Simon and Harry immediately did not give a moment's rest for the announcement to stop.
Simon pulled his hand upwards and slashed it like an axe. The wind carried the motion of the hand and immediately cut the rope of the box. The box plunged to the ground and shattered into countless glass fragments.
There was a shiny key in the shattered glass.
'He has wind manipulation as his attribute?'
As they were not allowed to touch, it was probably because that other than Simon, Wallace, Dorian and Harry did not have non-physical attributes. Dorian could surely change his position with the key, but then what? What will even happen? Simon and Harry probably realised this, so they did not immediately rush in.
"Dorian, how can we use the key without touching it?. We could have done it if we hadn't had our attributes suitable for other 'functions'."
"Let me think, Wallace"
While Dorian and Wallace were brainstorming the idea, it was Harry who made the first move. Harry extended his right hand, and he pulled the key towards his side. It was a slow process, but it pulled the key in a few seconds. After pulling the key, Harry used his other left arm, and now the key was moving ever so slightly towards the door.
"Dorian, this son of a bitch has an affinity for magnets. You can see him using his left and right hands to alternate the poles."
"Fuck. What should we do? We can't win this round either"
"Dorian, think of something. Fast, I can calculate that his weak attribute will win them this round. Think of something fast"
'Grabbing the key without touching, these bastards hit the jackpot. With his sorry excuse of magnets, they'll win.'
Dorian ran towards the Door, he tried to pull the door, but it didn't work.
'Damm!'
Simon laughed like a madman: "HAHA, you see this, Wallace. We're only naturally favoured by the earth deity. See this, Harry has an attribute which causes him to change parts of his body into magnets. This will be the end of your team. You see this, errand boy. Errand boy looks pathetic. Are you losing the little guy? Wallace and your faces might be pretty, but we received the better attributes."
Dorian did not even spare a single glance or look at Simon, for now, he was mumbling to himself while analysing the door.
'Key...Door'
'Without touching the key,..'

--
'Wait.'
"Wallace, do you trust me? For what I am going to do next, do not interfere, but stay close to the door, far enough but just enough so you can reach it in mere seconds. We will win this round." Dorian whispered to Wallace.
"Do whatever you want, Dorian, if it'll win us this round"
Simon had been chanting taunts nonstop since Harry had been pulling the key towards the Door. For the first time, Dorian turned his face around and looked at Simon.
Dorian's face was like that of a hunter who was going to hunt prey. It sent shivers down Simon's body, but you can take the nobility of a man, but you can't take the stupidity.
Simon turned his face into a look of disgust: "You're finally looking at me? Country boy, appreciate true nobility. Look at me and Harry, we're superior to your country ass. Lick my feet and maybe I'll let you win the next round as a treat."
"Well fucker, you asked for it"
Dorian did not hesitate and sprinted towards Simon.
He looked like a true demon with horns. His eyes did not carry any emotions, but there was a killing intent. Dorian, for a second, did not even hesitate.
He turned his hands into a fist and pulled them backwards.
The fist flew fast, and it struck Simon's face.
Simon was sent flying through the room.
The punch was the culmination of the training Dorian had undergone and his natural body strength.
Simon almost passed out, but he managed to compose himself in the end. Harry was broad-eyed, and his mouth was dropping down.
Harry shouted: "What the fuck are you doing, country bitch? You just hit a noble; you'll pay for it with your life. Simon, kill that motherfucker. Use your wind slashes."
Simon stood up with sloppy movements, but he swung his hands and threw a slash towards Dorian.
The wind slash was flowing through the floor, and it continued in the path of Dorian. The wind slash was as fast as the sound of speed. All this time, Dorian had a smile on his face.
The wind slash was as fast as sound. Dorian was a human after all; he could not dodge the slash at all. The wind-slash, though, might have been from a rank 1 Ascender. If Dorian were struck with the wind-slash, he would drop out of the entrance.
But-
There were some weapons in Dorian's arsenal that were as fast as the speed of sound.
SNAP!
The sounds of snapping resonated through the floor, simultaneously as the wind slash was coming through to Dorian.
Dorian had disappeared.
In what was there in the position of Dorian, there was a pebble in the ground. Dorian had switched places with a pebble.
The wind slash continued in its path.
BOOM!
A loud noise erupted through the floor; it was the noise of a tall wooden structure being broken.
Door.
The wind slash had transferred its energy to the door. The door exploded into countless fragments.
In the next two seconds, as if he had already planned for this to happen, Wallace, who was conveniently close to the door, stepped into the door's opening. Wallace had entered the other room.
In these two seconds, Harry and Simon were shocked. What happened in these few seconds, they could not comprehend. For it was Simon's slash that opened the door.
[NPC, you have won the first round]
A young girl's voice spoke through the rune-artefact.
Dorian quickly made his way through the door.
Simon and Harry were left on their knees. They had lost the first round, though; they could win the next round, it was a possibility.
Neither Simon nor Harry truly understood Wallace and Dorian's attributes, but neither could they understand the other team's true thoughts.
Simon saw a vision in his mind; he was beneath the ground, while Wallace and Dorian were up on the wall.

In the control room.
Many admiring gazes were towards Alfred.
But before this, a blue-haired girl had taken the gazes of all the professor.
