Chapter 461 - Chapter 270: The Uchiha Problem

The exchange between Tsunade and Mokgetsu left Nohara Rin bewildered. How did they suddenly shift to talking about food? Had she zoned out for a few minutes?

"Ahem, this Chakra Control Ability is quite impressive," Tsunade commented with a serious tone after a light cough.

The key to Monster Strength Power is Chakra Control. Nohara Rin being able to use such Monster Strength already proves her Chakra Control Ability.

After observing Nohara Rin's Medical Ninjutsu and Monster Strength, Tsunade nearly decided on the next set of courses for Rin to learn.

"Then I'll leave Shizune to you. I don't care how you teach her, but I expect to see Shizune's progress after six months." Tsunade continued.

The reason Tsunade agreed to teach Nohara Rin in her somewhat laid-back state was because of an agreement with Mokgetsu. The two temporarily exchanged students, ensuring her overall workload remained unchanged.

Of course, Tsunade also felt that Mokgetsu was quite skilled at teaching. Shizune could learn a lot from him.

"No problem, I will earnestly guide Shizune," Mokgetsu nodded in agreement.

Mokgetsu acknowledged that his medical knowledge might not surpass Tsunade's, but he was indeed skilled at helping people improve their power.

"Does this mean I should move to Teacher Mokgetsu's house?" Shizune asked, puzzled.

Shizune knew about studying with Mokgetsu, as Tsunade had mentioned it to her before.

Since Shizune's parents had passed away and her close uncle, Katou Dan, was also deceased, she currently lived at Tsunade's house. Tsunade's words seemed to imply that she intended to leave Shizune completely in Mokgetsu's care.

"If Mokgetsu agrees, then it's possible, plus you can deliver my meals every day," Tsunade stroked her chin, considering the idea quite appealing.

Even though Tsunade was somewhat accustomed to Shizune's care, if the premise was that she could snag meals from Mokgetsu, she could also manage on her own.

"Lady Tsunade!" Shizune's cheeks puffed up in slight anger; she was entirely being used to mooch meals.

"Better not," Mokgetsu shook his head in refusal.

He wasn't related to Shizune. Even if Shizune was a nine-year-old girl, it seemed somewhat inappropriate since Shizune had a place to live.

Moreover, Mokgetsu had too many secrets on him. Staying for a few days was fine, but living together long-term required complete trust.

Tsunade showed a regretful expression, saying, "Mokgetsu, you're missing out on a good opportunity. Shizune is really good at handling household chores."

Mokgetsu smiled without responding.

"Lady Tsunade feels different than expected." The image of Tsunade in Nohara Rin's mind underwent a shift.

Even though she had been there once before, that time they only shared a meal and didn't have much contact with Tsunade. So, Rin's impression of Tsunade still came from outside rumors.

For Tsunade, of The Legendary Sannin of Konoha, normal individuals wouldn't dare to speak ill and offend her, so Rin's impression of Tsunade was extremely positive.

"What is the true nature of Lady Tsunade?" With this curiosity, Nohara Rin began learning from Tsunade.

...

"Grandmother, you wouldn't believe how urgent things were. If it weren't for me, both the Daimyo of Snow Country and the little princess would have been in danger."

While eating dinner, Obito was enthusiastically recounting his heroic story in Snow Country.

Although, in reality, he and Kakashi together blocked Kazahana Doto's attack, Kakashi wasn't present, so Obito added a slight narrative twist, turning it into a Kakashi-supporting story centering him.

"Hmm, alright, alright, our Obito is really impressive, saving a country." Grandmother smiled praisingly.

Even though many things Obito said went over her head, the part about Obito protecting the Daimyo and princess was simple and clear to understand.

"Hehe." Grandmother's direct praise made Obito shyly squirm and smile: "Actually, it was mostly Teacher Mokgetsu's contribution. Teacher Mokgetsu handled most of the enemies."

Story modification wasn't reckless; Obito wouldn't directly claim Mokgetsu's achievements because he simply didn't have the strength to defeat hundreds of ninjas.

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

As Grandmother was about to get up and open the door, Obito stood up quickly and said, "Grandmother, I'll get it."

After speaking, Obito quickly trotted to the door and opened it to find Uchiha Yashiro standing outside.

"Obito, there's a clan meeting tonight at eight, make sure you arrive at Nankai Shrine on time," Uchiha Yashiro said without entering after seeing it was Uchiha Obito who opened the door.

Typically, he wouldn't need to inform Obito about such matters, but he had high hopes for Obito. Also, Obito had missed previous clan meetings for various reasons; this would be Obito's first time attending, so Uchiha Yashiro personally came over.

"Every ninja in the clan without missions will attend the meeting; you can use this opportunity to interact more with other ninjas in the clan," Uchiha Yashiro advised.

The Uchiha Clan revered strength, and while Obito's dedication to cultivation was no issue, Uchiha Yashiro hoped Obito would interact more with the clan to enhance his sense of family belonging.

"Eight o'clock, got it," Obito thought for a moment and nodded in agreement.

Having never attended before, Obito figured he'd go once to see. If it was dull, he wouldn't go again.

Now that he felt suppressed by Kakashi, he was quite discontent, spending virtually all his free time cultivating. If something seemed pointless, he truly didn't wish to waste time on it.

"Obito, who was at the door?" Grandmother asked as Obito returned to the dining table alone.
