Chapter 134 - Chapter 45: Honoo Breathing Trait Manifests

Looking at Obito, who seemed to be comforting him yet wore a face full of schadenfreude, Shisui felt a bit complicated.

He wanted to say that the comfort was good and not needed next time, but he let it go.

Shisui decided to continue training for a while, while Obito went back with Nohara Rin.

Although Obito and Nohara Rin weren't headed entirely the same way, there was still quite some distance between them.

"Rin, how is your Medical Ninjutsu training going?" Obito asked with a smile on the way back.

"It's going smoothly, I feel like I've learned a lot of useful new knowledge, and now I can continue with the most basic healing," Nohara Rin replied.

"If you get injured in the future, make sure to come to me for treatment," Nohara Rin said with a gentle smile.

Seeing Nohara Rin's smile, Obito was a little dazed, as if he saw blooming flowers, then scratched his head and laughed:

"Hehe, then I'll trouble you, Rin."

"Treating you is not a trouble, but you should also be careful to avoid injuries. Don't become careless just because someone can heal you," Nohara Rin said seriously looking into Obito's eyes.

"Being injured is very painful."

"I am Uchiha Obito, the strongest student in the fourth grade, it won't be that easy for me to get hurt," Obito said patting his chest confidently.

"But Obito, you've never taken first place in the combat rankings, so you can't really be considered the strongest in the fourth grade, can you?" Nohara Rin reminded him.

"But during the summer special training, I did defeat Guy, so it counts," Obito said without changing his expression.

"Hmm, saying it like that does make some sense," Nohara Rin thought and didn't find it stubborn.

"I hope you can keep it up, Obito. If you continue like this, you'll definitely become an excellent ninja." Nohara Rin said encouragingly with her fists clenched.

Obito's face turned slightly red, and his fighting spirit had already exceeded its limits. He planned to continue training for a while after returning home.

After reaching their separation point, they waved goodbye to each other.

"It would be great to be paired with Rin after graduation," walking down the street, Uchiha Obito thought with a smile, imagining a very beautiful picture in his mind.

He and Nohara Rin training together, performing dangerous missions together, Obito heroically saving her when she's in danger, getting accidentally injured, and Nohara Rin using Medical Ninjutsu to heal him.

The two of them helping each other complete various high-level missions together, ultimately becoming a famous duo in the Ninja World.

Although it's usually a three-person team, Obito didn't care who the third person would be, as long as it wasn't Kakashi.

He thought it might not be Kakashi because Kakashi graduated several years ago and already had his own teammates and teacher.

"Granny, do you need help?" Obito suddenly noticed an elderly woman who seemed to have fallen down and rushed over to ask.

"My legs are not very steady, could you help me to the side to rest a bit?" The elderly woman asked with a frown.

"I can carry you to the hospital to have it checked, Granny. It wouldn't be good if your bones got hurt," Obito said.

The elderly's bodies are more fragile, and this fall could easily have hurt their bones or something.

"Don't worry, Granny. Even though I'm small, I'm a ninja. Carrying one person or even three is not a problem," Obito said confidently.

"A ninja, huh..." The old woman looked a bit hesitant and didn't really want to trouble this little child Obito.

However, under Obito's enthusiastic persuasion, she eventually agreed, and Obito directly carried the elderly woman and dashed towards Konoha Hospital.

After delivering the elder to the hospital, Obito even asked about the elderly's home address and went to inform her family.

Only after notifying the family did Obito continue walking home.

He hadn't walked far when he noticed an old man carefully going down the steps with a walking stick.

Without saying a word, Obito rushed over to help the old man safely down the stairs.

"What a good child, thank you." The elderly man praised him with a kind smile.

"No problem at all, just lending a hand," Obito waved off with a cheerful smile.

Shortly after, Obito saw an elderly taking care of a child, and the child's toy got stuck in a tree.

Obito gathered chakra in his feet, leaped twice onto the tree, retrieved the toy, and returned it.

"Big brother is amazing! Are you a ninja?" the little child asked excitedly.

"Not a full-fledged ninja yet, but almost," Obito responded with a silly grin.

Then, Obito encountered an elder carrying a large bundle on the road, helped him deliver the heavy item home, and found himself back at the spot where he and Nohara Rin had parted ways.

By the time Obito got home, it was already late, and the sky was completely dark.

"I wanted to train for a bit longer, but I'll practice for a little and then rest," Obito thought as he checked the time.

Helping people had consumed a lot of his time, but Obito didn't regret it. Even if he returned to the moment he separated from Nohara Rin, he would take the same actions.

Losing a bit of training time wouldn't affect him much, but if he hadn't taken the elder to the hospital, something unfortunate could have really happened.

Then Obito went into his yard and started his Breathing Technique training.

"Heat, burn, flame..." Obito inhaled a large amount of oxygen into his body, trying to understand the essence of the Breath of Flame.

But something unexpected happened to Obito. He suddenly felt a sensation he had never experienced before; his body became hot, and the chakra meridians through which the air flowed turned warm.

Obito suddenly had a thought and gathered chakra in his palm before performing a nature transformation.

Whoosh!

Instantly, a fist-sized flame surged from his palm. Obito could clearly sense the temperature of the flame.

"The conversion speed of the flame has increased," Obito said in amazement.

He couldn't see the exact chakra value like Mokgetsu, but he noticed that the speed of his nature transformation was different from normal.

Obito considered and resumed normal breathing, stopped using the Breathing Technique, and then gathered chakra again. This time, with the same amount of time, the flame on his palm was obviously smaller.

"So eating spicy food helps that much with practicing the Breath of Flame?" Obito was excited and surprised.

His condition perfectly matched Mokgetsu's description of the Breath of Flame.

Obito wished he could go buy two spicy peppers right now to munch on and continue his training.

The spiciness was uncomfortable, but to not disappoint Rin and Mokgetsu, and to become an excellent ninja, the temporary pain was bearable.

The next day, Obito shared his good news about his progress with Mokgetsu.

Mokgetsu took a look with his appraisal, unaware of being surprised, saw the proficiency soar from sixteen points to twenty-one points, successfully surpassing Might Guy's nineteen points.
