Chapter 427 - Chapter 252: Five Self-Created Ninjutsu (Part 2)

Even during the lunch break, Mokgetsu still encouraged everyone to maintain the proper breathing technique.

Due to the exertion in the morning, the situation in the afternoon was even more challenging, with more people unable to maintain the breathing technique.

When the day's training ended, Mokgetsu announced everyone's training results.

"Kakashi, thirty-four rounds; Obito, thirty-two rounds; Guy, thirty-one rounds; Shisui, twenty-eight rounds."

"Everyone worked hard today. You can go back and rest early. Tomorrow will have the same training content," Mokgetsu reminded.

For now, Kakashi and the others can still get a good rest, but when it comes to the stage where they need to maintain the breathing technique even while sleeping, it'll be hard for them to sleep well.

"Coming back tomorrow!" Upon hearing this, Obito staggered and almost fell to the ground.

Since graduation, Mokgetsu rarely held continuous training sessions, usually about once a week.

In a daze, Obito seemed to see a mountain of exercises crashing towards him, and a miserable life was about to begin.

"Although the training is a bit tough, I believe you will quickly finish the constant state training, and then I'll prepare a feast to celebrate," Mokgetsu encouraged with a smile.

Obito swallowed back the words he wanted to say. Mokgetsu had so much faith in them; how could he give up easily?

The abundance of exercises couldn't be blamed on Mokgetsu. It was his own issue with not having mastered the breathing technique fully. If the breathing technique were practiced well, and he could maintain it consistently, there wouldn't be a need to do the exercises.

Due to the continuing summer training program, the next day Mokgetsu just sent a shadow clone to instruct Obito, while the real body went to teach the students participating in the summer training program.

At this point, the summer training program was about halfway through.

On this day, Mokgetsu gathered B Group and A Group to announce a new course.

"B Group and A Group will be taking classes together temporarily. Next, we'll be learning ninjutsu!" Mokgetsu announced.

C Group was also to learn, but due to their course lag, it would be their turn in a few days.

"We actually get to learn ninjutsu." Some students beamed with joy, thinking that learning nature transformation was good enough, not expecting that this free training program would even teach ninjutsu.

B Group and A Group were almost all Genin, with only a few exceptional Ninja School students, but for Genin, having the chance to learn ninjutsu with Mokgetsu was a rare opportunity.

After all, he was the fierce person capable of fighting tailed beasts and an exceptionally strong educator.

"I wonder what kind of ninjutsu it will be." Shiranui Genma was very much looking forward to it.

He still remembered Mokgetsu's performance on the first day of the training. If it were those five ninjutsu, truly mastering them would be an absolute win.

"This course is not compulsory. If any of you think these ninjutsu won't benefit you much, you can choose not to learn them, because the ninjutsu I'm about to teach are some low-level ones I created myself," Mokgetsu explained.

Upon deciding to teach nature transformation, Mokgetsu developed five ninjutsu for instructional use, after all, just studying nature transformation without learning specific ninjutsu isn't helpful in combat.

Despite mastering quite a few ninjutsu of not very high levels, for most students, even managing the C-rank Fire Phoenix Jutsu or Great Fireball Technique wasn't something easily accomplished.

Taking this into consideration, Mokgetsu used his extensive knowledge of ninjutsu to further reduce the power, developing five D-rank ninjutsu.

"Teacher Mokgetsu developed these himself!" Asuma became spirited. Even if they were of a lower level, he believed there was more potential in them than regular ninjutsu.

Because Mokgetsu was a ninjutsu genius, Asuma remembered that when he first knew Mokgetsu, he could only use Fire Release and Water Release, but now could utilize ninjutsu of the Five Great Attributes casually.

"Fire Release: Small Fireball Jutsu!"

Mokgetsu had the students spread out a bit, then formed seals and exhaled a fireball half a person's height, leaving scorched marks on the ground.

Fire Release is currently Mokgetsu's strongest ninjutsu, not only has the nature transformation level reached the perfect level, but he also has extensive proficiency in Fire Release ninjutsu, so this D-rank Fire Release was the quickest for Mokgetsu to develop.

Mokgetsu also casually developed advanced versions, the C-rank Large Fireball Jutsu, and the B-rank Fireball Sea Jutsu.

"Wind Release: Wind Slash!"

Mokgetsu formed seals again, his palm unleashing fierce winds leaving deep cuts on the large tree beside him.

This is the hardest among the five low-level ninjutsu developed by Mokgetsu because for Wind Release to be offensive, the level of nature transformation cannot be low.

"Water Release: Water Shock!"

"Lighting Release: Electric Light Beam!"

"Earth Release: Rock Eruption!"

Mokgetsu quickly demonstrated the remaining three ninjutsu; Water Shock spat a stream of water, Electric Light Beam emitted a stream of electricity, and Rock Eruption controlled the ground to thrust up rock pillars for attacks.

He generally had further development ideas for these ninjutsu, for instance, Water Shock could have its form transformation increased for more detail, enhancing penetration power, while Electric Light Beam could advance towards the Pseudo-Darkness path.

The reward of an S-level evaluation made Mokgetsu very satisfied, so he intended to keep hosting these training sessions. If these participating ninjas continued to join in, they could learn advanced ninjutsu.

"If last year's training were like this, it would have been great," a student couldn't help but exclaim after watching.

He had already graduated a few months ago, but his supervising teacher hadn't yet started teaching them ninjutsu, only leading them in some training.

If he had mastered such ninjutsu during school days, he'd truly be ahead of the curve.

Being able to master techniques like Great Fireball and Phoenix Fire Jutsu at the Genin stage would count as excellent. Students like him who had just graduated typically relied on Taijutsu and ninja tools for output.
