Chapter 327 - Chapter 188: The Raikage Suffers a Loss for the Second Time

Others might make the Fourth Raikage sad and regretful if they die, but if Motomu dies, it wouldn't just be a simple regret; it would make him extremely angry.

"Don't continue to act, just stay by Bee's side obediently," the Fourth Raikage said sternly.

"As you command!" Motomu accepted the Fourth Raikage's good intentions.

After severely injuring Motomu with one strike, Minato continued to focus his attention on the Fourth Raikage to prevent him from launching a rapid attack on Obito and the others.

Seeing Minato take away a Jonin, Kakashi instantly felt relieved, picked up the White Fang Short Blade, and dashed toward the nearest Hidden Cloud Ninja at high speed.

"Breath of Flame, Full Concentration Breathing!"

In such a crisis, Obito could no longer worry about much else, directly activating his Two-Tomoe Sharingan and entering the Breath of Flame Full Concentration Breathing state, pushing his strength to the peak he could currently achieve, and with a kunai in hand, he blocked two Hidden Cloud Ninjas by himself.

"Sharingan!" Upon seeing Obito's eyes turn blood-red, the two Hidden Cloud Ninjas instantly recognized it as the bloodline limit of the Uchiha Clan of Konoha and gave up the idea of attacking Nohara Rin, instead teaming up to take on Obito.

At this moment, Obito was grateful that Mokgetsu had given them dodge training. With the strong observational power of the Sharingan and excellent maneuvering, even if the two Hidden Cloud Ninjas used Nin-Taijutsu together, they couldn't touch his clothing.

However, Obito didn't have a good opportunity to attack either. The saying "two fists cannot defeat four hands" indeed held true; facing two opponents, Obito could only keep the upper hand but couldn't quickly defeat either of them.

But Obito wasn't anxious because there was only one enemy on Kakashi's side. Once Kakashi dealt with his opponent and came to help him, the two Hidden Cloud Ninjas wouldn't last for more than a few moves.

Before Kakashi could defeat his opponent and come to assist Obito, Nohara Rin saw the surrounding environment temporarily become safe, so she ran toward the besieged Obito.

Obito and the Hidden Cloud Ninja simultaneously noticed Nohara Rin's arrival.

"This Uchiha is difficult to deal with. You hold him off, and I'll capture his companion to threaten him," one of the Hidden Cloud Ninjas said decisively.

He thought Nohara Rin's strength must be very weak; otherwise, she would have used Ninjutsu to help long ago. Why would she just stand by and watch?

Before his partner could respond, the Hidden Cloud Ninja rushed out directly.

The other Hidden Cloud Ninja, although internally cursing, knew this was the only way to have a chance of winning. If they continued to fight normally, their defeat was just a matter of time.

Seeing the Hidden Cloud Ninja charging straight toward Nohara Rin, Obito knew in his heart that this Hidden Cloud Ninja was definitely underestimating the enemy, so he only watched out of the corner of his eye while focusing on dealing with the remaining Hidden Cloud Ninja.

Originally, he was at a disadvantage in a one-against-two battle, let alone a one-on-one match; the remaining Hidden Cloud Ninja instantly had several bloodstains on his body.

"Hold on!" he silently cheered for his teammate, while the departing Hidden Cloud Ninja threw a punch at Nohara Rin's head, intending to knock her out.

"Monster Strength Fist!"

Nohara Rin concentrated a large amount of Chakra in her arm and then exploded, swinging her delicate fist to meet the Hidden Cloud Ninja's punch.

Since it was her first real combat, Nohara Rin was worried the power wouldn't be enough, and she used half of her Chakra in this punch.

Seeing Nohara Rin's white, slender arm, the Hidden Cloud Ninja felt extremely disdainful inwardly; how could such a small girl with thighs not even as thick as his arm hope to compete with him, a ninja who had long practiced Taijutsu?

Bang!

A figure flew back at high speed, slamming hard into a tree, breaking the tree in the process.

