"My turn, draw a card!" Next, it's Quine's turn, "First, I summon… 'Master Kyonshee'!"
A weird mist begins to appear on Quine's field, as if the air is filled with corpse breath. A ghostly figure gradually takes shape on her field—a being clad in purple, wearing a tall hat, its entire face covered by a rune pasted on the forehead, like an ominous entity climbing out of a coffin in a zombie movie.

"Then for this card," Quine draws a Magic Card, licking the back of the card with her crimson tongue, "This card will let you know the true terror of my vampires!"
For some reason, seeing this action, a phrase involuntarily popped into Youyu's mind—

"Continuous Magic Card - Vampire Territory!" Quine inserts the card into her Duel Disc.
With the appearance of the Magic Card's image, the entire environment becomes eerie. An ominous dark aura prowls around, like evil spirits ready to feast on men. Even the sky above turns crimson under the unknown projection effect, as though stained with blood.
"This Territory allows me to pay 500 LP once per turn to perform an additional summon of a 'Vampire' monster alongside the normal summon.
Come forth, my loyal Vampire... 'Vampire Sorcerer'!"

A sorcerer clad in ancient attire, holding a bat-shaped magic staff, appears on the field. Underneath the brim of the hat is a pale face, with deep green hair and vampire-like fangs at the corners of the mouth.

"A magician of this level is no match for my vampires!" she declares smugly, "Direct battle! Use 'Master Kyonshee' to attack 'Rapid-Fire Magician'!"
The Kyonshee, with the rune on its forehead, agilely dashes forward, swiftly reaching the magician. The magician hurriedly attempts to fend off with his staff but is already a step too late.
As everyone knows, once a mage is approached closely, they're like fish on a chopping board; the Rapid-Fire Magician stands no chance and is kicked into pieces by the Kyonshee.

"It's not over yet, next is Vampire Sorcerer!" Quine continues her attack, "Direct attack!"
"Flip Cover Card," Youyu quickly retaliates, "Trap Card - Opponent's Arrival! Choose one face-up monster on the opponent's field to activate. I can Special Summon a monster from my hand with the same Level as the chosen monster."
Quine frowns slightly: "Both Master Kyonshee and Vampire Sorcerer are Level 4…"
"Correct, so the Level I choose is also 4." Youyu flips open a card in his hand, "Come forth, 'Magician's Valkyria'!"
A young magician girl, whose style and outfit are similar to "Dark Magician Girl," appeared on the field. Dressed in cool leather armor, with snowy skin and a well-proportioned figure, she held a black magic staff. Beneath the wide-brimmed magic hat, long, smooth red hair cascaded down.

"My turn, draw." Youyu glanced at the next drawn card. "Then I'll summon a second 'Magician's Valkyria'!"
With magical luminance and flowing special effects, another beautiful magician girl appeared on the field.

The Valkyrie on Youyu's right leaped gracefully, calling out crisply. Her staff swung out, and a green magical wave struck the body of the Vampire Sorcerer. The latter let out a hoarse scream, its body twisted into an ethereal blur until it vanished.

But the female vampire merely smirked, "Hehe, but at this moment, the ability of the Vampire Sorcerer activates. When Vampire Sorcerer is sent to the graveyard by the opponent, you can add a Dark Attribute 'Vampire' from the deck to your hand.
I choose... 'Vampire Red Baron'. "
So it has a search effect, huh? Unexpected to see such a card in a Duelist's hand from DM.
"Then I'll set another card and end my turn."
Now the two magician girls stood on the field, one on each side, each raising a sweet voice as they crossed their magic staffs in an 'X' shape. Green magical waves connected, forming a transparent magical barrier that protected Youyu's side of the field.
"Oh?" Quine noticed something, "Is it a magician with defensive special abilities?"
"That's right," Youyu smiled, "When 'Magician's Valkyria' exists on the field, the opponent cannot choose any Spellcaster-Type monster other than her as an attack target.
And now there are two 'Magician's Valkyria' on the field..."
"In other words, I can't choose anyone; my attacks are blocked." Quine chuckled lightly, "Quite a brilliant strategy; it's what's called 'absolute defense', right."
Youyu shrugged without saying a word.
Just a normal taunting attack blockade, without effect resistance. It wouldn't count as absolute defense, but it's certainly useful in this environment.
"But this kind of trick won't work against my powerful vampires!" Quine smiled confidently, "Let me show you, even among the Ghouls Group, my prowess as a noble bloodline!"
Youyu squinted. Even if you are a noble bloodline, aren't you still playing cards with me...
Actually, now that I mention it, wasn't there a vampire called Camilla in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX? That vampire claimed to be the last of her clan.
But the world is vast; there's surely more than one vampire nest. Although the species may be on the brink of extinction, there must be remnants in various corners of the world.

Then she lifted another card from her hand, her features twisted, eyes filled with fervor.
"Behold my ace card! The noble aristocrat of our bloodline—
—Vampire Red Baron!"
Darkness surged like a tide from the depths, and a warrior in black armor, wielding a long spear and riding a steed resembling a creature from the Netherworld, emerged from the dark.
He wore a helmet and a mask, and his steed's hooves struck the ground with a clear and rhythmic sound. Countless bats flapped their wings against the crimson backdrop, creating a whirlwind of pitch black.
