping sound, an ANBU operative emerged from the shadows.
"Call Uchiha Yoichi, convey the message that I'll require his company in."
Hiruzen gave a directive, puffing a pipe as dense haze breathed out.
The ANBU bowed slightly as he faded away as he had come.
It has been more than 6 months and I still have not given him his rewards. It is possible that the child felt a little bit betrayed by my broken promise.
Due to the stack of paperwork, he had relatively forgotten about his vow.
However, being a Hokage for less than 2 years, his works actually buried him.
Hiruzen's timetable has been filled with numerous profound matters mainly regarding funding, programs, and all of the internal friction within Konoha's confines.
He had to be strong and mentally persistent to be able to slowly blend both ordinary and top-tier clans without any pushback from either side.
"Hopefully, this matter won't make the child feel like I'm blatantly repressing him alongside his clan..."
Hiruzen glanced at the windows, seeing all of Konoha beyond the horizon.
