Chapter 8 - Professional Beauties

"Dad, did Father mention anything about us using his private room at the mansion as a makeshift laboratory?" Angella is probing his Father, Rafael.

"Don't dwell on it too much. I already discussed the room arrangement with Marco last night. We agreed that we'll use the room temporarily until he completes construction on our own laboratory on his property." He informed her.

"Also, he mentioned that we should consider staying here permanently. The outside world remains perilous, with ongoing zombie threats and unpredictable dangers. Being close to each other would ensure we can respond quickly if another dangerous event occurs, preventing unnecessary risks."

"That's reassuring to hear, Dad," she replied, feeling a bit more at ease.

"..."

[...]

The next morning, the maid announced at breakfast that some people had scheduled an appointment with Rafael. Afterwards, Arthur, Angella, and Rafael found themselves waiting in a private chamber, the walls lined with bookshelves and a large oak table. At the same time, a maid fetched the people.

Meanwhile, Arthur sat beside them while looking at the window, gazing deeply outside, lost in thought like a sage who had just been enlightened, his mind clearly preoccupied with something personal.

"Arthur, why are you so quiet? Even during breakfast, you haven't said a word. Is everything okay?" Angella asked gently, concern evident in her voice.

"... Nothing serious, Mom. Just deep in thought," Arthur replied softly, trying to mask his distraction.

"Alright... but if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here to listen."

"... Thanks, Mom."

[...]

Arthur recently discovered at Fort Hood that his mutation not only enhanced genetic abilities but also accelerated his physical maturity. This is the primary reason he strictly forbids his sister from sleeping with him. This morning, upon waking up, he unexpectedly finds himself with morning wood. Immediately recognizing the situation, he discreetly relieved himself in the bathroom.

"... We will not discuss what happened this morning," Arthur murmured quietly to himself.

[... Affirmative]

A few minutes later, a maid gently knocked and opened the door, allowing five elegantly dressed ladies to step inside. They moved with purpose, their expressions a mixture of professionalism and anticipation.

"Good morning, Research Director Rafael," the four ladies greeted formally, their voices respectful but warm.

"Morning," replied a petite woman casually, her demeanor relaxed and confident.

"Hmm, good morning to all of you. It looks like everyone has arrived. Angella, Arthur, I'd like you to meet the team I've assembled," Rafael announced proudly, ignoring the casual greeting, as he gestured to the women.

"You've probably heard of her. This is Anastasia Herrscher, the esteemed head of the Human Biological Research and Development department. She's the leader of this team. We've worked together for many years, and I trust her implicitly to assist with Arthur's diagnosis and lead the team effectively."

Anastasia was a tall woman with long, brunette hair and striking blue eyes, framed behind large glasses. She dressed professionally in a white lab coat over a brown sweater, paired with a black short skirt and white tights. Her expression was composed and serious, exuding a professional aura that conveyed her competence and experience.

She nodded slightly in greeting, her gaze steady and silent.

Arthur and Angella responded with polite nods, returning her greeting with respect.

"This is Avlyn Witherington, a PhD in virology, and she will oversee Arthur's viral condition. She is the top expert within her department. I have high hopes that her insights will clarify the nature of Arthur's ailment."

Avlyn was a striking woman with copper-colored hair styled in soft curls and matching eyes. She wore a white lab coat, a pristine white suit underneath, and a black pencil skirt. Her appearance balanced elegance with professionalism, and she carried herself with a poised confidence.

"Good morning, Dr. Angella, and young master Arthur," she greeted formally.

"Good morning to you too, Dr. Avlyn," Angella replied courteously.

"Good morning as well. Please, just call me Arthur," Arthur said, emphasizing his comfort and openness.

"I'm the patient here"

Avlyn nodded lightly, appreciating his maturity.

Rafael observed their interaction, nodding with pride at his grandchild/successor.

"Now, next is Viviane Lausitz. She's an expert surgeon with a PhD in bioengineering. She will handle Arthur's condition and status directly. Her expertise is quite specialized, which is why I contacted the main department to bring her here."

