Chapter 9 - Loneliness

Two hands moved to the rhythm of a catchy song. "Choco choco lala choco choco tete cho la choco te choco choco late." Kael and Selene were playing quietly, doing the same thing faster and faster.

On the other hand, Adriel stood with his trench coat on the ground, his fists making the combinations he had learned from the scroll, extremely focused on doing everything right.

Next to him was Steven, who was practicing swinging his axe, until after a while he tapped Adriel on the shoulder and they both started doing exercises to improve their physiques.

Quite far from them were Nico and Liora, who were talking and flirting. They were both calm and having fun, talking nonstop, but unfortunately, Amara was near them. "I'm the third wheel... Why is everyone doing something? The only person alone is that weird woman... She gives me bad vibes..."

Amara stared at the succubus, then without warning their eyes met, the succubus' soft but intense purple eyes fixed on the nervous gaze of the girl, who was terrified by her presence.

The succubus stood up and walked directly toward Amara, never taking her eyes off her, but Amara could only focus on one thing: "Why are her breasts so big? She doesn't seem to be wearing any clothes. What is covering her? And why is it so skimpy?"

The succubus's hands touched her knees so she could see Amara, who couldn't stop staring at her chest in surprise. "Tell me, girl, what is your name and how old are your friends?" The succubus's voice didn't change, her way of speaking remained just as seductive, even though she was talking to a woman.

"Um, giants... I mean, we're 16 years old. My name is Amara. The ones who are always together are called Nico and Liora. The big guy who plays Choco Choco lala is Kael, and the girl is called Selene. Also, the guy who's training is called Adriel, and the man next to him is Steven." Amara didn't stop looking at her, but at least she stopped being so bold as she began to look into the succubus's eyes. "And tell me, what's your name?"

"Me? My name is Elena. Nice to meet you, Amara." Elena cheerfully extended her hand to Amara, who took it and shook it so that Elena would turn around. "Her ass is the same story as her chest." That thought flashed through Amara's mind, then she looked at her own physique. "Is there any way they can grow?" Amara put some pressure on her chest with her forearm and stood up to see if she could do anything else, clearly depressed.

"So my... 'interests' are called Adriel and Steven." Elena began to look around and fixed her gaze on Kael and Selena as the next ones to be questioned.

Elena walked over to where Kael and Selene were, both still playing with their hands, mainly Selene showing Kael various things and then they would try to do them.

Just as Elena was about to speak to them, a loud voice was heard: "Let's all talk together. Today, we will be completely honest about the system!"

Adriel's voice caught everyone's attention. Before, they would have ignored him, but his presence had become stronger, his words carried more weight, and they felt a slight fear towards him.

Everyone formed a circle, and Adriel was the first to speak. "As you already know, there are horrible things. This world is not safe, and it never will be. In my stupidity and intoxication with the system, I decided to hide from you the fact that I obtained two important items some time ago."

"The first is a leather breastplate that took the shape of my shirt; you can't tell that it took a different shape. I also obtained a scroll that taught me things about boxing, which is why I was training in that, along with Steven's axe. We know that there are a total of four types of objects, at least that's how I see them."

Adriel raised his hand and began to list each one.

"Vanity, armor, weapons, and scrolls." Adriel looked at them all and then relaxed. "I imagine these types don't need an introduction. Does anyone know or want to mention anything?"

Liora raised her right hand while holding Nico's left hand with her fingers intertwined. "You've seen the system more times. Do you have any theories or..."

"I know how to use the system... monsters with human intelligence are capable of using it~" Elena interrupted Liora abruptly, who was a little embarrassed.

"But it comes at a price. Tell me, what do you want? We can give you some things... but not much." Adriel looked her straight in the eye, cutting off the sentence he was sure she was about to say.

"You read my class, didn't you? I must feed on a man's bodily fluids. It doesn't have to be his seed; sweat, saliva, and urine will also do." Elena lay down in such a way as to highlight her attributes as much as possible.

"What about blood?" Adriel thought for a moment when he heard her.

"No, that doesn't come out of the body naturally." Elena moved her body erratically, not just her head.

Elena moved forward, then grabbed Adriel's face. "How about this? You kiss me, a French kiss so I can get your saliva~" Elena stuck out her tongue, lasciviously offering Adriel a kiss.

Adriel grabbed Elena's face with his hand, covering her mouth. "I have a better option. I'll give you sweat, but first give me information on how to use the system."

Elena reacted by returning to her seat and sitting down. "Hmmm... let's all go together to try out the system instead of a boring explanation. I know where you can try it out. What do you think? A-d-r-i-e-l~"

'This bitch, I never mentioned my name to her. She probably asked someone else. Besides, it was never mentioned around her.' "Sure, let's go today." Adriel stood up and grabbed her wrist.

"Get up quickly." Adriel pulled her wrist and she got up, falling dramatically on top of him, only to be pushed forward.

'Will she trust me that easily? No... he must be planning how to escape in case of trouble. Anyway, I'm not going to kill them. They're the only stable source of food I'll have for a while.' Elena stood up and started walking north, so Adriel followed her and signaled to his friends to follow them.

Amara's brow slowly furrowed. Although she knew it wasn't entirely true, she felt alone. Her mind divided their roles by levels.

Adriel, Elena, and Steven were at the top, although the most surprising was the first on the list. Even though they all had almost the same opportunities, Adriel adapted more quickly, and his behavior was very different from what it had been in his original world.

In the second tier were Nico and Kael. They weren't as determined as Adriel, but they were clearly more determined than Liora and Selene. At least they knew something thanks to talking to the others.

But from her point of view, she was never really helpful. She felt that her knowledge of the world and the system was nil. She needed something to help her grow.

Suddenly, a status window appeared in front of her. She had two options: "Yes" and "No." Something inside her compelled her to click "Yes." She felt that her choice would condemn her, but she would review it later anyway.
