Chapter 1176 - Chapter 1118: Demoness

The defeat of the Vampire Fraulein had a greater impact than she had imagined. Shortly after her retreat, the frontline was completely torn apart, and those intruders stormed through the city walls, with some quick-footed ones already charging into the castle.

But from the outcome, this seemed to be Her Majesty the Queen's fortune.

Because if this blundering oaf had broken through even a second later, the fraulein might have truly perished.

The Vampire Lady didn't grasp the situation immediately. To her, these intruders were clearly supposed to want Her Majesty's death, so why did it now seem like this one was trying to help the Queen?

But that wasn't important—the doubt merely flashed in her mind. The Lady didn't waste time pondering such meaningless questions, and she wasn't interested in exploring the bizarre behavior of these fools.

Without looking, she simply waved an arm, and the black boomerang condensed from magic power flew across the entire grand hall towards the entrance.

The fool who barged in didn't even have a chance to summon a monster before being cut in half by the strike, killed instantly.

"Damn!" the slain fool was instantly enraged, "The Lady lacks chivalry, resorting to sneak attacks! If you have the guts, we'll settle this on the card field! Otherwise, the bed works too..."

Of course, he was already dead, so his shouting was naturally meaningless.

The scene of the intruder being instantly killed was clearly reflected in the blood-red pupils of the fraulein being strangled, almost making her heart stop.

Although she didn't know this person or his motives, she could see that he was trying hard to save her before dying.

Another person died for her.

When will all of this finally come to an end?

The Lady turned back, ready to continue her unfinished business: "Hah, I don't know what means you used to manipulate the enemy to protect you.

But it doesn't matter. You will still die, and then I will take over this kingdom.

Don't worry, this country will survive without you. The might of the strong one I serve is enough to crush any enemy, with his help, these invaders will be purged...

... No, it is not just that! With his help, even The Supreme King will be pulled off the throne! Our empire will become the leading force in the Twelfth Dimension, and I will accomplish what no Vampire King in history has ever done before..."

She was grandly explaining to satisfy her narrative desire when suddenly a voice came from the door again: "Lady! Eat my spear!"

The Vampire Lady's expression changed again, as a spear, like a swimming dragon, shot toward her. Almost reflexively, she tossed aside the fraulein she was holding and quickly dodged to the side.

The thick and long spear pierced diagonally into the ground, followed by a lance-wearing lancer landing down.

Apparently, he was a summoned monster spirit.

An uncouth man in a magical girl outfit burst in with a Duel Disc on his arm, shouting with a rugged voice: "For the lady!"

The Lady frowned, unclear about what madness these fools were up to now.

She was about to make a move but heard more shouting from outside. The walls were then blasted open, the grand hall's door panel smashed, and a large group of heroes, samurai, flying dragons, and mechas flooded in, surrounding the Lady under the control of a horde of strangely dressed Duelists.

The Vampire Lady was puzzled: "What do you mean? Why are you helping that woman?"

She pointed to the Thousand Gold lying on the ground, barely clinging to life.

To her, these otherworldly warriors who suddenly arrived to thwart her plans clearly seemed to have reached some agreement with Her Majesty, but the players didn't see it that way at all.

They simply thought, the Vampire Fraulein as the BOSS seemed to have already been beaten by Youyu-san. Based on the current cutscene, the Vampire Fraulein was lying on the ground, unable even to stand, looking completely broken and evidently unable to continue playing cards.

Since the BOSS was defeated by Youyu-san, the spoils logically belonged to Youyu-san, so they temporarily chose to ignore it.

The plot obviously wanted to guide them to hack the Vampire Lady, the traitor.

"...Alright, it appears you all don't plan on making way easily." The Lady flipped her short silver hair, an illusion of a Duel Disc appearing on her arm, "However, if there are too many of you, it wouldn't be fair for me to handle.

You better come at me one by one."

The crowd instantly became excited.

"I'll play a round with my wife first!"

"Bah! How are you all any different from that adulterer, coveting my wife one after another?"

"This dangerous task must be handled by me first!"

The Vampire Lady's gaze swept across them all, and soon she pointed someone out from the crowd: "You!"

Everyone followed the direction of her pointed finger.

Manjome Jun.

Manjome, who originally thought nothing would happen to him following behind all the instructors, was a bit stunned: "You want to duel with me?"

"That's right." The Vampire Lady licked her lips, "If it has to be someone, I still prefer a handsome young man."

"Damn, is it a beauty crush..."

"So realistic, too ugly to even play..."

"No, it's too dangerous," someone advised Manjome, "It might be better if we..."

"No, thanks to all the instructors for caring." Manjome stepped forward, saying firmly, "But since she has named me, retreating out of fear of danger would mean I couldn't face my instructor afterward."

"Heh, quite the spirit in you young one, I like it," the Lady smiled, "Then let me savor it well."

"Duel!" x2

[Manjome, LP 4000]

[Vampire Lady, LP 4000]

"I have the first move, draw a card," said the Vampire Lady, "I Normal Summon 'Gozuki', in Attack Position!"

A pitch-black bull-headed warrior leaped onto the field, brandishing a dark, thick wolf fang club.

[Gozuki, ATK 1700]

"Gozuki's effect, once per turn, sends an Undead-Type monster from the deck to the graveyard."

A card popped out of the deck, which she pulled out and held in her hand.

"I send the Undead-Type 'Vampire Grace' from the deck to the graveyard."

Watching the card being pushed into the graveyard slot of the Duel Disc, the Lady offered a faint smile.

"Lastly, I Set two cards face down, ending my turn."

Looking at the field with only the bull-headed warrior and the Set Cards, Manjome couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.

This first move... although it's also a "Vampire" Card Deck, is it a different strategy compared to the deck used by the Vampire Fraulein who battled with Youyu earlier?

Manjome squinted his eyes.

Since arriving in this dimension, he had only faced mediocre opponents. The Vampire Lady before him was the first strong Other Dimension warrior he encountered.

He, Manjome Jun, didn't come to this world just to sightsee.

After all, he hadn't beaten that wretched Sho↑u Ten↓ge↑n yet, and he wouldn't let that guy go down before he did!

"My turn, draw a card!"
