Mark pressed the button, and the castel exploded at that moment. Flames engulfed every corner of the estate. Loren was terrified. The friends stepped forward, shocked.
Velaxor sighed and said:"
_We are free now, though it cost us dearly. In the end, the fate's chains melted in fire, even though I never intended to burn them alive."
Loren looked at Mark. but before she could speak, the head servant appeared with firefighters and police. The friends froze. The head servant ordered Mark's arrest and said:"
_We have many witnesses who can confirm your crime. The servants saw you carrying a large bag and placing strange items around the house yesterday."
There was no resistance; Mark surrendered. Despite Velaxor and Loren's attempts to take responsibility, the head servant intervened:"
_You, miss, know nothing. He didn't do this to free you and Mr. Velaxor; he deliberately killed her father because he prevented him from marrying you."
The girl couldn't utter a word, staring at him in shock. After the fire was extinguished, it was discovered that all mansion inhabitants had perished. Velaxor placed a hand on her shoulder and spoke gently:"
_This is the end of greed. Our parents have long wronged people, and it is our duty to make amends, as we will inherit our families' estates. Loren, you can't live alone, nor can you manage the inheritance. I cannot manage the house on my own, so it is best we share our properties and responsibilities. You'll be my life partner."
_"Ha ha ha! See, Velaxor, after everything we did to escape marriage, we end up deciding ourselves to marry."
_"It's the best choice, Loren. No problem even after everything, we now decide by mutual consent, not by force. if you don't want to, that's fine."
_"No, no, I didn't mean I don't want to marry you. In fact, after everything you've done and all the clever plans, I realize you are a genius, authoritative, and charismatic. I feel my heart beating whenever I am near you..."
_"Ha ha, I am an attractive man, right?"
_"Stop!, you're embarrassing me..."
Mark, hearing this, felt disappointed. The police arrived and took him away. He looked at Velaxor with envy, knowing Loren would be with him, even though Velaxor had never intended to provoke him.
After a while, everything seemed to return to normal. Loren and Velaxor married and lived a peaceful life. However, Mark remained absent, and fate didn't reunite them after that.