Viviane was a graceful woman with short black hair and keen eyes. She donned a white lab coat over a blue dress, complemented by black stockings, radiating confidence and professionalism.

"Nice to meet you, Dr. Angella, and you too, Arthur," she said with a refined bow.

"Nice to meet you as well, Dr. Viviane," Angella replied politely.

"Likewise, Dr. Viviane," Arthur said courteously with his expressionless face.

"This is Amelia Bluhen. She holds a PhD in plant biotechnology and will oversee the plant mutation project you requested, Angella. As the lead researcher on this specialized project, Amelia has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I've also heard that she owns an herb laboratory equipped with advanced facilities that can significantly accelerate the growth of herbs, which will be highly beneficial for our research."

Amelia was a petite woman with a delicate frame, golden blonde hair that shimmered in the light, and matching bright eyes that conveyed both intelligence and warmth. She typically wears a lab coat paired with a formal suit and a stylish mini skirt, complemented by black garter-belted stockings. Her cheerful smile and angelic appearance made her look innocent and charming, yet her choice of attire was undeniably provocative.

"Hallo~" she greeted with a wave, her voice carrying a friendly tone accented by her German heritage. Her sweet smile made her seem approachable.

(So bright!) Arthur thought, momentarily overwhelmed by her radiant presence.

"Hello to you too, Dr. Amelia," Angella responded with an awkward but courteous smile.

"...Hello," Arthur echoed, feeling a little shy due to her overwhelming cuteness she exuded.

"This is Renaline Adrestia. She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Analysis. Renaline will work on the mechanical structures within Arthur's body and explore the systemic functions behind his mysterious condition. I specifically recruited her for our new department focused on cyborg research, bio-machine hybrid technologies, and the mutation techniques I plan to develop next."

Renaline was a petite woman with light brown hair that fell softly around her shoulders and striking green eyes that seemed lively and curious. She wore a practical lab coat over casual clothes, giving her a relaxed yet professional appearance. Her body was slightly unusual, her proportions appeared exaggerated relative to her height, giving her a youthful, almost childlike look with a bombshell body.

"Morning! Now, Grandpa Rafael, do you have the documents? I need to start my research and begin developing my own Android. Also, thanks for the cool lab coat, you know how to impress!" she said cheerfully, her tone playful.

"Hah~... you know I'd fire you for disrespect if you weren't a PhD achiever at such a young age and if I didn't know your parents."

Rafael, with his signature expressionless face and tired demeanor, replied dryly.

Rafael and Renaline had a long-standing relationship, dating back to when Renaline was a child attending a medical technology business meeting at her parents' company. Her father and Rafael had been friends for many years, so Rafael had taken an early interest in her future, sponsoring her education and research pursuits, recognizing her exceptional intelligence.

"Don't overthink it, Grandpa," Renaline said with a teasing smile.

"Hah~... alright. You all can take a seat. The documents are right here," Rafael replied, gesturing towards a set of files on the table.

Meanwhile, Arthur couldn't help but gaze at Renaline's body, fascinated by her proportions.

[Body measurements: Chest: 42 inches, Waist: 29 inches, Hips: 37 inches]

[Height: 143 cm]

[Weight: 41 kg]

(Wow~, no!!)

(You're analyzing so quickly! When do you do that?)

[While entering the room, as a matter of fact, I've already measured all of them .]

(... Still, that body proportion is out of scale for her height, no!)

(Why are you analyzing them without my permission?)

[We share one mind and body. Do I need your consent for that?]

(... You have a point.)

[Can I reveal this information to you?]

(... Later.)

[Affirmative.]

The room was lively with discussion for many hours, and later on, a helicopter descended onto the helipad near the back of the mansion. Marco and Christopher waited at a safe distance, watching as soldiers stepped out to escort Marshal Edwin.

"Brother, how have you been? You should have called me if you were planning to visit with so many escorts," Marco said, approaching him.

"Sorry, Marco. It's an emergency," Edwin replied, his tone serious.

"What's going on, Uncle?" Christopher asked anxiously, wishing it wasn't like he was thinking about.

"The government has decided that you, Christopher, will need to leave for Taiwan tomorrow immediately."

"What!"
