Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: Eight Gates Released

[Discipleship Task for Might Guy Established]

[Cultivation Task: Obtain a training plan that can enhance strength]

[Reward: Depends on task completion]

Seeing the cultivation task that Might Guy triggered, Mokgetsu felt a bit peculiar.

He originally thought the task would be to defeat Kakashi, but it turned out to be about getting a training plan.

Can this really be called a "cultivation task"?

Mokgetsu pondered the causes and effects leading to the cultivation task, forming some guesses.

The disciple's thoughts determined the content of the cultivation task. Obito felt that with his current abilities, securing first place in the Junior Ninjutsu Tournament was unlikely, hence the task to achieve first place.

When Obito found out the tournament would be held, there were only two weeks left until it started.

With such short time, Obito thought that only with Mokgetsu's help, he might have a chance to secure first place.

Meanwhile, although Might Guy wanted to defeat Kakashi, he wasn't in a rush, nor did he think he had to seek Mokgetsu's help to do so.

Perhaps because they had only known each other for a month and he was purely benefiting, Might Guy felt embarrassed to trouble Mokgetsu too much.

All these reasons added together, resulting in Might Guy's peculiar cultivation task.

"Teacher, I'll leave the training plan to you then." Might Guy said gratefully.

"That's no trouble at all. Seeing how actively you want to get stronger, it makes me happy as your teacher." Mokgetsu said as he patted Might Guy on the head.

"For a teacher, the best reward is seeing their disciple grow stronger." Mokgetsu's expression was sincere.

This wasn't an act; it was truly Mokgetsu's heartfelt words.

Hearing it again, Might Guy felt something different in his heart.

Perhaps he should rely a bit more on Mokgetsu.

The two went together to the cultivation grounds.

Obito had almost completed tree-climbing practice and would next start practicing water walking.

Might Guy was still strengthening his physique through various exercises.

Shisui, meanwhile, was practicing Genjutsu with Mokgetsu's Shadow Clone.

Mokgetsu himself was completing Might Guy's cultivation task, which meant creating a new training plan for him.

This wasn't something to be scribbled down carelessly; it required a lot of consideration.

You can't just increase training intensity to get stronger; you also need to consider the body's capacity.

As the sky darkened, the three of them completed the training Mokgetsu had set, and Mokgetsu also finished Might Guy's new training plan.

Mokgetsu called Might Guy over alone and handed him the training plan.

[Cultivation task completed; received rewards: Training Elixir ×20, Chakra +150]

[Training Elixir: Effectively relieves physical fatigue and heals hidden injuries in the body]

The task settled directly, and the rewards were better than Mokgetsu had imagined.

After all, the task was really simple; Mokgetsu thought earning some Chakra was already a gain.

Yet there were twenty Training Elixirs as well, truly a pleasant surprise.

This made him even more eager to see what rewards would come from Obito's task completion.

Since comparatively, Obito's cultivation task is definitely more complex than Might Guy's.

Mokgetsu's intent stirred, and pretending to rummage through the ninja pouch, he took out a Training Elixir from his System Space and handed it to Might Guy.

"Here, eat this." Mokgetsu smiled.

Among his three disciples, Might Guy probably needed this the most because his training intensity was too high.

"Thank you, Teacher. What is this?" Might Guy asked curiously as he took the elixir.

"It's something beneficial for you. Go ahead, eat it." Mokgetsu explained.

Trusting Mokgetsu, Might Guy directly consumed the elixir.

The moment after swallowing the elixir, Might Guy immediately felt a warmth throughout his body, sweeping away his fatigue, instantly revitalizing him.

"Is this one of those expensive secret medicines?" Might Guy speculated, as the pill Mokgetsu gave him was incredibly miraculous, making him feel much more relieved after consuming it.

A secret medicine usually refers to medications with special functions, typically made from specific materials through unique methods.

A common and ordinary secret medicine is the Soldier Pill, which can restore a certain amount of Chakra, and is relatively inexpensive.

The more potent and unique the secret medicine, the more expensive it is. Might Guy guessed that the secret medicine he just consumed must not be cheap.

"You've already eaten it, so don't think too much." Mokgetsu didn't provide Might Guy with the answer.

He wasn't sure about the price either, since it was provided by the system, whether Konoha sells it was another question, and given that his question implied he already had a vague assumption.

[You gifted a disciple a Training Elixir, receiving a significant boost in gratitude; gained reward: Eight Gates (first three gates)]

Mokgetsu instantly received many memories about cultivating the Eight Gates, and he felt he could unlock a certain limitation in his body.

Though he could only open the first three gates, Mokgetsu was quite satisfied with it. With the memory of the technique, he could continue cultivating to unlock more gates.

However, Mokgetsu wouldn't invest further in the Eight Gates, as spending time on other areas would yield better results.

Might Guy may have a normal talent for ninjutsu but not for Taijutsu. Even if both trained for decades and both opened the Death Gate, Might Guy could heavily injure Six Paths Madara, whereas Might Duy couldn't finish off the Seven-Swords Ninja.

Opening just three gates suits him perfectly because the first three gates have the least impact on the body compared to the subsequent gates which require high bodily resilience.

"Teacher, I will definitely become the strongest!" Might Guy exclaimed, moved to tears.

To prevent him from feeling burdened by the expensive elixir, Mokgetsu didn't even disclose what he gave him.

If he hadn't figured it out himself, Mokgetsu might have told him it was just a jelly bean.

Mokgetsu handed a handkerchief to the tearful Might Guy, smiling gently:

"You will become the strongest, I believe it."

Even without his assistance, Might Guy would reach the peak in Taijutsu through his own effort.

Mokgetsu believed, the Might Guy of this world would only go further.

"I should have gained quite a bit of trust now; I wonder when I'll have a disciple reaching trust level four." Mokgetsu thought as he watched Might Guy's figure fade into the distance.

Today, Mokgetsu didn't go to the main district to run into Minato and Kushina, instead choosing to stay in the Southern Border Forest.

After over a month of crossing worlds, although he had the idea of developing the Rasengan out of convenience, there wasn't any time.

Recently, he read a lot of books about Fuinjutsu and Curse Seals, needing some time to absorb them, and during this time, he wanted to develop the Rasengan.

With the detailed process from the original work, combined with his grasp of Form Transformation, developing the Rasengan wasn't difficult.

The main purpose of developing the Rasengan wasn't for combat use, but for other applications.
