Chapter 171 - Chapter 94: The Missing Link, Reentering the Illusion Realm (Part 6)

Ian was not the kind of person who spouted nonsense. He glanced at the Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts leisurely enjoying a meal at the staff table. Only after the dinner ended and the professor left did he approach Aurora.

Originally, he wanted to bring William and Michael along, but neither of them had any interest in eating at the feast, let alone taking a long walk to Hogwarts' kitchen.

"We should just go back to sleep... hey, you can dream about anything." It was unclear why William and Michael spoke with such a shell-shocked expression.

They knew they would have nightmares.

Yet they insisted on going back to sleep?

Sometimes Ian really felt out of place in the somewhat bizarre dormitory. Fortunately, he still had a friend who was mostly normal.

"Your grandfather is at the school!"

In the corridor outside the Great Hall, as soon as he saw Aurora, Ian unveiled the disguise of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class professor. He originally expected to see shock or surprise on Aurora's face.

Unexpectedly.

"I already knew. Grandfather said you would probably come to complain to me and told me to remember what you scolded him for." Aurora's expression was rather peculiar.

Perhaps because the word "complain" was a term she hesitantly chose on the spot?

"..."

Ian silently erased all his prepared remarks from his mind, "Why would I insult my professor? He really just misjudges people. I'm clearly only grateful that he taught me the Patronus Charm."

His tone heightened a bit as he took out a map to confirm the location.

"Alright."

Aurora nodded in response.

"You called him dirty-hearted."

She even summarized it.

"!!!!"

Ian's eyes widened in surprise.

"Don't go tattle-telling!"

As soon as his words fell, he stepped right into the German girl's scheme.

"Alright."

Once again, Aurora nodded and revealed what she had learned, imitating Ian's tone, "But you need to teach me the Patronus Charm."

Her words were succinct and clear.

Giving Ian a strong sense of déjà vu.

"You're truly wicked! Crafty rogue!"

Muttering, Ian obviously didn't refuse, glancing towards the direction of the eighth floor, "Actually, I haven't fully mastered it, but it shouldn't be hard to teach you."

"Anyway, we've just finished dinner. We can practice magic to help digest. Though I don't quite agree with your grandfather's teaching methods, if you can learn the Patronus Charm tonight, I'll show you the Pocket Monster I found today." As he spoke, Ian ran ahead.

Seeing Aurora catch up, he didn't forget to remind her, "It's a lost Dementor. You can't inform our Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher... Dementors are extremely dangerous for you all. You can see that from my two roommates, so you must learn the Patronus Charm first."

Aurora nodded as she followed behind Ian.

"Is it not dangerous to you?"

Her tone filled with curiosity.

"I feel like it's a small dog, very obedient...maybe because I used to wield a longsword against storms!" Ian said as he brought Aurora to the Room of Requirement.

Ensuring there was no one around.

He then murmured the request for a room to hide things and led Aurora inside.

The door slowly closed, gradually disappearing. Meanwhile, from the owl shed in the West Tower, having just delivered something, Gilderoy Grindelwald purposely circled here. He glanced at the spot where the door vanished, shrugged, and returned to his Defense Against the Dark Arts office on the third floor via the stairs.

"Whew~"

The candles in the office lit automatically.

Illuminating the dim room.

Having returned to the school after being who knows where, Dumbledore was there waiting, leaning on the desk, seemingly fiddling with something in his hand.

The Professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts, Gilderoy Grindelwald, was not at all surprised.

"The Ministry of Magic lost a Dementor, Gellert. We agreed not to break the law." Dumbledore looked up at the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher who had just entered.

He frowned slightly.

With Grindelwald still maintaining Gilderoy Lockhart's physique and appearance, only his face began twisting and changing with a cracking sound.

Soon enough.

That aging yet handsome face reappeared. This was a rare Transformation Technique skill that few could learn, with difficulty second only to one of the highest accomplishments in Transformation Techniques: Animagus.

Human Body Transformation Technique is a profound magic that allows a wizard to change their appearance through Transformation Technique, even mimicking another person's form entirely. It differs significantly from Disguise Mage and Polyjuice Potion as it doesn't require innate abilities or potion assistance, just superior skill and knowledge.

Due to certain reasons, Hogwarts' library lacks books in this area, so it was evident that Ian guessed wrong at noon about why Grindelwald changed his form.

"Your Ministry of Magic won't admit they lost anything, so the law remains unbroken and intact." Grindelwald approached the desk.

His hands and body still retained the young Lockhart version.

In his early years, Gellert Grindelwald frequently and skillfully used this magic. By employing Human Body Transformation Technique multiple times to disguise himself, he reduced the chance of encountering trouble or performed secret activities. Now, while his physical prowess might not match the past, his mastery of magic and various knowledge has undoubtedly reached a new peak.