Seeing his teammate fly backward, the Hidden Cloud Ninja fighting Obito was dumbfounded. Is this how you capture someone?

His teammate was also dumbfounded; the Hidden Cloud Ninja who got hit was even more dumbfounded. He couldn't believe his strength had lost to a little girl who looked so slender.

But the immense pain and blood from his palm reminded him it was the truth; he found it extremely difficult to move even a finger, feeling as though the bones in his palm were all broken.

Bang!

Obito seized the opportunity, using a Leaf Whirlwind to kick the remaining Hidden Cloud Ninja away.

The Hidden Cloud Ninja on Kakashi's side already had several exaggerated wounds bleeding profusely, and he was in terrible condition.

Just as the Fourth Raikage continued to attack Minato, Minato used the Flying Thunder God technique once again.

The Fourth Raikage quickly scanned around; he had remembered all the positions and could launch an attack on Minato at any time with his high speed.

But something unexpected happened once again: this time, Minato appeared directly beside Killer Bee, pointing a kunai at his head.

"There shouldn't be a kunai inscribed with that jutsu over there," the Fourth Raikage's face turned extremely grim.

"Could it be that he can inscribe that kind of jutsu on people's bodies?" The Fourth Raikage thought of the possibility when he remembered Motomu, who was injured by Minato.

The Flying Thunder God Kunai that was embedded in Motomu had been pulled out already, and only Motomu and Minato had direct contact there.

Killer Bee, with his extremely fast reflexes and decisive action, almost immediately pointed his sword backward.

Unlike the previously attacking Raikage, Killer Bee, because he was always in a prepared state, had a chance to counterattack due to his extreme reflexes.

"If you want mutual destruction, then let's do it. I'm not afraid," Killer Bee said calmly without turning his head.

Though young, Killer Bee understood the harshness of being a ninja and believed his big brother would avenge him, making an injured Namikaze Minato no match for his brother.

"Though we're opponents, I appreciate you. Your reflexes and decisiveness are worthy of a ninja slayer," Minato praised.

From initially seeing through the Flying Thunder God technique to now reacting to his attack with extreme reflexes, Minato believed Killer Bee would have a place in the future of the Ninja World.

"How about everyone stops and takes a step back? We have no conflicts in our mission, nor are we slaughtering each other on a battlefield," Minato continued.

He didn't intend to kill Killer Bee because that would enrage the Fourth Raikage, whose strength was formidable, and if he went berserk to kill Obito and the others now, Minato would have a hard time protecting them.

Previous restraint in not killing Motomu, but instead severely injuring and tossing him over, was partly for the next steps of offensive strategy and partly to prevent breaking the rapport during negotiations.

He saw potential in both Killer Bee's and Obito and Kakashi's future; when they fully grew, who would be stronger wasn't certain.

The Fourth Raikage, after some thought, also commanded a ceasefire, letting the three Hidden Cloud Ninja support each other without continuing to attack.

Killer Bee was willing to trade his life to injure Namikaze Minato, but the Fourth Raikage did not want his good brother to die like this, even if he could kill the injured Namikaze Minato afterward, he wasn't willing.

Words from Minato and the Fourth Raikage were like suddenly pressing a pause button. The enemies stopped attacking, following Minato's words; then Obito, Kakashi, and Rin stopped as well, standing together to protect their client.

"Namikaze Minato, I'll remember you, you're quite remarkable," the Fourth Raikage said in a deep voice.

Before encountering Namikaze Minato, he had only suffered losses in front of that same Lightning Chakra Mode Hidden Mist Ninja and never under any other ninja; this was the second time.

"I won't forget you either," Minato replied seriously.

He had a premonition that this would not be their last encounter.

The Hidden Cloud and Konoha were at war, and with their strength, they might meet again in battle.

In the end, both parties went their separate ways; the Fourth Raikage took his subordinates to find a place to heal, while Minato and his companions continued to complete their escort mission.

Due to this encounter, Minato rapidly took Obito and the others back to the Land of Fire as soon as the mission was completed, to prevent encountering such dangerous situations again.
