Noelle took a step forward, standing perfectly in front of Soren on the opposite side of the table. Her raven black hair cascaded down her shoulders in beautiful, bouncy waves.
No matter how much I didn't like her, I couldn't deny that she was beautiful.
"Noelle, don't bother the Alpha," Beta Ronan said, giving her a look of warning.
However, that only made her pout. "But Alpha Soren promised! I even requested the next song!" she whined.
The rims of her eyes began to water, making it seem as if she would burst into tears at any moment.
Soren placed his fork down and stood up. "Fine. Just one dance."
He walked over to meet her on the other side of the table, where she immediately wrapped her arm around his. The tears were gone, replaced by a smile that stated, "Back off, he's mine!"
She didn't forget to flash me a dirty look before dragging Soren out onto the dance floor that was just in front of our table.
The crowd around us quickly quieted, and all eyes were on them.
