Chapter 169 - Chapter 121: I Offer You My Loyalty! (Part 2)

Sarquiss instinctively touched his chest, the tattoo on his chest was still the symbol of the Doflamingo Pirates, he needed to find a place to cover it up and tattoo the symbol of the Disaster Pirates.

Sage looked at the lively scene, a smirk on his lips, the feeling of transferring the loyalty of faithful people to himself wasn't bad at all.

After some celebration and a few drinks, Sage got up and headed to the captain's cabin, letting the crew entertain themselves.

After being well-fed and rested, Gin approached Bellamy.

"Your words are ambitious, but your attitude, I don't like."

Gin pulled out the combat nunchakus from his waist, saying, "Captain Sage is invincible, not just anyone can speak arrogantly to him. As the Combat Commander, I'll teach you what rules and respect mean. Now, training begins!"

The Spring-Spring Fruit user, looked good, but in reality, definitely not as strong as Gin now.

For newcomers, Gin is responsible for teaching the rules and training them, in hopes of mastering the Six Styles as soon as possible.

Although Bellamy is an Ability User and not bad in combat, essentially... he's still too weak.

...

Two days later.

In a town on an island, a fire inexplicably broke out.

After departing from Jaya Island for two days, the Log Pose guided them to an island with a town, quite lively, especially with many wealthy people among them.

With only two hundred million left in the treasure vault, Sage waved his hand, ordering his subordinates to go robbing.

But a mishap occurred...

In the center of the town square, Bellamy grabbed a pirate's head and slammed it forcefully to the ground, creating a dent with a bang.

"You unruly scoundrel!"

Bellamy licked his lips, glaring fiercely at the dozen or so pirates kneeling on the ground, grinning: "If you can't follow the rules, then what kind of pirate can you be?"

At a fountain up ahead, Sage sat at the edge, elbows on his knees, fingers interlocked supporting his chin, his expression somewhat gloomy.

"Sage, let me."

Lily immediately drew her White Thunder, about to step forward.

"No need, I'll handle it myself."

He stood up, drew his ornate flintlock gun from his waist, and slowly walked towards those kneeling people.

Bellamy gripped the hair of the pirate he slammed down, forcibly pulling him up, revealing a face covered in blood.

"Captain, spare me..." the man pleaded, "I, I won't dare again next time."

"I told you when you boarded the ship, don't rob the poor, they have little money, just like you they're poor wretches, oh, you're not quite a wretch, you have a bounty... How much did you take?"

He gestured with his hand, and Pearl respectfully handed over a blood-stained wad of cash. Within that wad, the highest amount was only a single ten-thousand Belly note, the rest were small change and coins mixed in.

"Captain, it's about fifty thousand Belly in total," Pearl said, "and there's also a pendant."

"Fifty thousand Belly, for such a small amount, you killed a couple. They didn't hinder your robbery, obediently staying put at home, yet you still had to steal."

Sage pointed the gun muzzle at the pirate, "You're not just ignoring ship rules; you're ignoring me..."

"Captain, they were just two civilians, and I'm your subordinate!" the pirate cried out, "I joined your pirate crew to serve you!"

Sage's finger rested on the trigger, coldly saying, "I don't need disobedient, insubordinate subordinates. Even the Four Emperors, as strong as they are, I don't favor."

As he was about to be shot, the pirate shrieked, "You're not a pirate at all! I'm the real pirate, you don't deserve to be a captain!"

Bam!

The lead bullet entered the top of his head, creating a hole and splattering blood in the air.

"What is a pirate, trash like you cannot define."

Sage aimed his smoking gun at the next kneeling pirate, pulling the trigger directly.

Bam!

Another shot, taking the person down, a new hole on the forehead bleeding and staining the ground.

Mercy?

Righteousness?

It doesn't matter how you put it, but every pirate has their own style.

Of course, there are those low-life pirates who want everything, but that's certainly not Sage.

On his ship, one must follow his rules.

Rob if you must, those who resist can be killed, but when someone falls outside of Sage's robbing target and obediently hides, yet someone disregards orders and breaks into civilians' homes, taking such a meager amount of wealth.

If Bellamy hadn't seen it, Sage on the ship wouldn't even know about this.

This batch of people were victors in Demon Valley Town, led by a pirate with a bounty of twenty million who behaved when joining, only to show true colors upon reaching town.

Bam bam bam bam!

After emptying six lead bullets, Sage executed six subordinates, and Pearl respectfully supplied new bullets. As Sage reloaded, he said:

"The sea is of course free, you can do whatever you want, but when you join my pirate crew, you must abide by my rules."

Sage never forbids his pirates from doing this or that, they can do whatever they want as long as they follow his rules; he doesn't mind.

Following rules, obeying orders, such simple requests, and yet there are those who can't manage it?

After emptying the bullets again, Sage didn't even glance at the pirate corpses on the square, turning towards the other side of the woody area, where several wealthy, well-dressed people were hanging.
