"Those of you who have learned the Instant Body Jutsu, step forward." Teacher Mokgetsu spoke to the members of Group A.
Shisui, Obito, Might Guy, Asuma, and a few others who had already learned the Instant Body Jutsu stepped out as instructed by Mokgetsu.
"For the last two weeks, besides basic training, the primary focus will be on cultivating the Instant Body Jutsu." Mokgetsu outlined the upcoming training schedule.
He addressed the students who had already learned the Instant Body Jutsu:
"Those of you who have already mastered it, you can decide how to use your training time for this section. You may continue to learn from me, or practice according to your own ideas."
The Instant Body Jutsu he was going to teach was not Soru but the commonly taught Instant Body Jutsu of Konoha, the one he initially taught to Shisui, a D-level Taijutsu.
This Instant Body Jutsu holds the same status in Konoha as the Three-Body Jutsu does at the Ninja Academy; it's not hard but very practical Taijutsu.
Compared to Instant Body Jutsus that involve Nature Transformation, like Water Instant Body or Lighting Instant Body, the advantage of this D-level Instant Body Jutsu is that it has low requirements and is easy to learn. It's very suitable for Genin and Chunin, even some Jonin still use it due to its high cost-effectiveness.
Mokgetsu had previously had students engage in Chakra control training to build physical strength, which served as a foundation for learning the Instant Body Jutsu.
The key to using the Instant Body Jutsu lies in channeling Chakra into the soles of the feet and legs, enhancing the body with Chakra to achieve high-speed movement.
There are two key points here: one is that the body must be able to withstand the stimulation of Chakra, and the other is to control the amount of Chakra used.
If the body cannot endure the rapid movements stimulated by Chakra, it will suffer damage, and fatigue will quickly set in during combat, reducing speed.
The soles of the feet are the hardest area to concentrate Chakra on. It's challenging enough to gather Chakra there, let alone control the output. If too much Chakra is used, it not only wastes Chakra but also affects the execution of the technique.
"So they've all mastered the Instant Body Jutsu, no wonder their speed suddenly changes during combat," Shiranui Genma thought as he looked at those who stepped out.
The people who had just stepped out were primarily those with good results in the practical tests, either recent Genin graduates or strong current students.
"I have to hurry and learn this Instant Body Jutsu, or I'll definitely not perform well in the final practical test," Ebisu thought to himself.
After last week's incident, he had given up hope on life at the Ninja School and instead focused on researching his future path as a ninja.
He didn't want to get defeated in the first round when the Third Hokage came to watch the exam; at least he wanted to last two rounds.
After a brief explanation, Mokgetsu began teaching the students.
He demonstrated the Instant Body Jutsu a few times and then had the students practice based on what he had just explained, while he guided them from the sidelines.
When students made mistakes in practice, he would promptly point them out and help correct them.
Mokgetsu didn't focus solely on Group A; his main body circulated through Groups A, B, and C in sequence, leaving a Shadow Clone to assist each group.
If his main body stayed with one group all the time, other students wouldn't receive the benefit of his teaching skills.
Then Mokgetsu moved on to Group B.
Group B's cultivation progress lagged one level behind Group A. Three weeks had passed, and some members were still engaged in Chakra control training.
However, this was expected by Mokgetsu. His requirement for Group B was merely to complete the Chakra control training, strengthen their Taijutsu, and improve their Three-Body Jutsu levels.
Meeting these targets would already make them more proficient than many Genin graduates.
Some Genin graduates hadn't even mastered tree climbing, only knew the Three-Body Jutsu at a basic level, and had average Taijutsu skills.
Completing the Chakra control training would not only add tree climbing and water walking to their skillset, but it would also lay the foundation for learning more Ninjutsu in the future. One can never have too much Taijutsu proficiency, and being adept at the Three-Body Jutsu can produce unexpected results in combat.
Those who hadn't completed Chakra control training focused on strengthening their Chakra control, while those who had moved on to practicing Taijutsu, the Three-Body Jutsu, and various other physical exercises.
With high proficiency in the Three-Body Jutsu and the added benefit of taught skills, students improved their Three-Body Jutsu proficiency rapidly. Mokgetsu noted that some students had Shadow Clone Jutsu proficiency surpassing entry-level three hundred points.
After teaching Three-Body Jutsu to Group B for a while, Mokgetsu moved on to Group C.
Group C was progressing the slowest and had just started Chakra control training not long ago.
This was partly due to the composition of Group C, which consisted of either lower-grade students or average fourth-grade students.
These students either had short training durations, hadn't paid attention to their foundational training, or simply had less talent, hence their slower progress.
It wasn't that Mokgetsu didn't want to teach more; he could only teach this way. Pushing Group C to match the progress of Groups A and B would merely yield counterproductive results.
Moreover, after three weeks of training, some students had already advanced to Group B.
"The secret to tree climbing is primarily finding that subtle Chakra amount that can stick to the tree, and then maintaining it unchanged." Mokgetsu walked effortlessly up a large tree, explaining the technique countless times.
While the words were the same, depending on different stages of your training, hearing the same sentence could evoke varying feelings.
"Hehe, Teacher Mokgetsu, I should count as having completed my training, right?" Anko ran swiftly on the tree, running vertically, and then horizontally.
"Yes, you've completed the tree climbing training. Next, practice the Substitution Jutsu and Transformation Jutsu. We'll start water walking practice in the afternoon." Mokgetsu nodded approvingly.
Anko had quite the knack for ninjutsu, and her learning pace was faster than most students in the three groups. To accomplish the tree climbing training so quickly while balancing other forms of training was impressive, especially considering that she only started training this semester.
"Yay!" Anko jumped around joyfully on the tree upon receiving Mokgetsu's approval.
Having successfully completed her training, Anko didn't forget her two close friends and immediately dashed over to where Kamizuki Izumo and Hagane Kotetsu were still testing the trees, pointing things out.
"Don't be afraid of falling, focus Chakra on your feet, close your eyes, and charge forward." Anko instructed earnestly.
Hagane Kotetsu twitched at the corners of his mouth; practicing according to Anko's method would have him being fed meals for life, as his legs would break, and charging forward with eyes closed was bound to end in disaster.
"I'm the student that Teacher Mokgetsu personally evaluated as having completed the training, so don't take my advice lightly," Anko said playfully, taking revenge on her two friends for tricking her into not reviewing before.
"Alas, how tragic it is for us brothers to have fallen to such a state," Kamizuki Izumo said to Hagane Kotetsu with a face full of lament.
"Curses, if there was a theoretical exam, how could Anko the scoundrel dare be so brazen!" Hagane Kotetsu lamented why the special training didn't include theoretical exams, as otherwise, Anko wouldn't be able to boast so unchallenged.
Motivated by Anko, Hagane Kotetsu and Kamizuki Izumo trained even harder.
Thus, Mokgetsu continued cycling through the three groups until class was dismissed.
[Completed a large class teaching session]
[Evaluation: A]
[Reward received: Wind Release: Gale Palm, Lighting Release: Chidori]
Looking at the system rewards, Mokgetsu's mind recalled memories about the Chidori.
Naruto has various Rasengan techniques, and Sasuke also has various Chidori techniques. This too is a highly adaptable Ninjutsu.
