The white core shattered with a loud bang from the center, the burning metallic fragments scattered in all directions, the debris with sparks shooting around the highway, bouncing off the surface and walls.
"When the Core of Wisdom is destroyed, activate the effect!" Placido shouted, "Destroy all other monsters on your field!
Then, Special Summon from hand, deck, or graveyard, the five components of Divine Wisdom!

Placido quickly drew the five cards that popped out from the deck.

With each shout, a card was placed onto the Duel Disc. From the starlight vortex appeared, respectively, the torso of a white mecha, a steel head with red facial markings, machine hands with arms like swords, and mechanical legs that levitated the whole body in mid-air.

The five monsters combined into a giant mecha, known as one of the three great Machine Emperors, the Synchro Killer, Machine Emperor Divine Wisdom!
"The 'Machine Emperor Divine Wisdom ∞' assembled with the five components is considered one monster, its Attack Power becomes the total of the Attack Powers of the five components!"

"To think that even with such defense, you still managed to blow up the core and summon Divine Wisdom." Yugen chuckled lightly, "That's impressive."
Yet this attitude only made Placido feel more uneasy.
This guy's tone implied it was all expected. Did he know about the Machine Emperor's existence all along? Despite seeing Divine Wisdom for the first time, he wasn't surprised by the transformation mechanism of the five components or the unique pressure of the Machine Emperor at all.
Placido suddenly started to think that perhaps rushing out to face this person directly like this might have been too rash. He knew nothing about this person, yet this person seemed to understand him and the Machine Emperor's Divine Wisdom well.
"The 'Dimensional Opening Slash' effect activated by Chaos Warrior - Messenger of Creation can't attack this turn."
Yugen waved his hand again.
"Then I'll set four cards in the backrow, ending my turn."
Swish swish swish swish, again, a dense backrow of four set cards.
"And during the end phase, Stardust Dragon's effect that released itself activated," Yugen said, "Returning from the graveyard as a Special Summon!"
In fact, under modern Yu-Gi-Oh!'s real card rules, such an operation wouldn't be allowed. The Stardust Dragon summoned through the effect of 'Starlight Avenue' is considered a "non-standard arrival," not through formal Synchro Summon.
Under modern rules, monsters that cannot be normally summoned and summoned through non-standard means are sent to the grave, and are subject to "revival restrictions." In other words, if a Synchro monster didn't go through the proper Synchro process, Stardust Dragon can't be revived from the grave.

Stardust Dragon let out a desperate cry but finally unable to resist, forced to be dragged into the Machine Emperor's chest cavity by energy tendrils.
The transparent Dragon Soul appeared in an energetic form on the attack department as an arm of Divine Wisdom, like a Dragon Soul Sword burning entirely.
"Divine Wisdom gains the absorbed Synchro Monster's attack power, amplifying its own attack power!"

Yugen feigned surprise: "Attack Power of five thousand!"
Placido immediately felt a sense of achievement: "Ha ha, do you see? The power brought by foolish Synchro Monsters only leads to destruction; humans who recklessly use Synchro powers will ultimately be backfired by what they can't control!"
Then he played another Monster Card from his hand.
"Release the 'Divine Wisdom Attack Department' on the field, and summon the level five 'Divine Wisdom Attack Department 5' from the hand!"
The attack department serving as an arm disintegrated into light points, but these countless light points quickly reassembled, transforming into a stronger, thicker new arm.
The components summoned by the Core of Wisdom were all one-star, basic components of the Machine Emperor. On this foundation, the top, attack department, defense department, and carrier department of the Machine Emperor each have higher star level upgrade components.
The Machine Emperor isn't just capable of absorbing Synchro Monsters. All of its body parts can be replaced and upgraded, and after upgrading, each gains new effects, which is also its strength.
Of course, this means that the Machine Emperor's deck in the animation would at least need to carry the core, magic, and trap to destroy the core, then stuff various Machine Emperor components and upgrade components...
Oh right, and then make sure to draw the core and the magic trap that destroys the core at the beginning. And ideally, the whole bunch of Machine Emperor components shouldn't end up in your hand, as they would just clog it...
