Chapter 441 - Chapter 267: Moon Dew Rose, King's Beloved Steeds

Rose cake, flower cake, rose jam... Various dishes that could be made with roses immediately popped into Naoki's mind.

As for the Moon Stone, it should have the same effect as those that evolve certain Pokemon, right?

Unfortunately, there isn't a Pokemon at the ranch that can use it right now.

"This is truly amazing!" Calyrex looked at its hand.

It never imagined that it could possess such power.

At this moment, Keri's voice came from outside.

"Naoki? Are you in the greenhouse? The stable's finished, bring your two horses over to take a look!"

"Looks like the stable's finished," Naoki said.

"A home for beloved horses... I shall go with you as well," Calyrex said.

Naoki nodded and turned to lead Calyrex outside.

Not far away, two Machamps were loading construction tools and leftover wood onto a truck, while Keri inspected the stable for any issues.

Seeing Naoki come out, she looked up and said, "It's ready, come take a look!"

However, the next second, Keri saw the Pokemon hovering beside Naoki.

That is...

Fragments of memories flashed through Keri's mind.

Naoki Ranch had grown a giant watermelon, inviting townspeople to taste it, and he showed everyone a statue called The King of Bountiful Harvests.

During the Autumn Gratitude Festival, Mayor Thomas had crafted a massive statue of The King of Bountiful Harvests, placing it in the Festival Plaza.

Additionally, her home was adorned with several handmade wooden carvings, each personally crafted by her, and then sold to the townspeople.

That familiar large head, that long royal cloak, that majestic gaze, and that slender, graceful posture.

That Pokemon...

It was Calyrex!

It was as if a loud thunderbolt exploded in her mind; Keri's eyes widened, staring in disbelief at Calyrex.

"Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed.

A long time ago, she had heard the legend of The King of Bountiful Harvests from Naoki, and now, this legendary Pokemon had come to Naoki's ranch!

Did Naoki capture it?

"Keri?" Seeing Keri in a daze, Naoki stepped forward and called her.

Keri snapped out of it, and at that moment, she noticed Calyrex looking at her, even giving her a kindly smile!

"Ca...Calyrex?" Keri couldn't help but ask out loud.

Calyrex nodded slightly and spoke through telepathy: "Indeed, I am Calyrex."

"Oh my gosh!" Keri was even more shocked, unsure as she looked at Naoki: "Is it Calyrex talking to me?"

Naoki: "...Yes, calm down Keri, there's no need to be so surprised."

Keri finally realized she was a bit overly shocked and quickly responded, gaining her composure.

Naoki explained: "From now on, Calyrex will be living at my ranch permanently."

It must be true that Naoki captured it!

Naoki actually captured a legendary Pokemon!

Keri was internally shaken, but then she remembered Naoki's recent travels: "Did you go away recently to find Calyrex?"

Naoki nodded: "Yes."

Just then, at Calyrex's call, Spectrier and Glastrier came running over from two different directions.

Keri looked at the two Horse-type Pokemon she had never seen before and, after a pause, asked: "Are these the Horse-type Pokemon you brought back?"

The running Spectrier and Glastrier came to a standstill beside Calyrex, directing their gaze at the only unfamiliar human present.

Naoki watched the scene and replied: "Yes, these two are Calyrex's beloved horses; they came to the ranch together with Calyrex."

Calyrex's beloved horses...

Keri was stunned.

Naoki calmly stepped forward, examining the luxurious separate stables in front of him, while explaining to Keri:

"The left one is for Spectrier and the right one is for Glastrier, both have been with Calyrex for a long time. In Galar legends, Calyrex once rode them across the Galar Land."

"The legendary king's beloved horses..." Keri felt a bit dreamy.

No wonder she had never seen these two horses before; they were Calyrex's royal steeds!

After the initial shock, Keri gradually calmed down.

She glanced at the snorting Glastrier and Spectrier a few times, then began introducing these two stables to Naoki.

"These are the largest stables available, perfect for Glastrier and Spectrier. The wooden walls below shield from wind and rain, and the back can be lined with soft hay as beds for them."

Naoki nodded, hay... fortunately, the ranch had a haystack, harvested during a past autumn with Koraidon.

Keri continued: "At the front are troughs for food and water. Simply place food and water inside, and these Horse-type Pokemon can just reach their heads out to eat, it's quite convenient."

"Alright, I got it; let's leave it like this for now." Naoki was very satisfied with the two stables.

Hopefully, Spectrier and Glastrier wouldn't dislike them, given they used to dwell in the cold, dilapidated Crown Shrine.

Comparatively, the stable could be considered exceedingly warm and comfortable.

The ranch is so vast, they can roam during the day, munch on carrots, and when night falls, they can return to the stable, sleeping on the soft, warm stacks of hay.
